Long time Journey fan here. I was absolutely brought to tears hearing Deen singing Still They Ride. He does not sing it Steve but it sounds amazing and heartfelt all the same. And the smile that Ross has on his face as he strolls into frame is half through is full of happiness. I could listen/watch Deen do this non-stop.

I never heard of Journey before til Arnel Pineda became the lead vocalist and I became a fan of AP after his interview with Mama Ogs. I became so curious who AP is so I googled him and search him on YT. I am based in Sydney Australia since 1985 and I don’t think Journey had ever been to Oz to perform. I’m not sure but it seems that Journey is not that popular here. AP is an amazing singer and I admire his unique voice..so powerful.♥️♥️♥️
Yes AP is good but you talk about a powerful voice and soothing you need to listen to Journey with Steve Perry. God gave that man a voice with ease. Plz don't think I'm not giving AP praise cause he is fantastic. Just saying. ❤

I heard Deen sing "Faithfully" before live. Had never heard Still They Ride before. But wow.... what a voice! I did notice a couple of spots that indicate there was likely a backing track lead vocal for Deen though. Watch/listen very carefully. Two spots when he holds out "ride". One of them he goes to "ride" (note is G) then up to A and back down to G. If you watch him carefully, he does not appear to move his mouth/neck in such a away that indicates he is changing notes. Then another time it's the reverse. The vocal track holds out the G for the duration of "ride". But his neck/mouth indicate he goes from G-A-G, but only the G is heard. There's a couple other spots as well. Anyone notice that? Maybe I'm just too nerdy. ( :

This is great! I've seen Journey twice, with Steve in 1982, and with Arnel in 2014. They were great in 1982. I know that Arnel is a great singer, but in 2014 the audience stood and sang along to the point that we couldn't hear him. The audience was quiet when Deen sang "Mother Father". He was great. It was a good show. It would have been better if I could have heard Arnel.
