Mine had a lot of bubble lol but I think that's down to the lid having adhesive on it from a previous installation.

Can you use a hair dryer on low heat if you don't have a heat gun ??

Yes! But it might take a little longer to heat up the vinyl

Yes, the glue will stay on the vinyl. If not, rub it with a rag and methylated spirits.
