DJ 745 spoke with Warrior King at Tuff Gong Studio, Kingston Jamaica to reflect back on his musical career to date which started out professionally in 2001 with the release of his worldwide hit Virtuous Woman for Lion Paw Productions. Since then, he has worked tirelessly releasing albums including Virtuous Woman, Hold The Faith, Tell Me How Mi Sound and the 2016 co-produced The Rootz Warrior.
Warrior King has built a reputation for making music that speaks about the importance of education, the upliftment of women, and world unity. Born Mark Dyer, in 2001, King’s anticipated album I-Niversal Light is scheduled for release in 2024.
As well as making music and supporting his community, he is also a Brand Ambassador for TeamSeas-a fundraising campaign initiated by Mark Rober and MrBeast, content creators on UA-cam.
