I use Chapgpt. Not for it to write my screenplay because it can't do that. But I come up with the ideas, questions, etc for my characters. It just helps me sort it all out. It will write a treatment and an outline. It's pretty helpful. It feels more collaborative, or rather, where I bounce my ideas to help me come with and write it all faster. Example, been developing an idea since October. Chatgpt helped me get my ideas sorted out so I can have a road map quicker and write the screenplay
I do the exact same thing. I have an ideas document open at all times which I add to throughout the days. I then bounce the ideas off of GPT to help solidify them into something. GPT is great at suggestions for things I should work on. Like, expanding on the scene detail eg. if anything is going on in the background of the scene or The placement of characters and what small mundane task they could be doing during moments of dialog, etc. It just point's my creative thought process in directions that I sometimes overlook.
I am a new screenwriter. I have written a script and but got rejected in competition managed by coverfly. I was looking for someone to help me. But after watching this video I think I should try these softwares to assist me.
The AI can help you brainstorm, but as a new screenwriter, it will take time to hone your craft. I recommend watching my formatting playlist to get you started: ua-cam.com/video/5Pbn2LMTHxo/v-deo.html
Do you write your film scripts in Notion? If so have you made a video? If not Could you? I’m writing a script and I want to know how others use notion to write their scripts.
I do use Notion as part of my process, but I also use other tools. I'll add your idea to my video list! In addition, I did create a Notion template for writers. Check it out! www.etsy.com/listing/1321063066/ultimate-notion-template-for-writers
Is there any screenplay generator that has no characters limit? Like Chatgpt doesn't allow a transcript to be paste in order to generate a script because of the way too long character count
I'm guessing you're asking about AI generators without text limits? I'm not sure. The paid plan of ChatGPT might have more features. Notion (which I also use in the video) doesn't seem to have a limit either.
If you get a chance check out UA-cam Createscifi: Screenwriting With Chat GPT AI Exploration: A Test Drive Of How It Can Help Screenplay Development. He got ChatGPT to write the script with dialogue & with characters it's what you type in the prompts that he got ChatGPT to write the whole screenplay.

Hey, as long as it helps you or me or anyone who writes, then I got no problem with it.
Great! Glad it helps.

I used a different AI platform to write an original screenplay based on my synopsis and now I have a literary agent! Now that was easy! 🎥🎬🎞️📽️💵💵💵
this is amazing thanks for the tips and not just talking but showing us how to utilize AI.....:)
Glad you enjoyed it!
This is awesome, I never heard of this and it's helping me so much these last few hours. Thank you!!
You're welcome!
great vid!!
Thanks!
Uncle Remus said, that sounds unbelievably cool.... thanks for sharing.
You bet!
13:00 sounds like something I would do.

Awesome, thank you. I look forward to learning how you would use notion for writing a film script.
Thnaks for this. Great video. Can you suggest the AI programs to download as of today?
I'd still say ChatGPT, but I've not used any of the other major LLMs out there.
Thank you for this. Have you tried Plotdot AI?
I have not! What makes it unique?
Thank you
You're welcome
WOW it's writing fast. Is it writing your entire story?
No, not really. It can help you write a story, but it'll be derivative without some serious input by you.
Are there any tools you know of to put your book into a screenplay format?
I've not heard of one, but would you be interested in a video on how to adapt a book into a screenplay?
@@Storylosopher I would indeed.

@@Storylosopher thanks, I didn't know there was a payed version of chatgpt
Can it create characters, write the script, create the situatons, locations and settings - and dialogue?
It's definitely got limitations-it's really only good at generating concepts or general plot points. It's a jumping off point.

Would you know if AI can help me turn my book into a movie?
It won't. Translating your story from one medium to another takes skill and critical thinking.
I still want it to write the dialogue
Haha then the dialogue will be bad!
Woody rewriting the front
So we have this dude to thank for the ongoing "2023 Writers Guild of America strike"...
Yep! It's all me. I won't rest until I rid the world of creativity, one robot at a time. 🤣
acts and talks like the guy from the short "Lie Detector"
Lol I don't know who that is
