Use Ecamm wired into Zoom in order to display the screen of the virtual keyboard, score, and chord names to your students on the other side of Zoom. Use the PIP function in Ecamm in order to display all widgets to your students. MIDIculous Pro can detach and resize all virtual displays for easy ergonomics.
Use Ecamm as a virtual cam and pipe the video into Zoom. The student will be able to see all of the animations live. Add another overhead camera to display your fingers as well.
MIDIculous 4.0 will be released on November 23rd. It will be on sale and there will be additional crossgrade discounts for previous users. The iPad version will not be released until later this year or first part of 2021.

I tried downloadinf a song to learn how to play it with the highlighted keys from MIDIculous.
@@leoedwards9458 - You have to fix the image in zoom - In zoom video settings - you click "Mirror" and that would change the view for you. In reality everyone would see you just fine. But I know that you also want to see yourself correctly.

It’s a setting in Zoom itself, mirror screen. Just have to uncheck it.

Is there a way to add an overhead camera view of your hands and crop the midikeys (remove pedals) as an overlay in ECamm? I've seen videos using OBS, but none with that particular view using ECamm.

Jamal, under settings, meeting, there is an option to mirror my video. Turn it off and it should fix the backwardness problem

I have a chrome box computer in my piano studio and I just got a seperate account for this computer and I downloaded the FREE Midiculous Player to this computer. BUT when I open the download folder it has the User guide but I cant find where to open the app. Could you please HELP!!!!!! Thank you in advance
If only there was an app version like OBS studio for iOS devices so I can use the camera from my iPad or iPhone for my students to see me!
I’m searching as well. I want to be able to use my iPad as my main teaching tool just like this setup. But if your not looking for midiculous to be shown but just your face and hands you can just use another device ( like another phone that has zoom on it and position it however )and join you session just like your students would.

Hi Jamal! At this time, I don't need virtual lessons. I wanted to simply create tutorial videos of songs, showing my hands & a lighted virtual keyboard. I also wanted the notes I'm playing showing up in letter form. Am I able to do this on my Midiculous 3 software? Thanks!

Hi Jamal, is there a way to get audio to OBS from Midiculous without a delay (using MKS Xtreme plugin). I am using iShow Audio capture on the audio outout settings to get the audio to OBS, and monitoring the output in OBS. I think this is the issue as I am hearing it slightly after I am playing. How do you capture the audio without a delay. If you achieve it in ECamm then any help appreciated thanks.
there is no download link anywhere on the site. It keeps pushing the paid versions and only says about the free version, but I guess the free version doesn't exist. I made an account but no download options, the free version leads nowhere

@@GospelMusicians thank you I got it, actually I was expecting a direct download link, coz I didnt think you'd require all payment details form and whole purchasing process, and then the download link is sent to the email with activation code, even for the free version. Anyway the website is very bad, we are left confusd where to go what to do if we just wanna download the free version. You should improve the site to explain the process. The Windows, Mac options are useless, they just send us at the bottom of the page, nowhere.
Hey bro, I need your help... I'm using screenflow to help me record my piano tutorials... Everything works but when I play the recording back it only pick up my microphone... You can see the light when I thought the keys but no audio is playing back... What shall I do?? In need of help ASAP lol
you need to use a software called Loopback to wire audio, or use an external Mixer like the Zoom L12.
Hi can I get little advice pls? Am using Midicolous as a Virtual Piano for me doing Piano Content recording through OBS Studio. Using Focusrite 4i4 3rd gen. I have Midi Keyboard and using Vst sound that I v loaded in Midicolous. But now when I am trying to Record a Video in OBS I don’t receiving and audio input from Midi keyboard to Midicolous. And I am very confused and not sure what to do. Any advice please would be really much appreciated. Thanks
We are not really users of OBS as we use Ecamm Live, but here are some solutions:
- Use WireTap on OSX to create a virtual Audio output
- Use a Mixer like Roadecaster Pro and wire the output of the MIDIculous to an output
- Use some type of screen recording driver that can record system audio.

No you need the Pro Version.
i have the pro version now. But it cannot scan new plugins. Not able to play new instruiments, i don't know why. @@GospelMusicians

Serious lag using Midiculous 4 Pro through Ecamm. Also even though I already got the paid version to show support I can't open your app without being forced to wait for your auto upgrade popup. There is no upgrade for what I have. How do I kill this annoying consistent popup? It keeps slowing down my work flow.

Yes. I'm using it in OBS with a MacBook Pro. I would like to switch to ECamm, but am not sure if ECamm will allow what I am currenlty doing in OBS. I'm posing questions about this currently.

Miami Music Stars Is the Acoustic piano has MIDI then yes. We use a Yamaha Montage, but any keyboard with MIDI will work.

I am sorry to let you know, this way of teaching piano is not working for a kids who has 3, or 4 years. You as a teacher you need to show to the small student the correction of fingers and show the rhythm of the song, the right fingering for left and right hand. Piano can not be taught online. Piano lessons needs real and physically teacher to work one on one with small students.
Everyone learns differently my dude. I mean first of all this isn’t for little kids to understand Haha this is for a different level and genre of music. Stay in your own circle 🤷🏽♂️ lol. This guy is a blessing to give us sounds that we need and his ability to teach us greatly appreciated by many!
