Feel the same on the tow vehicle. We had the same discussions. From traveling wtih a trailer to now a fifth wheel. We definitely like the space and better travel days. Our RV serves as our home base. Our truck is what we use to venture out. Same thing if we had a class A, tow vehicle is our way to explore. Keep them coming.
For us it's the only way to travel going forward. We so missed it while in Alaska. Our friends were so sweet to help us out but it's just nice to have your own. Thanks so much for taking the time to watch and leave a comment. 😊
You guys are awesome and such an inspiration. We started RVing and our channel because of you two and a few others. I still think we will go the smaller route when we go to Alaska. Thanks for taking us along.
When I subscribed to your channel at first, it was due to your class A diesel pusher as we are seeking to do the full time RV lifestyle in a class A diesel pusher. Your positive and helpful vids won me over. Then the shock seeing you in a tiny rig, took some getting use too. 🙂 Your trip to Alaska was amazing and it kept me wanting for your next vid. Now, that you're back in your class A again, it will be fun to see where your adventures take you! Thank you both for keeping it real and positive!
Thank you! That was very kind of you to say and we very much appreciate it. We are definitely class A dp kinda folks. Keeping it real is the only way we know how to be. If you ever get the chance to go to Alaska do it! What a beautiful part of the country. Let's just say all 3 of us are over the moon happy to be back in our class A dp! Have a great weekend!
I so appreciate your honesty. We have not purchased a RV yet. I do not think we could do a class C that small. However you learned from an amazing experience. It has been a joy watching you all. Like you all said, would have been hard to stay in the places you guys did in a large Class A, Served its purpose.
Thank you. We were very fortunate to have such an awesome rig to travel up north in and then to sell it so quickly to a sweet couple. We are truly blessed. Safe travels.
Thank you! We are definitely class A kinda folks.😁 We'll be in AZ this winter so maybe next summer/winter we'll catch up with you guys. Safe travels and have an amazing fall season!
This video is proof that everyone has to find the ideal rig for themselves. That little Class C is my DREAM RIG but I would never travel with something as big as your Class A. 😂😂😂
I totally get it ! My first rv was a class c and I felt the same way. Two months after I bought it I sold it and got an Airstream. By the way, I’m bummed out that I missed getting to meet you guys back in January. I was staying at the Bay Bayou RV Resort in Tampa two rows over from you and didn’t realize it until later when you posted your video ! Ahhhh !! Oh well, perhaps someday we’ll cross paths again. Safe travels my friends, give the doggo a belly rub and a piece of bacon for me !
Didn’t think you would keep the C….. Glad you had a great time in Canada/Alaska! We are looking at doing it in a couple years!! Stay safe, see ya soon!
We have a Newmar class A and love it. Been all over the west side of the U.S. and never had any problems getting into RV campsites. Make sure you have the open roads card for discounts on diesel fuel.
we actually just sold our class a for a smaller tag on trailer......as much as I loved driving the motor-home around, we found it challenging to find decent sites (within Ontario for us), to find sites that allowed us to fit. We have taken the new one out, it is great to fit wherever we want too (and since we did not have a toad, it's nice to have our truck to travel to places we visit). I am sure once we get to the full time stage, I can see us going back to a class a, but for now, this is what we have done. It's different for everyone (needs, wants, etc).......happy to hear you figured it out before selling your class a. Great video! safe travels
Love hearing stories like yours. It's totally different for everyone that's for sure. Glad you found the rig that works for your travel needs. Thanks for watching.😊
LOL!! We knew that was gone as soon as we said goodbye to you. It was cute and served its purpose. I feel like once you go class A well thats it! Always great to sit and watch the two of you together teasing each other. Cant wait for you to see Saturdays video we captured the two of you pretty well. Love ya both looking forward to seeing you on the road again!😊
I agree with you regarding the size and not having a tow vehicle. When my wife and I bought our first Class A we didn’t have a tow vehicle for the first few trips we made and we both said never again. We sold it after one year because we hadn’t retired yet and couldn’t justify having it sit for long periods of time. I retired a couple of years ago and went from the 40ft to 35ft Class A and yes we flat tow a tow vehicle. The smaller floor plan was hard to get use to but with four slides it opens up nicely. We couldn’t do a smaller vehicle after experiencing the larger class A floor plans.
