      Hey Brian! Thanks for the nice comment, much appreciated! While I aim to get 100 percent likes, it just ain't in the cards. I'm pretty sure I have a subscribed "fan" that is there just to dislike my videos. Usually about 12 hours after one of my vids go up, I get a single thumbs down. #hatersgonnahate #dontcare #keeponkeepinon Also, consider me a subscriber of Brian Jilg Music! Let's talk at work one day to see if we can work out a deal on using some of your tunes in a HappyTrooper video? With full credit to you of course, both in the video and a link in the description.

    ¬ Greetings!
    ~ I have been following and subscribed for quite sometime now (yet) I never placed a comment here on your videos.
    ~ So, I wanted to take this opportunity to say - "THANK YOU!"
    ~ THANK YOU! - for all the tutorials you have on your channel.
    ~ They have helped me out in modifying, creating these magnificent various weapons and have also assisted me in modifying other various weapons not from the Star Wars universe.
    ~ What I LOVE about these, is that you actually take the time, to explain (everything) accordingly, simply, respectfully and in a manner that doesn't come off as being condescending or giving off the vibe of - "I'm the greatest creator" -
    ~ You use easy to find, affordable - hand tools - unlike the other video tutorials that I have seen on other channels that always tend to use expensive equipment (that many of use can't afford, let alone have)
    - and always using it mid-way in the tutorial, including fast-forwarding the process with no explanation afterwards, so it becomes frustrating/disheartening when they do that because they use such equipment that's personally (on hand).
    ~ so its refreshing to see a actual - "hands on" - approach to these builds and actually explaining the various tips and tricks used while performing the build.
    ~ Keep creating these tutorials . . . NEVER STOP PLEASE!
    ~ LOVE THIS CHANNEL!
    ~ Respects! o7

      Sakamoto Mio : I agree, I would rather watch a 1/2 hour long tutorial that goes in depth, teaches tips and tricks and talks to his audience like a friend, not a professor (that can be intimidating), rather than watching a 3 minute long tutorial that kind of just says, these go there, this is what i bought, i painted it, and it should look like this!
      Happy Trooper, you are the bob ross of movie props, thankyou!

      Awww...shucks, you guys are gonna give me a big ego. Thank you for the comments. I love me some Bob Ross. I remember seeing him on PBS when I was a child. I have never painted a picture, and probably never will. Nonetheless, I am entranced by him. His shows are on Amazon Prime now. I put them on in the background at work. His voice is so soothing, and what he does with a blank canvas is amazing. I love his personality...just a kind soul. Everyone needs a little more Bob Ross in their lives. He is the master.

    In your DL-44 project video you mentioned that you made a T-21 Blaster ...did you ever make a video on that? Would be a great help

    • @HappyTrooperDotCom
      @HappyTrooperDotCom  7 років тому +1

      Unfortunately, I did not make a video on it. It was the first weapon that I scratch built...that's what got me hooked on prop building. I used a template from one of your fellow countrymen: PandaTrooper. Yeah, he's up there in Canada too. He drew some amazing templates for the T-21 and provided some instructions on MEPD.net. Because it was his template and his procedures, I didn't think to do a video on it. I did document the changes that I made on my blog: wp.me/p6OqN2-1jn There is also a link to his templates and his instructions on there. If you are good with building stuff, its not a terribly difficult build. Its a great looking gun, PandaTrooper is awesome. He's here on UA-cam too, but I don't think he did an instructional video.

      Thanks for the reply, Ill take a look. I'm really impressed with the way you format your tutorials. taking the time to explain each step instead of briefly touching on it as the time lapse plays. excellent job

    • @HappyTrooperDotCom
      @HappyTrooperDotCom  7 років тому +1

      Thank you for the comment. I appreciate it. I always worry if the videos are too long. When I am following instructions for IT related stuff, building Ikea furniture, watching how-to videos for fixing a car/house part...I want it to be thorough. Same principal applies to my Star Wars props! :-)

      Hey I'm from the UK as well, have you ever used any Bondo equivalent? You know the body filler. I can only seem to get it in small containers, not the big ones like the US has.

      normie twice removed No only had some bad smelling body filler form Wilkes and milliput. Been advised to find ipson p38 which is a polyester filler. I do wish they did bondo over here.

      It is my understanding that weapons are not approved or disapproved. They should match the CRL. Please check with your GML. Perhaps you can show him a photo of this build and see what he/she says. If you have access to a 3D printer, you can print out those greeblies on the stock, they are available for free online.

    Why does the rotj boba fett have the esb ee3?

    • @Khanclansith
      @Khanclansith 7 років тому

      Geminijet542 3 Fett upgraded his blaster during the time between ESB and ROTJ. The legands story is that his blaster was damaged while trying to deliver Solo to Jaba and other Bounty Hunters ambushed him. IRL the prop department had to take all the stuff off the flaregun after wrapping ESB and built a new one blaster from the same flaregun for ROTJ
