A Year in the Life of a Trail Camera

- Trail camera 37 was mounted to a tree on a seismic line in west-central Alberta as part of a project to figure out how animals are using seismic lines. It took a picture every day at noon, plus whenever it detected movement.

A year in 2:24 , WOW! Time certainly does fly by fast. You said that you take a picture @ noon everyday if movement is detected LOL! @0:14 looks like a moose in a dark as night afternoon. So many dark sunless days @ noon. Very cool

Note to self: do not get a trail cam that finally decides to take a picture when the animal is almost all the way out of the frame. That is all.

the cam is too high-tech to capture a blobsquatch. camera needs to be blurry and shaky for BF.
I saw the sasquatch walking amongst the trees. He doesnt walk on tracks like the other critters.

The label 'funeral music' surprised me, because the images I get from Fantasie Impromptu by Chopin are - and alwas were - of seasons changing.
What I was wondering is what triggers the camera? It can't be one photo at the same hour every day, right?

When you watch trail cam videos you notice that coyotes detect them. Notsure if they hear them running or smell them or see the IR light, but they know the cameras are there.
Bears like to sniff and chew the cameras.
So, if sone animals can detect them, why cant bugfoot detect the cameras and avoid them?
@@MrYfrank14 because there is no bigfoot. Millions and millions of trail cams in the woods and not one crisp clear picture of the fake bigfoot.
OK open a season on bigfoot with a 1 million dollar bounty. I bet the million never gets collected. But the government knows if they open season on bigfoot, they going to have a bunch of dead people in monkey suits. And all bigfoot sightings will stop.
