I've owned my CLK for 15 years, I'm getting it ready for a major refurbishment, it's not been moved for 6 months and it's being picked up next week to go off to a Mercedes Benz specialist. It's not going to be under 5K to get it back to its former glory, but with only 50,000 miles on the clock I don't care how much I have to spend, as long as it's not too much 😶😶😶

Tengo un 320 clk 1999, 86.000km, como nuevo. Muy confortable, el más equilibrado de w208. Los acabados son mejores que w209. El w208 era una mezcla de class C y class E, w209 derivado completamente de class C

The 2003 model had a faulty radiator that leaked into the transmission and required expensive repairs. This was fixed in the 2004 model, so go fit one of those.

That stupid coat he wears explains it all. I have one of these clk320 convertibles. It is a 6 cylinder and runs like a 4 cylinder. The top hydraulics failed and the top started to tear. The brakes are poorly designed. The oil filter is at the top of the engine where it cannot catch sediment. This car only has 72k miles on it and you would think it had 120k. TRUE HAVE CLK convertible 2000 , still very very good comfortable , the first Clk were the best generation produced nowadays is full of electronic confusing everybody even so called MERCEDES specialists !!!!
Mine has a seven-speaker Bowes audio system. Much, much better than the one in our old Ford and new Nissan, though obviously nowhere near as good as my high-end lounge system. I wouldn't say it's crap.

Truth hurts, huh? The Mercedes are not what people make them out to be. Your comment says a lot. You don't want the truth. Chances are, you over paid and could have gotten a Ford and been more satisfied.
Beautiful car. I prefer this original pre-facelift version looks classier than the later models. It has grown on me over the years.
I love this w208 coupe clk it is the classic par excellence. The successor w209, can be forgotten.

Would a CLK 320 dating from 2003 be worth buying today? Or is it just too much of a risk reliability-wise?
