I made this today.. I added garlic powder , onion powder and parsley flakes to the dough, it turned out great! Thank you for the recipe Chetna!

One of the things I used to do was cut the loaf prematurely. For some time now, I am waiting until it’s completely cool to slice it. If I want a warm slice, I just pop it in the toaster or under broiler. Part of the cooking process takes place on the counter while the bread cools. Don’t skip that step. Thank you Chetna for showing us how to make bread. It’s a delight to see you.

I see you love your new oven. I’m still using trays of water and a spray bottle to get my stem. Lovely looking bread. It is pretty much exactly my proportions, but I do not use fat. 65% hydration dough with 2% salt and 2% yeast.

Going to try this weekend. I have instant yeast packets. Is that the same thing?
I read before instant and rapid were the same. I used in recipes and bread came out good. If recipe says says "yeast" than I just use regular yeast.

400 grams flour, 8 g salt, 8 g yeast, 30 g soft butter, looks like about 260 ml water.
How can I create steam in my oven and make this recipe if I don’t have the neff steam oven?
To create the steam, I usually use a separate tray (like a deep dish tray) with water(3/4 mark) and put it on the bottom rack, while the bread is on the top rack. This should create the steam, to cook the bread in the oven.
