You might find some rubber bands to be handy. Couple slim ones, couple thicker ones. If you encounter a screw that is stripping out, a rubber band can help your bit to grip into it.
for cables i'd consider the rolling square incharge xl. all combinations of charging you could need in a single cable. only downside is if you are charging multiple things at once you'd only have the single cable if you carried only that.
Loick picks, piece of shrink tube, hotglue stick, zippties, eaerplugs are some things that I carry and use regular. I have this thing where if I need something once and don't have it I'll put it in the pouch and then if I do not need it again for a few months I'd get rid of it or relocate it. Also there are some pretty sweet Q tips that have either iodine or alchohol in them great for cleaning or disinfecting stuff.
Love you chanel and content. I would personaly replace the Neiko with Topeak mini ratchet with in-line 1/4 driver (28 grams) or if you dont mind the weight swivel head Ikon/Facom ratchet(68g) for longer reach combined with leatherman extension and add a small Fiskars folding pocket scissors(15g).
I like a few pieces of heat shrink tubing and a small hot melt glue stick both can be used with the lighter. I like the glue stick in place of Sugru (a lot of folks carry) as it dries out over time.
Zip ties. They take up no room and come in very handy. We were camping in Mongolia when a rare rain storm hit. The guide turned on the wipers of the van and the driver's side wiper promptly came apart. Zip ties to the rescue. Don't leave home without them.
Great video. As a personal taste, I would switch the QSP Penguin for a Leatherman Crater C33 with bottle opener and carabiner (Very light weight and you can clip it anywhere). Also, for a flashlight, the RovyVon 4th Aurora A8 is lighter, has a warm wide area light and has more features than the Olight. Adding a long thin cord to your kit, comes handy to dry up clothes in hotel rooms. For your first aid kit, add a small Neosporin antibiotic ointment.
Since you already have a knife in there I would add a Swisscard nailcare edition. Very light and slim, adds scissors, magnifying glass, glass nail file, ruler and a few other things. Also, if you don’t mind the weight and size I would add the smallest needle nose Vice Grip locking pliers. If you are repairing or tightening something single handed they are very useful for locking on nuts or other things on the backside of whatever you are adjusting, even if you can’t really see the nut or can barely reach it. You can lock them on sideways for greater purchase or lock the nut in the tip if you only have a fraction of an inch space around it.
You won’t regret it. Super high quality pouch. I’m loving mine. PS hope you used my discount code. Cheaper for you and I get a small kick back which helps fund the channel.
i'd strongly recommend getting a 3 in 1 micro usb, usb c, and lightning cable rather than each individual one, I carry around a similar battery bank and just have that with me at all time, saves the effort and space of switching between the three
Great selection of items. I would add my little folding Fiskars because I need scissors. I would swap out the Zippo for a Bic lighter because that is TSA approved, but check the regulations wherever you are located
Some small cable ties fed into the case piping for storage. Depends a bit on case type (eg it works OK with MaxPedition EDC versions). Some pins and safety pins, also can be parked on the piping. Lastly a small stick of "hot glue" to use with your lighter. Travel safely :-)
Love a good pouch video. Nice selection of gear :) No zip ties? I find a piece of heat shrink tubing is really good to keep 4-5 of them nice and tight together. Enjoy your trips, stay safe.
Im not sure but some airports do not allow any Blue flame cigarette/ cigar lighters on the plane anywhere either carry on or checked in. I normally just buy a dispoable bic lighter at my destination.
I am making a stationary EDC Altoids kit. Please suggest - 1) Compact slim stapler 2) Transparent small tape which won't require scissors to cut it 3) Liquid glue or compact glue stick which can be used repeatedly
Hi Marcus, I came by chance on your videos and have now watched all. Super work what you do. Is exactly my taste. Keep it up! Greetings from Franconia / Germany Marcus
Awesome, thank you! Glad you like the channel. It’s a work in progress. Will try to keep up-leveling the content as I go. I have a video editor now so should help me produce one video a week from now on.
@@MarcusCreates I'd love to! I like the videos and the editing so much. But more content is great, of course, and I'm looking forward to seeing what else you come up with. Good luck for the future!
Love these videos, mate. I used to carry 3 different charging cables too but have swapped for the InChargeX by Rolling Square. It's like 6 cables in 1 and is super neat and tidy. I'm going to look into those Knipex pliers. I have some Teng mini mole grips just now but they don't open as wide. Keep up the great videos and have a great trip. I'm also a Dad to 2 young girls and would be interested to see your suggestions regarding EDC items that you might carry for kids.