We have part time camped for over 20 years with most every setup out there. I have watched your channel for quite a while now and had the same thoughts as I followed your Alaska trip. I retire 10/25/24 and although we will not be full time, we have some 2-3month trips planned next year. Hoping to grow our youtube channel into something like yours. Maybe see you on the road! Happy Trails!
Thanks so very much for taking the time to watch and leave a comment. Congratulations on your retirement! As they say the best is yet to come! We'll be in AZ this winter. Hopefully we will be able to meet you guys if your in the area. Safe travels and wishing you great success on your UA-cam channel.
Not going to lie, we started following you guys a few months ago and I’m thrilled to see the class a!! As class A RVers we have been looking for a good Class Ala channel!! Can’t wait to see what’s coming.! I told my wife, see, we just need 2 RVs!!!!!
Thank you for taking the time to watch and follow along on our crazy adventures. We are definitely class A people. Welcome! Having 2 rvs is not all it’s cracked up to be!🤣🤣 Safe travels.❤️
I agree with both of those statements. I will never go smaller. Our 32 foot travel trailer is too small for me. I would never have a driveable rig without having a backup vehicle. Can’t do it. Love you guys.
Thanks for the videos in your Trend. We won the sister rig, a Viva 23L and for others who may be watching you actually can tow a Smart Car behind these. We haven’t added one yet, but it’s is an option. Thanks again!
I had to laugh because I had an idea what your never going to do again was. I hate not having our vehicle to drive as well. However, our last trip because of elevation I did not want to tow a vehicle this time. We were able to find a unbelievable deal on a rental for two weeks through Costco. We had a class C with two slide outs but it got crowded fast with 5 people. That is when we stepped up to a class A and have never looked back. I have to side with you, we could not have done a trip like that in our class C. I have to tip the cap to both of you. Continue the good work and we can't wait to see the next adventure.
Nice! Didn't know you could go through Costco for rentals. Totally agree about a class A. Thank you! Soon we will be headed towards AZ for all new adventures!
Advice taken, I'm looking at a diesel pusher, considering a small trailer and side by side or golf cart. After this. Maybe a larger trailer to haul small car and cart.
The first time I saw the smaller rig I knew it wasn't going to work, your class A is "FANTASTIC", keep the videos coming, you two have a positive tude thats "FANTASTIC" !!.....you need a t shirt that says "FANTASTIC"
We had a 2015 Trend like you had and took it to Alaska. We found it too big and under powered. Thankfully it did not have any slide outs to fail. We currently have a Pleasureway Ontour 2.2 that fits our needs much better. No need to level with compressor refrigerator and Lithium batteries. With dual is basically no ccc limitation that hampered us with the tend.
I laughed ! I had suspicions you might not like it😂 I’m 65 and retired trucker of 40 years and we’ve had 6 big class C’s. Not the super C. We ordered our gulfstream 6320 class C loaded in 2021 and love it for all the space plus towing capacity. We tow dolly our front wheel drive car with us.
I have so much to say about this. We traveled for the first six months of our journey in a class c without a tow car. It was miserable. We will never travel without one again. We will eventually downsize our class A to a smaller c, with a tow. It will just be that season of life. Lynn and Danny
Don't get us wrong if we could find a different model that passed a thorough inspection we'd consider it but for now we're very happy keeping the one we have. Totally agree most of the new ones are junk!
Congrats on selling your Class C. I thought at first you were going to say you quit Rving. You scared me. You can’t leave me. The Waggs left and I cried my eyes out. I would cry my eyes out if you left Rv world. But I’m glad you’re not. Ya I would do the same thing if I had a class c have tow vehicle. Same with a class A. Glad you both went on the adventure you did take all of us with you It was fun! I enjoyed it. Looking forward to seeing more adventures. Glad you sold the class C and that was quick too! Hope you have a great week and weekend and see you Saturday. Love you both! ❤❤🤗🥰
LOL! We're not going anywhere. Sorry to see Dustin and Leslie stop rving but totally understand family comes first. We need to make sure we get together this winter while in AZ. Safe travels until next time. Love Ya right back!!
@@oureverydaygetaway Aw thank you! I would love to meet up with you both as well. Let me know when you’ll be here in Vegas and we’ll meet up. See you both soon!
Glad are so honest. I do have bigger class on the ford E450 platform. We are still part time so have got a vehicle set up to tow. I realy see the benefits of a tow. We sometimes just drive 2 vehicles if we are not traveling more that 2 hours and truly see the benefit. But longer trip my wife and i like to drive together. We realy don't like unhooking to go in town. We have levelers a side etc. Thanks for your review and videos. Safe travels.
