  • Having an appointment scheduler on your website is a pretty common function these days. It is used to book coaching calls, "discovery calls" and a number of other things. I myself use one for members and clients to book strategy calls.
I recently switched from Calendly to Simply Schedule Appointments, for Wordpress. What really got my attention is the integration with WP Fusion. This enables a LOT of power and flexibility using marketing automation.

That's a great in-depth review and much appreciated. Does it integrate with Google Meets?

I see on the vendor site it uses a Name field, mandatory, unmodifiable. I absolutely insist on separate firstname and lastname fields, and separate salutations. How would it handle passing Dr Michel van den Bergh to a crm?

You are correct. It hasn't been any issue for me, but perhaps this is something you would need to ask them about, or send in a feature request.

Is there a way to make the schedule appointment a pop up window??

Never tried it, but I would think you could do it. Use put the scheduler block into a popup. Could use Kadence Conversions, Elementor popups, etc. Then, just trigger the popup with a button click. I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work.

??? It doesn't send the appointment time? That seems like a HUGE omission. I can't think of a way around it. It feels like that disables the ability to rely on a crm to send confirmation emails and reminders to the person.

SSA does send it's own emails, though. And they work fine. You can use the CRM for other things. I agree, tho, it should by a syncable field.

Would I be able to use this with FluentCRM but without WPFusion (at $247 for a single site, with the Canadian exchange rate, that's $337)?