I’d probably recommend the kable card for your tech issues. Multiple adapters for USB, wireless charging, memory storage, etc. It’s definitely part of my everyday EDC.
@@MarcusCreates hope they do! I would be interested in your thoughts. It feels a little gimmicky but it’s the convenience factor for when you really need each item. Plus, it’s so compact!
Glad to see someone using this edc pouch as well. Inspiring, thank you! No ego clashing, just wondering: did my edc kit video inspire your kit as well?! Haha Cheers!
Great go-pouch and a great video! I like the pouch itself a lot! The only other thing I might suggest is bit of Kevlar cordage. You can get 50lb line that's great for sewing heavy duty material (like a camera strap, suitcase, or coat), securing and as cordage in general, and 20ft of it can wind around a needle or bread tie to take up barely more room than a matchstick.
Marbles makes this cool little Spork that doubles as a can opener and bottle opener. Its from AtlanticKnife Company. Its just under 4 inches (10 cm) and is actually more of a spoon. Also some kind of compact ruler comes in real handy. Great video and HandBuilt Show in Austin is pretty cool. Q tips and those plastic floss picks are very useful after some jerky or popcorn gets stuck in teeth
Thanks for the advice. Will look up the Marbles spork for the next trip for sure. I use a pretty great, light, titanium one at the moment but didn’t have it packed in this video. Austin Handbuilt show was epic. 💯 going back next year.
Great video. First time seeing one of your videos and subbed. Looking forward to some more. Two other things I carry in my pouch are painkillers and antibacterial wipes. Both have come in super handy on a number of occasions, both for myself and others
Thanks, will do! This pouch was sent to me by the manufacturer and I've been testing it out this past month. It's really great and for now I think it better than my Maxpedition.
I'd be interested to know if you get any use from the knipex pliers or the pry bar as a follow up. They're very cool but im not sure about their usefullness
Hey Marcus, absolutely phenomenal video. Love your filming style. Got yourself another subscriber 😊. I'm a big fan of the peak design tech pouch for my travel kit. Your video has given me a few new ideas to up my game.
Great Video, definitely earned a Like and Sub! I've been trying to figure out what all i want to carry and was wondering if you have ever had experience with the KeySmart Nano Pliers? I don't use pliers enough to justify something like the Knipex, I'd possibly go for a small Leatherman.
Nice pouch but do you carry the pouch around with you or do you leave it in the car? Also would be nice if someone made a video of an edc for your car.
I bring drugs. 2-4 painkillers, a couple of antihistamines, some Imodium, just enough to get me to a pharmacy. Of all the things in my EDC, drugs get used the most (by me and for others)
I had to Google that. For other folks, a tool that has a wide flat-head screwdriver-like end that extends as a wedge, used to separate pressure-fit plastic components without causing damage during separation. Thanks for sharing
Your justification for not having a leatherman doesn’t really make any sense. About as much sense as having the knipex pliers because it’s hot and everyone else is doing it.
Pair of disposable nitrile gloves in sealable tiny plastic bag might come handy in many kind of situations you don't want to dirt your hands.
That’s actually a miss on my part. Always have them in there.
You might find some rubber bands to be handy. Couple slim ones, couple thicker ones.
If you encounter a screw that is stripping out, a rubber band can help your bit to grip into it.
That’s a good idea. And a couple of zip ties and you can limp through most situations.
for cables i'd consider the rolling square incharge xl. all combinations of charging you could need in a single cable. only downside is if you are charging multiple things at once you'd only have the single cable if you carried only that.
A lot more grip from Knipex 5” Cobra pliers over the 4” pliers . Also a US Shelby P-51 military can opener . ScrewPop utility blade knife .
Super advice. Love the Shelby P-51. Thanks for sharing.
I would add a large and small safety pin, a few twist ties (I like the ones used to hold toys in the box) and a bulldog clip.
A small bulldog clip is a good shout
I'd add zip ties, maybe some paracord, and some first aid packets of ointments and pain reliever, as well as a larger safety pin.
Great shout. Zip ties are on my list.
i would suggest having a bit of rubbing alcohol in the kit, for use to clean out cuts and other medical uses
Great shout
Amazing video quality for such a small youtuber, im sure you’re gonna get lots of views very fast mate.

