If you said $9,995.00 maxed out with everything we need... well I still wouldn't be sticker shocked... but at $5,500.00 well thats a fabulous introductory price to get the units moving and out in the field were everyone can see how all of this can be taken to the next level. I can see longer dual sluice boxes side by side and a wider top box to feed the two boxes with a mini- trackhoe! Woo hoo! A wider top box to accommodate loading from a mini trackhoe or bobcat with a very small proper sized front end bucket. ...and you would need a grizzly and hopper above your top shaker box to auto feed your top box. So how do we know our dirt is feasable to work... well... I have a wooden box that is exactly a 1/2 cubic foot. (adapted from Jim Strait who used a full sized 1 cubic foot box). So 1 cubic yard is 3x3x3 feet or 27 cubic feet or in my case 54 - 1/2 cubic foot boxes. So my box is 1/54th of a cubic yard. So I can use my box to measure the size of the bucket on the loader or the size of a 5 gallon bucket 1/2 full. Say the bucket on the mini-trackhoe is 1/4 cubic yard. ... and I make on average 25 loads into the goldrattler every hour for 8 hours per day. 25 x 8 x .25 or 50 yard in 8 hours plus 2 hours for clean up ect. ...and we are crazy lucky and we are averaging. .75 grams of 90 proof gold. 25x8x.25 x.75 x .9 = 33.75 grams. Then we buy a light plant and run two shifts... 67.25 grams/ day rounded down to 2 ounces per day. ...at $3,000.00 per ounce times 6 days/week or $36,000.00/ week. x4 = $144,000.00/ month. At about month 3... we add a second gold rattler with longer dual sluice boxes and your power auger and a deep rock drilling rig to see if we can stay in ground at or above .75 grams as long as possible. After we are running 6 Hitachi EX 8000 power shovels 24/7 365... well you tell me... because each scoop is 54 cubic yards and a we make a scoop onto a conveyer hopper every two minutes. We need a way to clean out the sluce box into a secure lock box via a wet vaccum system where we turn off the vibration on the sluice boxes for only a few minutes. ...and we need a small gas or electric power washer to clean the shaker screen. ... and a second water storage tank to transfer water into.

This design operates very well at this scale. Creating a multi 3-unit machine with feeder hopper/conveyor and substantially larger tanks, it would be an ideal setup for medium-sized operation. That's what I'm thinking for the future ! Another aspect will be the "River Rattler" designed to meet CA water standards. I would focus on how much gold you get in a single day and how much gold you get in a week vs how much it cost to get it each day and each week.
My father was a geological engineer of great accomplishment. Oil and gas move up in the subsurface until they trap... precious metals move down in the subsurface until they trap. So we are looking for those traps. Clay base, a shale barrier, faulting, ect. For gold we are looking for fluid moving re-depositions where gold is concentrated from its origional upward intrusive push toward the surface of the earth. Water and weathering over time move the gold basinward from the higher elevations into re-worked commercially viable gold deposits. ... and or the gold could have just pushed upward from directly under your feet which is also great! In your location with excellent surface gold indication... the hope is that the gold is also gona be at depth under your feet to several hundred feet.

So, my next video will involve production in relation to time on how the Gold Rattler will eventually pay for itself. I'm sure many folks look at the price and shy away because they haven't rationalized the value in terms of gold production. The old dry washer tailings on my claim run .7 grams/yd. The virgin ground runs about 1.2 grams/yd. Running just a couple yards a day, it will pay for itself in just a few weeks. Yeah, that bucket trommel turned into quite a popular topic. I've had dozens of folks make on from my plans. Some do it as a winter project build. I simply did this for fun, thinking only a handful of people would see it, but it certainly when viral. @@50Quid-d3x That's an amazing story about your father. Sounds like some of it rubbed off on you ! It would make sense to discover gold deposits within strata. I thought about that while driving through Texas last April. ASARCO drilled several exploratory holes in my area. Their report indicated there are three layers of gold deposits, with the surface being the richest. The other two layers were too low grade. They also determined that the gold was too spotty for a large-scale operation, and thus abandoned the search. On my claim there are three large pits excavated by miners in the 1960's. You can easily see the layers. I took multiple samples and only found a couple specks. I kind have drawn the same conclusion.
Last year you cleaned off the colechey bedrock have you thought of stamp milling that hatder material i wonder what may be in it or underneatith it you'll never know if you don't try?

I also recommend purchasing a small dry washer that's easy to carry for prospecting. Once you've located a place with good gold potential, then bring in the Gold Rattler for maximum recovery. Absolutely. I have a customer who's developing a solar generator system for it. Realistically, a 500 gallon tank at the Mine site would last a long time. 👍

You could, however, there engineering problems. In order to build a double deck with top deck at 150 mesh, and lower deck at 400 mesh (as an example) it would weigh twice as much, thus requiring vibrators 9x more powerful to shake both decks, causing the design height of the plant to increase 15 inches, making it very impractical to feed by hand. Therefore, you would need a conveyor feeder at about $3k each. You will need a larger generator because the larger vibrator motors are now 220 volt 3 phase. Finally, a 400 mesh screen is fragile and requires additional maintenance. Like anything involving engineering, there are compromises, and the laws of physics have to be maintained. It can be done, but at what costs, and ia the unit no longer as portable ?

That's what the dewatering deck is all about. It's much simpler and cheaper than building a centrifuge.

You could, however, there engineering problems. In order to build a double deck with top deck at 150 mesh, and lower deck at 400 mesh (as an example) it would weigh twice as much, thus requiring vibrators 9x more powerful to shake both decks, causing the design height of the plant to increase 15 inches, making it very impractical to feed by hand. Therefore, you would need a conveyor feeder at about $3k each. You will need a larger generator because the larger vibrator motors are now 220 volt 3 phase. Finally, a 400 mesh screen is fragile and requires additional maintenance. Like anything involving engineering, there are compromises, and the laws of physics have to be maintained. It can be done, but at what costs, and ia the unit no longer as portable ?

Thanks for the great comments, Roger ! We did sided by side comparison with Hog, Dream, Standard Hungarian riffles, and the Pickle Puss mat through an A52 river sluice. The Pickle Puss mat, which is in the Gold Rattler, blew them all away. If you watch my original Gold Rattler video of May 2022, I physically demonstrate it's high efficiency.
