Great video. This is one place I was actually close to when on a business trip for Honda to France from Ohio, USA. I made it to Geneva and Mont Blanc. Beautiful area, nice to see it again with your commentary! Thank you Brendan
Cheers Wally! Daisy and myself rode through Mont Blanc before, some beautiful scenery down that way. Oh to be sent on a business trip somewhere pretty like this!
We did Switzerland a few years ago.... after the sticker shock for just about any purchase... we enjoyed the country. Zurich was very urbane but we loved old Bren. I decided my 1964 Chevy El Camino would be difficult on the county roads and finding a place to park it... even more difficult. Lots of " Smart " cars.... the pastries at the farmers markets are to die for ! 😎
Great video Brendan. Those views to the lake are very similar to the one's we get here on the Isle of Wight from Ventnor to the sea. Lovely roads there too and DB sounds on top song 🙂
Brilliant scenery and the drumbeat of DB makes it even better. Loved it! Best wishes to clearing weather in Ireland. Send some rain over here. We can use it.
@@BulletWanderer Ok, on second thought, HOLD the rain order! We had a couple of storms that puddled into my shop, got some tools wet and just made a mess of things. We're good for now, mate!
Thoroughly enjoyable video. Thanks for taking us along. I'm waiting for some maintenance supplies to take the Bullet on any longer rides. Maybe a store run or two for today.
I miss the loud thump of your Bullet since you put the stock exhaust back on it, it was the soundtrack to your videos. Your videos inspired me to take my 500 Classic out and do some wrenching on it. Hadn't ridden it since I got my Janus. The RE is still beautifully noisy, rattly and painfully vibratory as ever. I went to a mechanic and he shied away from doing work on it... it scared him, I think.
The louder thump will live on in the old videos 😁 I do like the look of Janus motorcycles, doubt I'd ever see one on the road over here in Ireland though! Would love to take one for a spin someday...
If your ever around back in Ireland again, you should probably see the steam train in kilkenny again, it'll be with 131, and you might have a chance at actually seeing it passing at speed. lol
Not this time, fortunately. We did have extreme bad weather on the way from Caen heading South with lightning, but fortunately had no spanners in the works
I just got Poppy the Bullet 500 back in my garage! Whahoo!

Its a beautiful country, isn't it? Saw lots of similar old cars, touring in an El Camino would be a dream! Aside from parking, of course 😂

No luck sending the rain your way, i'm afraid, still wet and wild here in Eire!

Oh for some of that sunshine and warmth this year!!
Not looking too good so far, is it? 😅
@@BulletWanderer No sir it isn't. Good to hear from you.

Cheers! Glad you enjoyed it! Always good to have a few maintenance supplies as I have often learnt the hard way 😅

You always make me smile.Simplicity
Cheers Paul, that's very kind!
As Saddlebags73 and the rest of our Cornish say "Some Pretty".
Some pretty indeed! Could apply to most of Europe in the alps 😁 It's up there with Cornwall anyways 😉
Beautiful wide open spaces. Love it 🍻👍
Your bike is mutch nicer than mine! 🌷🌷❤❤🌹🌹👍👍👌👌
They're all lovely bikes 😁

Oh I'm based in Kilkenny, so I'm usually always here. Cheers for the heads up, i'll try get to a better spot in advance to chase her down this time 😆
Boy! Would I love to ride my W800 down those road with such beautiful scenery. Alas I am in Canada so that's not going to happen. Nice videos.
Cheers.
I'm sure there's beautiful scenery in Canada too! The W800 is probably the best retro tourer around!
@@BulletWanderer We have our share of scenery. The W800, while not perfect, is one hell of a great motorcycle.
could there be a mode of transport more suited to countryside like that?
Just noticed that the white on the mountain at 2 minutes looks like a shark leaping from the water 😉
"you're gonna need a bigger bike" 😂
No lake of Geneva but Lake Leman 😊
My apologies! I'll get it right next time 😁
Are you ok Brendan? missing your vlogs
Alls good Max! Video on the way this week; just been busy and when I'm not busy its been raining so haven't gotten to take poor aul Daisy out much!

Hiw old is your 500 brother? Where did you buy it from?
She's a 2016 Bullet 500! I bought it second (really fifth) hand from a seller in Dublin, been stuck with her ever since in October 2020!
