I'm considering to buy one within this year, I love it...but the fact that at the time they thought it wpuld have good reselling value is just hilarious
@@dinoduderocket car forums have said that it is more reliable than the c class but not as reliable as the facelifted e class. You need to check the rust as you always need to with Mercedes of that age. But I have found quite many rust free clks.
I own a 2005 CLK 350 Sport, it’s one of the best cars I’ve ever had fast quiet super smooth and cheap to buy and maintain, could drive it all day and night and get out with a smile on my face. The car has aged well and the spec is amazing, these really are a great coupe and unlike is rivals all the window go down and that just makes it look fantastic.
Still a beauty. Little hard to find one in nice shape but if you do it's a great car to own. Solid, comfortable, refined, pretty fun to drive and has that significant built to last feeling a Benz is known for.
Peter Primark! I have a 2003 CLK270 CDi.... cost £900 and one of the best cars I've owned (and I've bought many for a lot more than that!). Mine's a manual, and I'd have preferred an automatic, but everything else about the car was right. The manual gearbox in post 2003 CLKs and SLKs is actually a lot better than people make out. It's a little heavy but bulletproof.
Got a 320cdi sport five years ago on 120k. It's now done 196k with regular servicing. Fast economical and still looks good only downside is it eats rear tyres!!!
I have the Clk320 petrol and after driving my father in laws C320 CDI E-class I can say the diesel is definitely faster and more economical. But the V6 petrol sounds SO good :)
He didnt do the car much justice, he didnt even know that them switches were for the electric driver seat. I suspect he did no research on this car at all before reviewing it.
Strange how the '03 CLK320 is slower than the previous generation. 0-60 for the 1998-2002 was 6.7 secs, yet these were 7.4 secs. Same engine, curious why that is.
this car is just amazing. I'd like to find one in black exterior or interior ; or maybe beige interior. But as i'm not a specialist i dont know how to find or choose a good one. I want this sport look just as the one on the video has. 320 Avantagarde is ok ? or should i look for some AMG Pack. It's hard but this is my dream car.
Not enough power? the 320 CDI is a 224 BHP, plus the turbo it accelerates 0 to 60 in 5 seconds, not enough power for an irishman aparently, better get them cows ready for ploughing mate. Did i mention u get 40 MPG from this 6 cylinder engine? Yes you do, thats right, not 20, but 40 MPG cruising effortlessly at 100 mph. One "bad" thing is, the car is locked from the factory to a max of 240kmh...guess why.
He was in the petrol - diesel wouldn't rev much past 4500, but still I had an old one and it was plenty fast. But 20 mpg, yes. 30 if on a long run. Probably 10 mpg in town.
Blimey- sorry matey but look at the state of yourself! I think you should just write, not speak! Re the CLK. Bloody timelessly cool. It's not a look that can age. How on earth could MB ever revive the letters? That makes it worth any penny now used!
Funny review, it was only 10 years ago and it was like he'd never seen electric steering adjustment before , it was hardly ground breaking technology for the time , See why he never made it onto TV, lol
Great car, and I know Benz people HATE hearing this over and over ( since the '80s ), but it's not gonna dance and sing in the corners like a 3 Series. Well, not without some suspension tweaks at least.
I've never driven a 3 series so can't comment on that, but my old CLK 320 was great fun on the A68, passed everything except this one 100 mph Golf.... (I wasn't willing to push that fast).
Still have mine and still drives like a dream

Can you tell me how i set the time ?
Mine now is 20 years old drives sooo smooth stylish economical I love it , I’ll never sell it 👍
For a car whose design is now about 15 years old this has aged very, very gracefully.
4MATICbenz yeah especially the CL-class. That design is 18 years old and still looks stunning
@@w140chris this is not 4matic at all, these is a rear drive train.
I have one in my collection It looks perfect !

just wait until the back window regulator brakes!!!!!!!! Its a pain in the ass, but worth it

What average mpg were u getting on it thinking of getting the 220d as my second car
3:07 didn't this guy know what are those?
He didnt do the car much justice, he didnt even know that them switches were for the electric driver seat. I suspect he did no research on this car at all before reviewing it.
I can't stand this guy. He's trying too hard to be funny and his clothes must come from a charity bin...
savage lol
I agree with the clothes bit
Baggy jeans were trendy back in 2003. Your comment is funny though haha.
József Milán Pintér :))
He's just northern lol
E joyed that, I'll be putting mine up for sale tomorrow, its been an excellent car.

My black interior dulls the car unfortunately...not that I can trade the shape for a C207. Timeless!
A 350 clk 2007 and up is the moneyball

very good review you said things you cant see in another clips regards ....
It’s such a good-looking car, even pretty!
Now it costs 5k :D
i got the 350s clk 2008 special edition for 9
0:17 Badge snobbery - I knew this would be a shit review from that point onwards.
I thought the number after CLK meant the litre of the engine but mine is a CLK 200 and it's 1.8 so what does it mean?
On the CLK320 and CLK500 it does mean that. You've got a 180 kompressor so it's a 180 with a bit extra ;)
@@SavedbyHim I hope it means it has the same power as a 2 litre
@@elementalb3m957 Much more than an average 2 litre. It has 120kW and very fuel efficient!
@@SavedbyHim And here I was thinking I had a slow car
It's all dependent on colour with these now. A silver one doesn't merit a second glance but in red they are quite the headturner.

The CLK is quite an impressive chassis. It's low and wide and remember they stuck with it all the way up to the CLK 63 black series and CLK DTM
3 series feel like ur driving a lawn mower with uncomfortable seats.
👍👍👍
