I recently installed an Alpine Back Up Camera to my Alpine ILX-207 Head Unit and I was having issues trying to trigger the back up camera automatically whenever i put my shift gear in reverse. Finally i watched this video and realized that i had to tap into the orange and white wire to trigger to tell the head unit to go into back up camera mode. Thank you so much.
I hope that Alpine takes the screen from the i109-WRA and ILX-007 and spreads it across all their products. Thanks for the vids. As a DIY I find them really useful.
When you mentioned about the foot brake wire and the hand brake wire where would the foot brake wire be hooked up to because what I have is a alpine double din touchscreen model INA-W910 in-dash GPS Navigation receiver 7.0 inch wide in dash color display and that wire got me confused on where that wire should be hooked up to I know the hand brake wire goes on the E-brake wire under the center console area
Silly question JJ AVE how did his car stereo home theater sound. I did all the cable and cat5 in that house when I worked for Audio Audio. It was a running joke with the home audio guys.

I have the rp5-gm31 and I am a little confused about which wire I should connect for my backup camera; is it the purple/white from the interface to the orange/white on the head unit?
Iv cut my sealed plug off my tv mains wire to extend it but the wires are blue brown and red which are different can you tell me what order they go in my plug 🤔
I have and alpine cdm-7854 from 1999, the manual doesn't show an illumination wire and there's a solid orange wire that isn't shown in the diagram is this illumination?
Ok so I’m having an issue with sound when I’m plugged in the the USB port or the Bluetooth. It works fine with fm signal. I called alpine and they said if I’m getting fm sound then the remote wire needs to be connected to my antenna wire and or the amp wire but on my Chevy classic there is no antenna wire or stock amp. Not sure what to do now? Any help would be great!
So I installed a alpine radio in my 06 impala problem is the screen flickers and wont let me use the unit. I thought it was just the radio so I put my previous one back in an works fine. Then I got another completely different alpine until an low an behold I run into the same problem. What's going on here plz help

This happened to me, I hooked up the reverse wire to the wrong wire that resulted in the Alpine going straight to the reverse camera when I turned to acc. Still need to figure out where that darn reverse wire is in my Element.

My question is I'm installing Alpine in my c3 1981 corvette, I know how to wire the amp and correct polarity on speakers and all that good stuff as a broadcast video engineer. Now i must ask about reverse stereo and back up /brake ke wiring, is that for a camera??
So I have to hook that orange wired to that reverse wired in order that stereo works I put a 5pins relay and dint work and I hook it up in that house a It works but install in that truck don’t give me access to that settings
hello I was curious to find out if it was possible to connect Banks IQ performance system and to an Alpine head units with a navigation together because I have a Banks performance economy tuner without the banks IQ monitor I was hoping to see if it's possible to connect the bank system to my Alpine system to use the head unit as the monitor? I deeply appreciate your time and helping me this question thanks PJ

Those are for a stereos compatible for Bluetooth module like parrot
