Ms Claudette, when my dad a surgeon and my mom divorced for us 4 kids it was devastating. Dad is general surgeon, my mom met him when he was a lowly intern when they married 1970 , she was a registered nurse. she was 20 yrs old. he was 26. Mom helped him study , and carried the weight financially as resident doctors don't make a lot of money.
The more successful dad became in his carrier; the more he cheated. he cheated real badly...countless women. Mom held on for us kids - wrong reason. She was so unhappy. The best thing she ever did was divorce him. She remarried a navy flight surgeon, who treats her like the queen she deserves.
Dad was too busy to give a dam about us, after the divorce. He had a new family and kids. My step father helped the kids move in our life's direction. My older brothers are doctors of radiology, and anesthesiology. My sister is an Nurse Practitioner and I am an Physican Assistant.
Dad for some reason became jealous when mom married our step dad. But too little too late,

Wow!! I had the Same Heavy Hand Experience on my Shoulder when I volunteered at my Church on Halloween night to distribute Trick or Treat Candy to the Neighborhood Kids. There was no one around or behind me when I felt the Heavy Hand.😮❤😇

much as I love Smokey Robinson, his songwriting, and his music I will never understand why he didn't work things out with this wonderful and most attractive lady. I know it's private between the two of them but I find it a real head-shaker. My guess is he was doing his drug thing when with her and she didn't approve so maybe that was part of the problem, She's not only attractive but has a great personality. She once sang lead on a cute little song called "Mr. Misery". I sincerely hope that one wasn't about Smokey 'cause I like him too!
