Sadly they just started a new requirement that we don’t get to choose our own site anymore at Blue Mesa. Bought my adventure package there in 2022 and spent my last two summers there.

If your still at the KOA, I think there is a little cafe and bar up near the entrance and another one down the street. Enjoy the Quartzite Show, we were impressed with it.... Really... You couldn't make a bloody Mary with that sandwich! Enjoy the desert bar! But you should have taken the long jeep trail out not the highway.

We have a double sandwich maker just like that. We bought it 10 years ago when we full timed. Wrap the sandwich in foil then of to adventures.

Looked like a great time! I bet that jeep need a good cleaning on the inside after that ride! And you got the sandwich maker!!! I’ve been wanting to get that! Can you use regular bread in it if you cut it in a circle?

I bounced my way up to the Desert Bar. I mean a really rough road. Almost as rough as I-40 through New Mexico. Good food, good music, and a fun place. I recommend the garlic fries.

Chris was that your cooking segment on the egg mcmuffin? That looked good too! Was it better than McDonald’s? McMuffin maker was pretty cute. Looked easy to do. Makes me wanna get one and make my own egg. McMuffin and I know egg McMuffins are expensive anymore. Looks like the KOA Park is very nice. It’s cute seeing that a bar is out in the desert like that it’s pretty cute. I’ve never heard of it. Is the food good? I laughed so hard at you and Jason Chris talking on the walkie-talkies. I would have absolutely loved going to that bar. So far we have only stayed in the East. The furthest West we have been is Galveston Texas and Cheyenne Wyoming.

First things first - those boards were not of equal quality therefore we would not have played 😂. Looked like a lot of fun to watch though! I'm telling ya Chris, ESPN should be calling you to cover cornhole tournaments 😊. Fun video- thanks for sharing! .

I have one that makes two at once

We were in Quartzsite during the big tent show. Glad you visited our state. 🙂But we're exactly the opposite of you two. Originally from Michigan and having seen most of the states in the East, including Florida (where my twin sisters once lived) but living in the Phoenix area (Scottsdale) since '75, we've always thought the West was best. We hate humidity and bugs. And love wide open spaces. Also, unlike you, we are NOT beach and sun people. After thousands of clear, hot, sunny days here in the desert, we just love a nice cloudy day, especially if it includes rain (only rained a few drops a few days ago, first since August). And we'll take mountains any day, over the beach, although we do like the boardwalk in San Diego in the summer. Even though we're different than you, we love your channel though. This is America, where we all get to be different. 🙂 Never been to that bar, even after all these decades. I guess we need to get there at least once.

Can't believe you don't have a toaster that is almost un civilized. That and a hot pot and a air fryer. That sandwich machine is intersting. Have you tried it with sausage patties or thick sliced bacon? That bar is great. We have been to the Q several times. The last time we stayed at Hassler's RV Park because (it was summer) we wanted full hook ups. In season it is much nicer and more conducive to dry camping.

We had such a blast on the jeep ride. Need to do more.

This was a great video! Chris did great with his egg McMuffin! A “cooking together” segment would be fun! The dessert bar looked like a fun time - lots of interesting characters in these kinds of places. Safe travels.

I wore double and triple layers while we were in Q , the 2 weekswe were there. From Oregon and thought it would be warmer. :) It was windy. First time Q for us. Enjoyed
