Not to burst bubbles, but does anyone else remember these ColdSnap guys coming to TWO different CES's before this? They've shown this product so many times, all slightly different, but they're never ready to roll out the final product. I'm starting to think it's vaporware...
Not me, it's real.
mass production is a pain
This is VC bait. No way they could make this viable at scale.
Exactly. I remember seeing this exact same thing advertised years ago, but when I went to buy it, it never actually existed. They keep showing it off and misleading people.
They are probably looking for investors, its fine 🎉
This is something McDonald’s needs so they wouldn’t have their ice cream machine broken again
They should have that at hotels
Cool concept, but reminds me of Juicero a little bit. This machine just freezes the cans and then serves them, and takes alot of room in a kitchen. I thought it might've injected milk or some other substance into the content of the can, but it just freezes them. Again, cool concept, but I feel like it's unnecessary for household use. Maybe for restaurants? But restaurants already have huge freezers.
If it freezes. And makes ice cream then it reminds me of that Ninja ice cream maker.. though that's more like using juice to make ice cream
@@lingthThe Ninja Creami doesn't use juice to make ice cream... If you use juice in it it's to make sorbet. These are completely different machines. It's like comparing an expensive espresso machine to a pod machine.
if its like that then you can just put it in the freezer and open it yourself without a machine....
It's exactly the same as Juicero. Why do I need a $100+ machine to freeze a *CAN* of ice cream for me? The ice cream in my freezer is ready immediately!
I'd consider buying a home version if they are priced similar to the Keurig machines. The big money is selling the canisters to make the ice cream, just like Keurig makes all their money on selling the K-cups.
They're currently open to businesses, so I assume they're too expensive for consumers
@@mujtabaalam5907 Well now there is the Ninja Creami that sells for $200. My daughter got one from Costco for around $150 on sale and she said it makes good ice cream and sorbet.
I'm so disappointed the CEO wasn't dressed like Steve Jobs and saying he's going to disrupt the soft serve ice cream industry.
What I need is to learn how to make Ice Cream
That’s a keeper! I would definitely go for a home model of this.
They need to change the thumbnail to the video... It looks like she is excited about the innereds of a toilet.... Lol great product though
i would like to see this at a Disney hotel or a restaurant now that will be amazing
Guys That thumnail DOES NOT LOOK LIKE ICECREAM 😳😬😬😬
I see these being big at gas stations because Petro-Canada here in Alberta has instant milkshake machines using similar technology... Grab a frozen cup from the cupboard, stick it in the machine and it melts/blends it to your favorite consistency... But this being shelf-stable? Even better! Can't wait to see these rolled out everywhere! Only downside I see are those cannisters but as long as they have a recycle/take back program? Great!
F-real it think, we have them a Ultramar stations in Ontario
Every full size American needs one on his desk.
lol
My house. I have a commercial ice cream machine now, this is smaller, I can't wait. Well done ColdSnap.
This isn’t ice cream. This is soft serve. Very big difference!
Maybe it tastes better than it looks…
We currently use a ninja creamie. I guess my questions would be how many ounces is each container? is one container considered a serving? What is the projected cost for the containers and, What happens if you don't use the entire container?
i love cold snap !
I always question what they put on products to keep long shelf life
How much for a pod or cannister & good for how many cups per cannister?
This is pretty awesome.
I could see a lot of restaurants using this, like McDonald's, Dairy Queen, Friendly's, etc.
Save me some! Sounds delicious & I can see this being very popular 😊
You make it fun to watch !!
I’m expecting Bridget’s videos today to become ever more wild as she keeps returning to this booth for a top-up… 😅
1:02 Looks like soft serve? It looks like my neighbor's dog dropping a deuce.
For the complaints how is this better than just a regular tub in the freezer, same reason as k kups. Flavors and variety. You may have one tub of one flavor in your freezer. Maybe two. Not only is that only 1 or two flavors, it takes up valuable freezer space. Those tubs arent small.
Here, these are room temperature cans. You can for instance buy a variety pack and keep in your pantry (which usually has more room than your freezer). And then try a new flavor each time.
It also lasts longer. No freezer burn.
It looks like a machine taking a 💩.
Is this Juicero 2.0?
This would be huge at gas station convenience stores!
Where can I invest in this company?
There’s a spot for you to stand right next to the dumpster where all the cans and machines will end up that you can literally just toss your money into.
@@BusterDarcyshh dont tell him that he will call you a communist
I would love me some rum ice cream please!!!! Nice one Bridget, we need one of these in every home :D
My favorite dessert is ice cream 🍦 😋
One girl...one cup, LOL!
Underrated comment!
Looks so appetizing coming out of there..
haha chocolate more funnier
i seriously hope this dosent end like juicero
So you need to buy their proprietary machine with their proprietary cold snap flavor cans.. sound Like Nespresso and their pods to me.
except how often do you eat soft serve ice cream a day?
so what are ingredients of that ice cream?!
i need this
Is a good idea, but I need to have space in my Kitchen for this.
