Very cool. Make sure you document your progress in fixing it up. Two questions for now: 1.) How much do you have to run your generator? Is it basically to supplement your solar system keeping your batteries up? 2.) Can you just park a houseboat pretty much anywhere, or just certain areas? Good luck with your project!
The generator is only used for the air conditioner which typically is used at night. Everything else is on 12v and the solar panel takes care of that. We will use a small propane grill for cooking and a cooler to keep our food in since we will only be there on the weekends occasionally. The river we are on is mostly public water management land so as long as you are tied there it's good. I'm not sure about other places.
Im jealous! I have always wanted one of those style houseboats.
That's awesome skip glad you got you a houseboat
Thanks 👍
Well done brother! What a nice addition to our river adventures
I agree!
looks like a work in progress and a lot of it..interesting and good luck...
Thank you!

So kinda like what you would do in an RV. Gotcha.
My people are in Westville, You know where that is? Hwy. 179.
I subscribed and liked.
That's my home river, from Mudfish to Moonshine.
Heck yeah! Thanks a lot!
That is pretty cool! I always wondered how that worked having something tied up on the river! Does it have pontoon floats underneath it?
Yes it does!
