@@Apollo-ds9gu Really? In my entire life. I've never had any console. Just PC. So far, I already played like almost every type of games either it's racing, rpg, open world, br and such. Still 100% no problem to me. There's a game where the keybinds are weird af but all you had to do is just remapping it and you good to go. I've tried playing console once when I visited my friend a couple of month ago and my experience with playing games especially a shooter game is not a fun experience for me.

The problem is the inhuman reaction when you're in a strafe battle. Humans can't react that fast so up close a controller wins 100% of the time if two are the same skill level.

Cs go is that one game in which, at first, it's hard as hell to get used to the recoil of the weapons, but after you get used to it,it becomes more and more easier to shoot basically any weapon that has a big recoil in every other game

I grew up on console I was like 14 when we got a good PC at home. Later on I remember cracking up when I figured out how people shoot on PC. “ so you just click on the target?!?” 😂
Yes and no you'd be surprised how many people play on an unnatural mouse speed either too slow or too fast that doesn't actually match what they have been using on windows for years so it feels like your always making micro adjustments.
On the flip side of the the coin when you have a mouse speed that your brain comprehends quickly on your mouse hand it feels like your hand is the cursor on the screen and its incredibly fluid.
But fuck me the amount of cod kids coming from consol to max mouse speed thinking its the answer cause they play on max speed on controller they the ones who complain they can't aim

To be fair, the muscle movement is still harder to learn if you don't play games on pc, most applications and work programs don't require as much accuracy, as you can always re-click if you miss your mark. When you're playing an FPS you can't re-click, because either 1. You are now low on ammo for missing, or 2. You're dead because the other person has played alot of pc games.

It's always about how mnk takes a ton of effort to aim, while console "does it for you" but I've never seen a person who makes this kind of argument actually do good on controller (except with certain guns on destiny, in which case, yeah. Its true. Looking at you last word)
@@GumpierGoat2 literally mnk takes less than a week to get good at imo, i mean I can pick it up anytime and get good at the spot, its all about how much the vertical and horizontal speed are set at and how u move. But controller on the other hand is way harder just for the fact that youre not using your whole hand, youre just using your thumb which literally is something u dont do on a daily, which makes it harder to aim and control recoil and side sway, and also not to mention the reaction time from your pointer finger and your thumb aren't even the same

For example you are holding a door the enemy runs in the ai will tug towards the enemy if you have decent reaction time you can kill based off the initial tug. And before you say go test it i have and ive also seen in tournaments.

No, I am not a controller player. If your aim is trash, get better, don’t blame someone else for having aim assist.
I trained my aim through kovaaks and my aim is very good. But in certain cases where aim assist hits and tracks players is very annoying and bullshit. I had to MANUALLY do the work while the controller does 80% of the work for them is what’s unfair.

I would argue that keyboard+mouse takes the same amount of skill to aim as a controller.
Since you use keyboard and mouse for everyday tasks not just for gaming - people are better at aiming than on mouse and keyboard than on a controller since they're more used to using keys and mouse.
If everyone used controller for opening youtube, writing emails, doing online work aswell as gaming - keyboard players would have aim assist.
Both controller and keyboard equally take as much skill to learn how to use. And this is why controller players have aim assist and keyboard players don't.

As someone who plays with both, controller is so much easier if you're a casual. But once your better PC is better. You say you use a stick but that's why you play with a higher sensitivity on pad. It's not like if you aim too far you don't snap 10 degrees back onto the player anyway

PC players are better with landing the first bullet but controlling the spray on moving targets that are jumping around is 100x easier on controller. Games like Squad, Hell let loose, and Battlefield all are games that will favor PC.

Mouse n key is incredibly precise. So precise that I only ever game on mnk for FPS games. Where reaction is rewarded over skill for a large part.
Now if we say, PC has the highest skill gap what are we basing it on? Is it because it's easy? If it's easier, would that make the game harder or not?
Basically what I'm getting at is its just, in its simplest form, a language. We just play games and everyone speaks their own language.
Do I think a lot of pc players can outplay console players? Sure. But the opposite is just as likely.
In fact, does being outplayed outplayed on console determine your skill ceiling? It's a never ending question.
But one thing is for sure, we all love games. I'm 6'8, and game for a part of life. I personally lean on the console side because of one thing. HALO
That's series set a map for not only consoles, but how games should be written, created and designed. Bungie, a small developer then. Basically paved the road for Xbox and Playstaytion, without Bungie fps games could have easily struggled to achieve an obvious skill.
@@callumclarke9384 with apex it’s never a fair estimation, because MK is absolutely just outright better. I literally went up over a full rank and a half in more than one game after switching in less than a month, despite never playing mk before and playing console for hours on end every week for 14+ years.. Not only is there no recoil even honestly without hardly any effort or skill, but with apex there’s so many things you just literally CANNOT do on controller than make a huge difference. It’s not even close, controller is easier but has a much much much lower ceiling bc there’s things you literally cannot do, whereas mk is more skill but also less skill lmao, it’s so free after like 2 weeks of learning it. Controller isn’t slide jumping at an angle mid fight and shield swapping a box while doing all of that and the full 180 turning on someone. It just isn’t gonna happen because IT CANT. Mk is free, I say as a mk player all the time on almost everything I play now.