I like the edc bag plus I would add nail clippers. One more thing add an AirTag because the older we get, we tend forget we’re we put our stuff at. 😂
oh yeah. Can't believe I forgot an airtag.
I like a few pieces of heat shrink tubing and a small hot melt glue stick both can be used with the lighter. I like the glue stick in place of Sugru (a lot of folks carry) as it dries out over time.
Great ideas. Thanks for commenting. Super useful.
Zip ties. They take up no room and come in very handy. We were camping in Mongolia when a rare rain storm hit. The guide turned on the wipers of the van and the driver's side wiper promptly came apart. Zip ties to the rescue. Don't leave home without them.
I carry the County Comm 4" Titanium adjustable wrench. Super strong and tough. Perfect companion for the Knipex Cobra pliers .
I’ve not heard of it. Will look into it. Thanks for sharing.

@@MarcusCreates Harbor Freight has a three pack of small vise grips for about $7, so the needle nose pair are in my pouches.
I've started carrying more paperclips with me when I realized that they could be twisted together to fasten something.

Good kit! Maybe add a thin strip of magnet tape in the bit tin to keep the rattling down
Good shout. TY
Compact 2m tape measure, micro paracord, folding spoon, small pen n Paper, matador droplet dry bag, small fishing magnet, someone mentioned cable ties 👍, plasters, Leatherman Juice xe6, tweezers, small amount of self vulcanizing rubber tape, freznel lens, credit card, glasses cloth
Cool idea
I would add some medications like aspirin, diarrhea upset stomach. Good kit. I ordered the pouch.
You won’t regret it. Super high quality pouch. I’m loving mine. PS hope you used my discount code. Cheaper for you and I get a small kick back which helps fund the channel.
@@MarcusCreates I tried to click on it but would not take. Sorry.

😂
Great selection of items. I would add my little folding Fiskars because I need scissors. I would swap out the Zippo for a Bic lighter because that is TSA approved, but check the regulations wherever you are located

Some small cable ties fed into the case piping for storage. Depends a bit on case type (eg it works OK with MaxPedition EDC versions). Some pins and safety pins, also can be parked on the piping. Lastly a small stick of "hot glue" to use with your lighter. Travel safely :-)
Great shout. Cable ties have saved the day more then once. They can even be melted to close broken plastic. Like the hot glue stick idea.
Yes, the hot glue + lighter trick is great as super glue doesn't work well on porous material.
Your videos really inspired me on things to buy. Keep that kind of videos😁
I’m glad you enjoy them. Will keep them coming.
You said you have a small channel, but I can tell it won't be for long. Keep up the great work!
Thanks Silverpicker. Appreciate your support.
Ditch the cables and get yourself an inCharge 6. It's a super compact 6-in-1 cable system with a nice form-factor. I love mine.
On the list of things I need...
Definitely adding a few of these to my EDC bag. Thanks for the links as well. You have a new subscriber.
Thanks for the sub!
Love a good pouch video. Nice selection of gear :) No zip ties? I find a piece of heat shrink tubing is really good to keep 4-5 of them nice and tight together. Enjoy your trips, stay safe.
Several people have called me out for no zip ties. 😂. It’s a great idea and will stick some in the pouch. Thanks for watching 👍🏻
Love your videos but i would suggest carrying a 1095 carbon steel blade instead of d2 blade
Great shout. I’m in the market for a new knife (always)
What would you recommend?
Im not sure but some airports do not allow any Blue flame cigarette/ cigar lighters on the plane anywhere either carry on or checked in. I normally just buy a dispoable bic lighter at my destination.
Good shout out.
Safety pins, duct tape, electrical tape, small sewing kit, zip ties, and some cordage.
Have duct tape and small sewing kit in there. But the zip ties are a great shout.
I am making a stationary EDC Altoids kit.

1) Compact slim stapler
2) Transparent small tape which won't require scissors to cut it
3) Liquid glue or compact glue stick which can be used repeatedly
