  • Reggae Interviews met up with reggae and dancehall hitmaker Nadine Sutherland at Cooyah Clothing in Kingston Jamaica to reflect back on how she plans to celebrate her 45th year in music after winning the Tastee Talent Competition in 1979, becoming the first artist signed to Tuff Gong Records and meeting Bob Marley for the first time recording her debut single ‘Starvation on the Land’ released on 56 Hope Road Record Label and much more.
    Nadine shares how she maintains her relevance with a growing younger generation of fans with recent singles including Queen, Triumphant and Can't Stop Me From Smiling as well as sharing insights into her Masters degree in Cultural Studies as well as working with the UK's Mad Professor for the Inna Mi Blood project.
    Nadine Sutherland is popularly known for her wealth of dancehall and reggae singles from the 90’s onward including ‘Action’, Wicked Dickie’, ‘Anything For You’ and ‘Baby Face’.