Thank you, it's the only way to be.😊 We have a trip planned to the eastern shore in a few days and are considering driving our tow separately as well. No need to hookup if only for a few hours. Thanks for taking the time to watch and leave a comment.
Lol....never say never...just sayin 😊 100% agree..ya need a set of wheels not attached to your living space to get around in. We swiped the HDT craz, and we're gonna load a smart car behind the bunk on the truck My beautiful Bride (Wendy) isn't crazy about it, but makes perfect sense for site seeing & grocery getter. Congrats on selling your class C....you know what best for you. Cheers Guys..🥃 🥂 🍹 🍷
The class C was probably easier to get around with/park up in Alaska, but a big change from your class A. Tucker is probably happier in his class A, more room for him to stretch out for comfort. Our Rusty immediately checks out the sofa in a hotel, vacation home, any place we're staying.....he requires a comfy sofa!🤣 Have to keep the pups comfy!🤣 Safe travels!
Our class A seemed HUGE once we got back to MD! Tucker is soooo much happier being in the larger rig. Funny how our pups just want their own space to relax. Being part of our families they need their own space as well.❤ Safe travels to you as well!
I just had a gut feeling that yall would sell the class C and prefer the class A motorhome. I have a class A 35ft. Couldn't imagine going smaller, been there done that. A toad is a must, been there done that to. I love your channel and have really enjoyed following yall on your travels. Hope there are many safe travels in the future. 🎉
Let's just say smaller is not always better. 🤣 But seriously we very much appreciate you taking the time to watch and leave a comment. It really means a lot to both of us. Stay safe and have a wonderful fall camping season.
I love the bobbleheads. but you need one of Tucker too . Put a drink in your hand to stop the one hand moving......nah your Italian.... it wouldn't work and Katrina would be wearing it 🤣🤣
“First Blood” was filmed in Hope BC. If you are a Rambo fan and ever near by, stop and check out Hope. A dying logging town at the time, Rambo saved the town. The crew said we will be making a lot of noise, will need to close streets for extended periods of time and we want to blow up a lot of stuff, even a gas station. Is that ok? The town replied we have 4 or 5 gas stations that have closed, pick the one you want to blow up! The rest is history. I’ll keep my old class C. I’m not into “A”s but I can see why a tow behind is totally necessary. Being an old Class 1 driver (Canada) I would have to go with a fifth wheel pulled by a baby single axle, crew cab Kenworth. That would be fun to tour with. Those big buses just don’t turn and I don’t imagine are too much fun to back up with a tow behind. I started watching your channel because of your Alaska trip. I’ll keep subscribed because i enjoy the 2 of you no matter what you’re driving. Take care. 👍
Rambo was one of Chris's favorite 80's movies. Suck great info. What a very kind thing to say. Thank you! We very much appreciate you taking the time to watch and leave a comment. Safe travels and enjoy journey.😊
Never any doubt the C was going bye bye after the Alaska trip. So glad you will always have a tow from now on so we we travel with you we will be able to mooch tow 😁
Hadn't given it much thought but would be something to talk about. Thanks for the suggestion. We have a live scheduled next Thursday October 24 at 7pm edt. I'm sure it will come up in conversation. Hope to see you there.😊
My wife would LOVE a class A, but I don't like the idea of having to tow a vehicle behind it. Call me crazy, but I would rather keep our 5th wheel trailer and tow it. For your Alaska trip, I think a class C was the way to go. THANKS for another GREAT video
Better the devil you know than the devil you don’t! Yeah, I agree with sticking with stuff that you’ve had for a long time. You certainly know the ins and outs. But the possibility to get some absolute nightmare is just too much.
Congratulations on selling the Class C 🎉🎉🎉 My wife and I part time in our diesel pusher. I couldn't envision not having our car with us. Right now we are on our way back home to Florida after evacuating for hurricane Milton. The RV is at the campground and I am enjoying a very nice mom and pop Italian restaurant for lunch. 😋 So where are you guys off to next?
Hopefully your rig didn't receive any damage from the Hurricanes. That is awesome! Nothing like a good Italian food! Yum!! We leave in a week or so for the beach while attending the OC MD RV show.