I edit that I know is for Business but why not for home LOL
It looks like diarrhea coming out of the machine 😂
Why not just buy some ice cream?
Comparing it to a Ninja Creami. It's much bigger, so can't really fit on your counter. It uses proprietary "pods". You can't alter the flavors. It only makes 5.2 oz of ice cream. The pods are not yet completely recyclable. This is a Juicero for ice cream.
😅😅😅 they changed the original thumbnail.. great job guys
Thought she was pointing at doo doo
Why hhaha is it so hard to go buy a bucket 😂
Of course it's proprieatary. The best flavors I've seen are tropical.
It was quite tasty!!
Like Soda Stream, but with ice! COOL PARTY. ALLOW ME TO BREAK THE ICE. CHILL OUT. ICE TO TO SEE YOU.🥶
Looks like the aftermath of indian food.
I mean aren't there already F'real machines?
I am watching this while pooping… i am never getting that machine…
It looks like Brown 25 to me.😂
Won't need McDonald's ice cream machine anymore.
Okay, but that comes out with the size and texture of baby 💩
Its the juice thing again.
What the deuce?
What’s the cost ?
I spoke to them, it is currently not attainable for the average person. They want 3,000 to 3,500$ for a machine. I think it is due to the size of manufacturing/production at the moment
@@cameraguy200 damn okay.
If that was placed into a shop or somthing you could make that back within two weeks to a month. Charging $7-9 Per cup of ice cream .
@@alphagodvon they also want $5 a pod lol
You’d have to sell 1750 ice creams at a $7 each with a $2 profit per ice cream to make back the $3500
@@cameraguy200 damn again 😂😂
Ambuja flavour ice cream 😅
Juicero and with ice cream...
Juicero flashback 😅
Not a single smoothie website in 2003-04. Be dubious.
2003 /2004 ????
Pardon?
Why does it matter?
It doesn't matter if there wasn't any websites related to smoothies back in 2003-2004.
When Facebook & Twitter were first invented. @@rig4365
🍦love
just get a ninja creami
🔥
No war make ice creams
CNET principle video producer have pramot startup youngsters ?
one, important, question: are there, eventually, gluten free flavors compatible with this (interesting) machine? Thanks
Oh yeah i see those use cases, i dont think its good for home use.
Couldn't you find a different colored ice cream to percent to the people it Looks like stuff you would pull out of a car wash Sewage, that's the only thing throwing me off
Her body and facial reactions said she did not enjoy it. Not the best thing to show to try to convince people to go buy one .
Talk about waste. Is that a single serving per canister? Pods being shelf-stable isn’t the trade-off for an entire machine and ecosystem for it. Just buy ice cream. 🍨
Look like doo doo
That looks expensive and loaded with preservatives. Much rather prefer the Ninja creami.
more chemicals, one of those products no one needs. Read the list of ingredients !!!!
Nah bro this aint it 🤢🤮😭
It might taste good but looks soooo bad, smh 🤦🏻♂️
No, there is no need for a home version, people have enough problems with being overweight.
I'm confused is this a dog diarrhea machine or a dessert machine. That just doesn't look right.
It doesn’t take that much time or effort to make ice cream of all kinds of flavors if you buy a food processor/ blender instead
IT is still the same ultra processed crap that is ruining everyone's health.
That's not ice cream...looks like a turd 😂😂😂
I bet Joe Biden and Kamala Harris would love this.
poo
A waste , bet high cost per serving
Her yapping made me not want to buy the product.
Looks gross
Such absolute nonsense
It looks like COVID poo
This chick and this product are both terrible. You get instant ice cream by opening the freezer and taking out the container of ice cream.
Meh. Keurig is such a ridiculous invention that I've never understood. So wasteful and expensive. Just make coffee.... Soft serve is at least something you can't make at home. But if you can't customize your own flavors like you can with an actual ice cream machine then it's useless to me. I'll never get the appeal of this sort of thing.
Terrible name and logo and color choice. It looks like a 60's machine. They should make it all black. Copy the Nespresso design.
it doesn’t look appealing 💩🥴🤮
why.is.she.talking.with.those... pauses...it...is ...so... distracting
Bad product. Such a razor and razor blade game... like SodaStream. What do i do as a consumer when ColdSnap tells me they are no longer support this "Food Cartridge"?! Why do I need to wait for you create the different type of ice cream?! It is very silly for companies to create these unnecessary IP moat. They don't delete process, create real cost savings, and true individual experimentation and customization of flavors. There are very fancy ice cream makers already.
With a little planning, you can already buy ice cream from a store and not need to pay for entry cost of this ice cream maker, storage of appliance, and two minutes to make it! You can not have just one spoon rather than one portion size.
Can you Imgaine buying popcorn machine using the company's specific microwave and their popcorn microwave packaging? DOA. Too much MBA and not enough real world understanding of delivering value to the consumer.
It looks like a poof hahaha
