- The ALL NEW S Class is here and Mercedes Benz wanted to raise the level of the luxury sedan for 2021. On the outside you will new sheet metal grill, and wheels. On the inside you will be greeted by leather seats, updated infotainment system and 12in digital gauge cluster. Under the hood of the MB S 580 is a 4.0L twin turbo V6 that pumps out 496HP & is mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission. Power is sent to the ground through the 4MATIC AWD system. Off warranty? You keep your Mercedes that long? I'm half joking. We have one of ours that is off warranty and I can honestly say that other than scheduled maintenance or the occasional nail in the tire, we have no problems with it.
Off warranty = Endless Money Pit.
I think this Benz IS worth the price, I was guessing it was going to cost a lot more. Smooth as silk and quiet inside the vehicle. Love those 21' rims! I think you like it as well! Great review!

Love it when his examples are spot on!!! Nice job Joe!!!! Yep the wheels do look very similar to the 1998 CLK GTR. I remember seeing this car and driving it....well really I should say while playing through a game console. That game that introduced this car to me was Need For Speed 2 Hot Pursuit! Even through computer graphics it was a very sweet ride!

I’ve had my 21 S580 for two weeks now and absolutely love it. It’s worth every dime. The best or noting.
They really are worth every dime. Mom leased one in July - she leases every 3 years.
Mine has been getting "repaired" for the last 2 weeks…(bad thermostat and coolant leak)…so I am NOT happy

@@T1ny_J1mmy well leases are 36 months. And that’s when the bumper to bumper warranty ends. I sold cars for 5 years, leases are always offered at 3 years, and either 36k or 45k miles.

Aside from all of the other wonderful interior amenities, my one major demand, like you, Joe, is that my trunk is roomy enough for my butler! I want him to be comfortable, so I may have to throw in a couple of throw pillows. 😉

Great review! I don't like the Tesla like approach to the displays and controls that Mercedes seems to have embraced. This is actually pushing me towards BMW and Cadillac with the preferred hard buttons switches and dials. I know, it's all preferences. But I like things I can feel, not have to look at when I'm driving.

Despite a lot of high technology and styling tweaks like hidden door handles, I think the S-Class will always be perceived as "an old man's car"

Alex when I talk about Mercedes I I'm taking about S CLASS, any one can afford a dam c class, like I said people with real money don't give dam about repair cost you know NEW under warranty if you had new Mercedes money you would have bought S CLASS you have lexus money so please don't buy c class you can't afford it, yes they will break do you know who had the car first was it properly maintained? And I was responding to old man car so if you have gone and bought a lemon 🍋, keep it too your self because I don't know a dam thing about a c class. SSSS CLASS.

Way out of my price range, but the elegance! The class! Such a benchmark, inside and out. The infotainment system is a bit much, but I can tell the designers made it very intuitive, so I’m sure the size of it isn’t an issue during day to day usage.

@@FateofDeath_ C-Class is definitely sexy. And closer to the dimension size I prefer (and budget too). I never really considered Mercedes. For years, my eyes were always glued to BMW and Audi. Not anymore!