Would you do the Alaska trip in your diesel pusher? We have a 39’ Class A and are thinking of going to Alaska in 2026. We just have some concerns about the road conditions and being in a bigger coach.
Knowing what we know now yes. The roads are not bad at all. A few places where you need to go slow and you'll be fine. The only problem you may run into is not being able to boondock in as many places because of your size.
Lol, not surprised the C is gone. If u wanted to change floor plans keep an eye on what comes up for sale vs buying new, n get an inspector u feel confident about. Not a new model an older one, 5+yrs kinda thing. Not being in a rush you just may find the 'one'. 🍻
Your are right on point. We are keeping our eyes open to the possibility of a used model with the floor plan we like. If not we will be happy to keep this one and make some minor alterations.
Our first trip was 4 months in a B+ with no vehicle, second trip was 7 month driving a car separate and now we own a 38 Ft class A with a tow vehicle. It would be hard to go back.
NOTHING IS OVER as John J. Rambo said in First Blood. We knew you were not going to keep the B+ because everybody gets a smaller rig to go to Alaska and get rid of it except The Hanks.
LOL! The only way we would have kept the C is if our A would have sold first. We had them both up for sale. Now that the C's gone we'll keep the A. Looking forward to wintering our west. Fingers crossed you guys make it out that way this winter.
@ we are doing a lot more in the Pacific Northwest so when we go full time in the summer of 2025 our rig is completely packed and hopefully the right way
Nice bit of click bait lol. We are on our fourth RV, so we've done the smaller rigs. But as you spend more time traveling a nicer rig is nice. Good decision. We didn't mind traveling without a tow vehicle for specific locations or trips. But for the most part, and now full time we have the tow vehicle. Never say never...
I wish you wouldn't spend so much time telling what you're going to talking about. Just tell us. You should have a drinking game. Take a shot for ever time you say it's over.
RV life is about adjusting to a different way of living. Good, bad or indifferent, your constantly making changes. Hopefully you can learn from our experiences and make your RV travels better. Leave a comment and tell us what you think.

Congrats on selling the C! It served its purpose for you for sure. I hope Tucker doesn't miss it too much 😄
Thank you! He's already forgotten about it like a bad dream!😂
Totally agree…we have a 35’DP and can’t imagine being comfortable in anything that small…and no toad! I would go insane!
LOL! Let's just say I had to pull Chris off the edge a couple times!🤣
Congrats on selling the class C. We thought you guys would decide to go back to the class A. Safe travels, hope we run into you on the road soon!

Thankfully for me "Katrina" Chris does all the driving. If not for that we wouldn't be in a class A. I have no interest in driving the big rig. 😁
Love this! Your videos are really nice and informative! You guys are lovin the life!❤️

Welcome back to the big rigs. Class C is fine for short trips but as you pointed out it's nice to have a towable for shopping and stuff.
Very true! Happy to be back in our class A!😃
I knew this was coming!! 😂😂 welcome back to the DP.....🎉🎉

Great video and we could never go without a tow vehicle and this just confirmed it! :)
It does make traveling a little more difficult but so worth it when it comes to places you can boondock. 😊
Was a great rig for your Alaska trip. Only thing for me is I don’t want to be tied to the rig for local travel. Once you get to a spot.
Completely understand. That's one reason we couldn't full time in a rig so small.

Thank you, it's the only way to be.😊 We have a trip planned to the eastern shore in a few days and are considering driving our tow separately as well. No need to hookup if only for a few hours. Thanks for taking the time to watch and leave a comment.
Lol....never say never...just sayin 😊
100% agree..ya need a set of wheels not attached to your living space to get around in.
We swiped the HDT craz, and we're gonna load a smart car behind the bunk on the truck
My beautiful Bride (Wendy) isn't crazy about it, but makes perfect sense for site seeing & grocery getter.
Congrats on selling your class C....you know what best for you.
Cheers Guys..🥃 🥂 🍹 🍷
Hopefully Wendy will embrace the smart car. Would have loved a smart car in Alaska. Thank you! Have a great weekend.😊
Hey Friends!! However you decide to RV is awesome!
Hey guys! Thank you so very much!❤️
The class C was probably easier to get around with/park up in Alaska, but a big change from your class A.
Chris was digging himself in deep! 😂 Katrina keep him inline 👦🏼
Always!😁
We are stopping with a fifth wheel we unhook the truck and we can explore the area.
