I remember playing Fallout New Vegas - there was a quest where some merchant asked me to bring him some ridiculous amount of metal things for weapons production. And the most suitable appeared to be tin cans. When I brought him those cans I remembered Sidorovich and laughed out loud:) By the way, he was not present in Call of Pripyat since there was no Cordon location available.
Long ago, in a tiny Ukrainian village, a mischievous farmer named Mykola decided to prank his rival, Ivan, during the annual harvest festival. Mykola tied a bunch of tin cans to Ivan's prized cow, thinking it would cause chaos. Instead, the clanging cow accidentally scared off a group of approaching bandits, who thought the noise was an army of knights charging at them. The village cheered, and Ivan, furious but impressed, claimed it was all his plan. From then on, Ukrainians began collecting tin cans every year, tying them to animals and parading them around, "just in case" more bandits showed up. The tradition stuck, and now it’s a national excuse to clang cans, drink vodka, and argue over whose goat makes the best racket. The best part is, i made it all up.
To be serious, Sidorovich was saying that when you were exiting trade mode without buying\selling or if you were making some small transaction. By that he meant your loot was trash. Probably triggered when you sell him stuff cheaper than some predefined amount.
☢ *Yes... this is actually in the game ---->* ua-cam.com/video/x0NklGNJtx0/v-deo.html
Looks like Marked actually collected all cans that he found and bring them to Sidor🤣

Why every Stalker vide have this song?
Because the song slaps
The bandits really became breakout stars in the series, and it's hard not to think of them and their radio song when the series is mentioned!
I dont understand, as I never played the game in Ukrainian, whats fun about getting cans?

@@andrewerohin2459 ooooh thank you very much
He basically says sarcastically “you could’ve brought me tin cans instead of this trash” and this phrase became a meme 😅
