Some of the links above are affiliate links, which means that I earn a commission when you make a purchase via my link. Thanks a lot if you decide to do that! I couldn't make all these videos without it. - Навчання та стиль
I have watched so many videos trying to make my first website. But I think I finally found a great teacher. Thank you for explaining the little things and why things appear they way they do. This stuff is not intuitive and you do a great job connecting the dots. I’m going to watch all your videos and probably start designing a much better site all over again.
Rino, I can't express myself enough to thank you! You have saved me a great deal of time! I followed your instructions and voila, in less than 10 mins I got my site in another language! Polylang is so powerful, based on your info, I have also duplicated the templates, including popups, I have some CSS code for the popup, I was truly surprised that I don't even have to amend the codes, the pages executed the code regardless of which language! Once again a big thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Exactly what I needed for my first Elementor project. Thanks a lot for your great work.
Well done, don't delay with my question about Polylang.
Specifically, I had a problem with translating a slider into a header part, but I solved the problem. (I also use Elementor Pro)
I was pleased to see that you released the video after my inquiry.
Thank you, you are gaining another faithful follower!
when I search for a problem solution or tutorial you're always the best choice
I was just about to do it in a week or so, but had no clue how. I love your timing!:)
This is something I do a lot. For simple sites this works as does WPML. Other tactics I use is to duplicate each page if its a small site so each language can have its own design. I also have a dual language directory site. For that I am using multi sites, as having each site separate is just easier to manage.
Omggg I've been meaning to look into this for so long! Thanks as always!
This is by far the greatest Polylang tutorial I've discovered! I wish Polylang took this time to create as good a tutorial as you have - honestly!
I had no idea that Polylang creates dbls for each page if applied from the start of a project and not when main language is finished as you mention!
Do you think if I deleted the plugin (for this main reason) and re-install it after I'm done with my main language will do any harm at this point? I've taken back ups and exported the cool Header I created with Language switchers just in case!
Thanks again!!!
Instead of /en/home-en/, I used /en/welcome/, which I thought looked a bit nicer.
Thank you for an amazing tutorial!
I'm yet to find a better Polylang tutorial, thanks a million!
Wow! I was literally thinking about it today. As I need to make 2 lang website. That's just my lucky day :D
Thank you!!!! After watching this I finally feel that I can gather the courage to start translating my webpage :D
This tutorial is very helpful for me. Thank you so much Rino.
I'm sure I've left a comment here in the past. Had to watch your video again as a recap. Its EXCELLENT IN EVERY WAY!
Thanks again!
Your channel is a gift for those who are trying to build their websites! Amazing work, thank you so much! You should set up a donate function so we can all chip in for your work.
Unique page naming withing subfolder are a drag but this is what I was looking for. Though work is extended and need a clear understanding before you indulge in a real project, this will solve most of auto-translate issues. Each region in Gulf has different translation for same word. Gulf clients still hates incorrect auto-translation. Good work.
I'm beginning to think you can read my mind.... I was thinking about this yesterday
Lol, love it
@@rinodeboer can you create a tutorial where you explain how to create a subdomain for mobile devices and how to direct the requests that come from mobile phones, etc. directly there?
Agree, thought of this rn, that's why Im here lmao
He can read your mind
And he knows your story
You don't know what to say
Yeah
Loved it!!! Really great tutorial!! It works perfectly and it's done so easily 🙌Thank you so much!! 🙏🙏

This is perfect! Thank you so so much!
Hey Rino, thanks for your new video. For me also at the right time as I am struggling on my first website project with that multilingual topic right now. Polylang seems to go a slightly different way as it creates duplicates of your posts/pages/content. That is something that I usually don't want, because as you said at the beginning layout changes have to be done in each single language copy again, so better do translation at the end. But of course a site will change over time and then you have to repeat the changes in each added language, even if its just a layout change. The only benefit I see is that you are able to choose a new title, which then also results in a translated URL (when you have permalinks with page titles). This is something I really want, as its important for SEO.
What I see/understood from other plugins like WPML or Translatepress they don't create a copy for each post/page/content element, they simply create translations for all the included texts (Strings). So a plus for that BUT non of them offers changing page title for a translation in the free versions (if there is any free version). This seems to be everywhere a pro/paid extra feature.
So for my project I have now to decide whether I use your proposed way via Polylang and copies or pay for example for WPML the smalltest blog plan (Jan 2021 its 29 USD for first year and 21 for a renewal year). Translatepress is out as the cheapest plan starts with 79€/year, just to have this little extra (SEO Addon pack), thats too much. WPML would cost ~2€/month. Meanwhile all seem to be very well working together with Elementor Pro. So its really just the price.
But maybe you know another plugin which I didn't found so far. Do you?
Thanks for all the great videos. Greetings from Berlin ;)
I really appreciate for your videos. Please Keep up your works!

Very helpful! saved me some time, Subbed great content
Thank you! just what I was looking for!
Thank you! Polylang is much better than the other multi-language plugins! What are you doing with the translated pages when you are editing the layout or design of your pages? Do we need to manually edit each version or is there some more efficient workflow for that?
Did you happen to find a more efficient way? I'm stuck with manual editing XD
Thank you for this tutorial! Great work!
Thank you so much for this great video. It really helped with this first use of this plugin.

Thank you so much! It helped me a lot. I absolutely love your tutorials. At the moment I am looking for a cute way to design a client log in with limited access to various contents...is there any existing tutorial from you already for that topic?

Hello Rhino. Nice video! So I have a question. If you are using crocoblock for posts (ie, recipes) and the templates are almost full dynamic. How can I manually add/correct the second language input?

Cheers from Oslo, Norway!
Hi Irene, I have trouble translating my blogsite. Do you have an idea what my issue could be? This is what I commented on this thread before:
"Katja Deborah
Thanks for this video, great help! I have one problem left though: My blog page is disappeared since Polylang. When I had the blog page in the second language, it would at least show then but in the original language it just shows an empty page. Does anyone know what I'm talking about and how to fix this"
That’s why i fucking love you, just this morning (in Italy now it’s 10pm) “oh shit i should translate my website to multiple languages” and there you are.❤️
Haha awesome 😎

Thank you so much! This is a great tutorial, however I couldn't make it work on the footer, do you have a detailed video about the footer multi-language setup? Would be highly appreciated..
Thanks for the video I am really looking for this video. Learning lot of things from you. Love from Bangladesh.
waiting for your next video.
Thank you. Very clear
when it needed you uploaded
As usual, a great tutorial, thank you Rino. A question: how do you deal with setting the typography when you have both languages appear on the same page? specifically with RTL and LTR at the same time. This, of course, requires different fonts for H1, H2, ...., Body, Botton, etc. Is tweaking CSS is a must in this case or there are easier ways?
did you find a way ? ı need that :((
@@tasarm4939 I guess no replies at all - it would be great!
Great tutorial for polylang just what i needed, thanks! And in general you tutorials are first class. Do have a question regarding polylang using for my elementor made blog/website. Trying to figure it out myself but my header and footer are made with the astra theme so not with elementor. Will the change automatically when i make my other language menu?
