The comments are warranted because Dragon's Den and Shark Tank are informercials for tangible products. This is not a tech start up show. I agree in tech small percentage equity even during start up phase is not unheard of because of the crazy amount of returns. But this show is free advertisement for the company and the dragons, plus they do have "credibility" as they are in the public due to these shows. So they do bring great value because they do bring initial value after the show is released due to consumer interest, distributors, and others.
I really do not like the argument that a business is one person…. people are capable of building teams and having succession planning. Tej. and Touker absolutely amazing - congratulations.

The market for a product that makes birthing experiance better is massive. Just the USA alone is such a big market with their crap*y health care system.