@@ozymando5459 no it's just that he has literally has all the best condition possible for his "in game simulation" which is absolutely not realistic, you don't fight against afk people with the best geared weapon in real life, yes it's easy to aim in these condition but in many in game situations a controller player with not much skill will almost always win against a keyboard player with not much skill too, aim assist favors a lot controller for low rank players and when you start the game it's not my favourite thing to get absolutely destroyed by someone who isn't supposed to be "this good" and fights are less fair, after some hundreds hours I when I really started to become good with mouse and keyboard I would say controller is at the same level and in lots of cases disadvantaged with tap strafe and maybe super jump but it's less used. People cry on aim assist cause it gives you additional skill that new pc player can't have I think (I'm not trying to shit on them I know the game would be unplayable on controller if there was no aim assist)

However I do agree that controllers are better for sports or some racing games, mostly because a keyboard can’t tell how much pressure you’re putting on the key, if you wanted to slowly hold down a button you would just have to tap it really fast instead. On Forza Horizon 5 this literally makes some cars impossible to drive without losing traction.

Controller certainly are not as optimized for fps as mouse, that’s a fact, there wouldn’t be anything such as aim assist if it was not the case.
In the same way, some games are majorly played with controllers at pro level, because it is optimized for them. Fighting and driving games are good examples.

Guys its simple, we have ez recoil control and long range but tracking takes *forever* to get controller level at. Controller on the other hand is worse at long range but is OP at close and medium.
The thing is... Apex is a close range and medium range dominated game which in turn favors controller. *(It's facts)* not my opinion

Aim assist in apex makes you track a target automatically to a certain degree once you somewhat enter the AA zone with your crosshair. So considering Aim Assist does not behave like in Halo where Bullets will home into an enemy but instead your view locks onto a target. i fail to see what this clown is trying to demonstrate shooting stationary targets on MnKB

I’ve played both, and I can say it’s a lot easier tracking someone down when you can move your whole arm to aim, than just your thumb. A lot easier.

But I am a console player and I don't care for what he says bc he says it as if console player only rely on aim assist even though it is a toggle able feature which some of us (like me) turn off (mainly bc overwatch does it automatically if you enter the PC pools)

It's been proven multiple times in multiple different ways that mnk is easier to control than controller. A simple fact that proves this, is you use more muscles in your arm wrist and hand to control a mouse which gives more control and movement. Compare that movement to a single thumb. If that doesn't open your eyes to the difference and how one is easier than the other, than I guess ya gotta be extremely hard headed. I'm a PC player and even I admit mnk is Hella easy in comparison to controller. The exception being driving games. Driving games are way better on controller.

Stationary Targets; For Example on Apex PC, you can jump into a slide(increased momentum), up into a wall bounce over the wall by holding said direction on the keyboard that the wall is on. And if you don't perform that correctly you can super glide off the wall when you climb it. So again stationary targets stop being a thing outside gold lobbies.

As someone who’s used both for most of their life theirs no hot takes like M&K is way better then controller so aim assist was made so they can easily actually hit stuff it’s easier but still requires practice to get good with both maybe not as much but still requires skill
I swapped to pc within the last year and only started using m&k within the past few months and me and my friend being the resident tryhards of the group we would 1v1 alot. Now just to make it fair I have to plug my controller in. He still runs lobbies like always but not when I'm with him anymore.

This is more recoil control than initial aim. The process is to hit the target and control recoil while continuously hitting a stationary or tracking a moving target.

Recoil control is about the same on both pc and console. It’s not like aim assist helps with recoil on Xbox

I never used a KnM until 3 months ago. I also used a controller because I grew up playing on consoles so when I switched to KnM I had issues and still have issues with wasd movement and finding the right buttons on the keyboard for other functions. It's more than just aiming.

I've played on Controller all life. Over the past 3 months I've switched to mouse and oh my God the difference in aiming using your whole arm and hand compared to just your thumb is insane. You can not only aim better but turn so much better like full 180 snap on someone and melt them with a mouse.
