As a father of 4 my advice is be noisy while he sleeps. The womb is noisy. They are used to it. Get a white noise machine for while he’s little. Otherwise they get used to silence and it’s a pain in the ass to keep them asleep later. Cheap option that’s worked well for me is the Kinder LectroFan. Congrats and best of luck!

The new sound is different, but still great, I did like the slamming deathcore sound more, but I will still listen to this album

I really respect Within Destructions direction lately because they take the pop elements of deathcore and really lean into it as a band. I was hoping you would talk about the singing, and you did! Great video, now go get some sleep while baby is sleeping!

I found Within Destruction this summer. Saw them live, got a signed CD and photos. They amazing. Yokai and Deathwish are great. The new Lotus album is so good, could be my AOTY. Nightmare isn’t even the best song on it.

congratulations on your new son, man. Also, on Within Destruction's sound, they used to have a slam deathcore kinda sound, but with Yokai and this most recent album, Lotus, they've transitioned to a sound that's more metalcore with elements they took from deathcore and trap metal. Personally I think Yokai was their best album but they are still a solid band

funny enough, before I was able to get a decent scream, I started with gritty singing on accident. I was pissed off and then I made a gritty shout out of anger but it was completely comfortable. And after a few years of trial and error, I'm able to sing with grit comfortably throughout most of my range.
That's a pretty cool way of figuring it out!
