If im not mistaken Shireen and one of her friends were my guest in 2003 at a Party for Prince's lawyer here in NYC. The time i stood him up where he got so pissed, he called my cell phone playing games. I was so in my own element that i did not recognize that we already met back in 1991 twelve years prior. All i remember was that she looked so much like Vanity that i had to have her and her friend who we both share a May 7th bday go in my place while i went to a different club. It just dawned on me that it was her (this past week 2023), i was introduced to but wasnt thinking because that Night the Saturday before the Grammies 2003 there were soo many people/celebs running around me in & out of the club i was in.
ahhh they were good, and slightly sassy not raunchy like todays singers, and they could dance or at least what was pop dance and early hiphop footwork from the time period, where has the time went what has happened to our nation, how did we let them put a wedge between all of us and stoke anamosity, sure we had our problems and still do, but people could at least live and let live, and it was mostly safe to watch tv
Yeah!! they were. At Apollo you are suppose to sing live. I hate when they have music artists lip syncing. I want them sing live so I can judge if they can really sing or not.