Safe travels
We would consider a fifth wheel as well but don't have a truck. Enjoy traveling in your fifth wheel they have so much room!😊
We missed you guys 😢
Hopefully we’ll catch up this winter while in AZ.😊
It makes sense that you would sell it. You bought it to go to Alaska, and that is over. - Jim & Michelle
Exactly! It was well worth purchasing for the trip.
@@oureverydaygetaway Yes!😃
Not having a tow is a pain! We did it one time.
Probably not the best decision.
I love the bobbleheads. but you need one of Tucker too . Put a drink in your hand to stop the one hand moving......nah your Italian.... it wouldn't work and Katrina would be wearing it 🤣🤣
Thank you! Yes, Tucker will have his own soon. Maybe if he had a drink in each hand!🤣
LOL!! Funny, I've never heard of mooch towing!
You right Katrina you never know
😃
Love the Rambo reference Chris
Thanks! 😁
Are yall going to do a video on what you didn't loke about the smaller RV?
Hadn't given it much thought but would be something to talk about. Thanks for the suggestion. We have a live scheduled next Thursday October 24 at 7pm edt. I'm sure it will come up in conversation. Hope to see you there.😊
My wife would LOVE a class A, but I don't like the idea of having to tow a vehicle behind it. Call me crazy, but I would rather keep our 5th wheel trailer and tow it.
For your Alaska trip, I think a class C was the way to go.
THANKS for another GREAT video
Fair enough! Thanks for coming along!
We have a mini van as a tow.. You can put lots of "stuff" in that badboy. JS. Till cocktails.
Mini van might allow me to make a few more trips to Home Goods. 🤔🤔
@@oureverydaygetaway oh for sure!
The C did it's job. Hope it's New owners have as many memories has you have made in it .
Thank you! Young family looking to make great memoris.
Better the devil you know than the devil you don’t! Yeah, I agree with sticking with stuff that you’ve had for a long time. You certainly know the ins and outs. But the possibility to get some absolute nightmare is just too much.
Buying a new one and finding out it has multiple issues is our biggest fear. You just never know and at this point we don't want to take any chances.
I'm glad you are back in the class A
Thank you! Tuckers much happier with all the space.😊
😂😂😂 dying you guys are so funny!
I "Katrina" don't know about so funny but thank you. 😁 Hope you guys had little to no damage from the hurricane.
@@oureverydaygetaway No damage at all, thankfully...enjoying the beautiful fall weather here now. Keep on making great videos and RV'ing :)
I want to see the new Toad!!!
Do you have a guess as to what we purchased?
@@oureverydaygetaway yup, I know who's the boss and it isn't you! I would say it's a Jeep!
Congratulations on selling the class c. Question were you able to save the stickers in the back .
Unfortunately not. We left the "We The RVers" decal on. Thankfully quite a few people sent us multiple stickers we can use another time.
Totally agree!!
@ we are doing a lot more in the Pacific Northwest so when we go full time in the summer of 2025 our rig is completely packed and hopefully the right way
We like you guys.
Very kind. Thank you.😊
Nice bit of click bait lol. We are on our fourth RV, so we've done the smaller rigs. But as you spend more time traveling a nicer rig is nice. Good decision. We didn't mind traveling without a tow vehicle for specific locations or trips. But for the most part, and now full time we have the tow vehicle. Never say never...
Totally agree about having a larger rig with a tow for Fulltime travel. We had a blast but happy to be back in our class A with a tow.😊
Nah you guys love your class A I agree, the class c served a specific purpose very well. I can’t see you living in anything else
You hit the nail right on the head! We are definitely class A people.😁
I think Phil & Stacy just came to the same conclusion!
LOL!! We'll have to go watch their latest video.😊
next video...Katrina bought a van lol
🤔🤔 Now that's a thought!
We need a toad, don't want to break the bank
So far we've always purchased used and knock on wood have had no major issues with any of our rigs.
It's OVER!!!
And happy about it!😁
@@oureverydaygetaway looked like a great rig to do a Alaska run. Def. would want a tow tho... we get it!
Mooch-travel!
Nothing wrong with that!😁
I wish you wouldn't spend so much time telling what you're going to talking about. Just tell us. You should have a drinking game. Take a shot for ever time you say it's over.
We’ll have to speed that up going forward. The drinking game might just be a good idea!🤪
TL;DW; Get to the dang point.
Sorry, I thought we did.
