I reckon this vid might not be for everyone (except people who are fans of looking at back armor!), but here we are riding pillion again on Daisy, except from the POV of the pillion! Audio is nice and clean though, so you can pretend i'm taking you for a spin, I guess? And that you might have lost your wallet too? 😂 Will be back with regular videos soon enough!
Well an early morning coffee sitting in the garden with the nutty sheepdog was very much enhanced by this video. Lovely and charming with just the hint of an Agatha Christie. “ The Mysterious Affair of the Wallet on the Beach “ featuring the enigmatic Daisy Bell…. Loved it😊
Great video! Glad he found his wallet and finally got his gloves on... eventually 😂 was interesting to see the local area and finally saw the back of you😂😂😂😂
I always look forward to your wanderings. The weather looked quite grand. And the a very was nice to see. I never lost a wallet, but I have done what your cousin did. What a feeling that is! Stuff happens, it all worked out in the end. Thanks for posting!
Good on you both, daisy sounds great Brendan, I think everyone has had a ‘lost’ something moment that causes great anxiety & that found again feeling ..relieved 😂.. weather cooling in Oz now & it’s 500 bullet time to make some noise.. enjoying your wanderings mate.. Cheers Phil 🇦🇺
Lovely sounding and losing no bits is always a plus. I spent this weekend in Adare where I got to ride Janner's new girl. Turns out half of the people there had a go on her before it was my turn. She's a rough black girl from Birmingham, surprisingly nimble despite her being in her late 50's... They don't make BSA's like that anymore 😁
Daisy Bell getting a workout! Two blokes aboard and nary a wimper, just a solid, trustworthy steed beneath ye. Oddball will remain a solo bike. We have Fritz for the two-up rides. Carry on, mate and don't break anything. The season is young!
It's the drawback of too many pockets. 😂 Bike sounds good. When I've had a wee passenger of 50kgs, mine could just about cope, but it's overloaded with any luggage. I can't understand why the pillion footpegs on the B5 have sliders on the ends, but the main pegs don't. I scrap up my rear brake lever in a right turn before I touch my pegs, so certainly couldn't lean enough to scrap the passenger pegs, and they squeal and cry if I lean even slightly anyway. I might switch those pillion pegs for the old style round ones. Cheers.
Yea I can’t imagine touring with anyone on the back unless they’re very light 😅 No idea about the pegs! I’ve done the same plenty of times on right hand turns , the newer models seem to have a better rear break lever system that doesn’t loop around under the exhaust … well maybe worse for the exhaust as it’s in the firing line for scraping on turns now 😂
Heyy love the video as always, nice to know what it'll be like when I have someone on the back. I've got a bullet 500 2017 and am really struggling to find the pannier racks to fit. Where did you get yours?? Thank you!!
They're actually the Classic 500's racks, which had to have offset brackets added to the bike to make it fit (As the Classic's Mudguard frame is a different shape to the Bullet), but they've been solid on the bike for nearly 4 years now. There's a closer look at them in my Bullet 500 25,000 mile review video if it helps? ua-cam.com/video/KL-4DFI7UWM/v-deo.html
The pleasant cadence of a thumper..... for whatever reason... no " CC " for this posting... I watch these with the other half a few feet away.. she's usually glued to some nonsense on the tube and doesn't appreciation ... the [pleasant cadence of a thumper.. or the commentary ... 😎
Strange … I guess it either hasn’t finished processing yet or it’s cos there’s so few words spoken maybe 😅 maybe I should add subtitles that just say “[pleasant cadence of a thumper]” to it 😂
G’day Brendan , this video almost put a tear in my eye. I very regrettably sold my RE Tribute 500 a few weeks back. I’ve been regretting that decision ever since. I still have my RE 120 anniversary interceptor & 120 anniversary GT Continental, along with my Harley Ultra Limited Tobacco fade, therefore I shouldn’t complain, however letting my RE Tribute go has left an enormous hole in my life. I know that horrible sinking feeling regarding the lost wallet. Lost wallets, phones & keys are a regular occurrence for me🤷🏻♂️🙄. ( along with money😱🤣🤣) Ask Saddlebags 73 about my glasses when you catch up with him🤓. Just wondering if I have missed some of your videos. I haven’t noticed the white skid lid before. Or have you taken a leaf out of 2 Wheeled Wiiie & painted your helmet?? Just I case you are not aware, Willie has dyed his seat & Saddle bags recently, I thought his example might have caught on with you 🤪🤣🤣. Take care mate. Hooroo from Australia 🏍👍😎
What made you get rid of rid of the 500 Tribute ? 😱 at least you have plenty other fabulous steeds in the stable. The white helmet is my old one , gave Adam my normal ByCity black helmet cos it was set up for the camera 😁 if I see Saddlebags I’ll ask him 😆
Too many bikes, can no longer afford all the registration’s, insurance’s, maintenance etc. Most of the roads in my neck of the woods are longer distance, higher speeds. As beautiful as the Tribute was, it was the most unsuitable bike in my shed for the riding over here in Aussie land. It was a very hard decision to make, & I really feel I should have sold one of the RE 650’s. Although being the 120 anniversary models…. Anywho the deed is done and I just have to live with my poor decision 🤷🏻♂️🙄. Take care mate. Hooroo for now🏍👍😎

Never ceases to amazing me how capable these single five hundreds are 😎🍻👍

Glad we're 'trading weathers'; cooler for you to get out on the Bullet, warmer for me 😂

Cheers Brian! Not planning on taking anymore passengers with Daisy , but who knows what the future holds 😆

Is the weather warming up for Saddlebags visit🌄?
Looks like it ! He seems to always get the one week of good weather we have in Ireland 😆
@@BulletWanderer Hopefully one day he'll visit west Kent!
Instant panic when you think you lost your wallet. I know the feeling.
HI which exhaust is that ? sounds really good.
It’s from Hitchcocks! I believe it’s this one?

How much was there in the wallet?
I think at least 40 grand? Give or take? Good thing he found it 😶
