      Today? Actually easier today.
      It's much easier to find wild animals near human habitation than it is far out away from towns.
      More food, more fresh water, more places to make a home, more chances to find a mate etc.

    • @AgreeToNotAgree
      @AgreeToNotAgree 4 роки тому +2

      @@porkchopspapi5757 The thing is humans have got rid of most natural predators, brought invasive precies into the land and pushed the rest to smaller and smaller areas. It's all about how to define "hard life". For some species it's definitely much easier to go by, but so many have gone nearly or completely extinct. It's all about balance that we now have to control, like without hunting certain animal populations would just go nuts and destroy everything. In some areas it's better and in some much worse.

    • @florenlebaron524
      @florenlebaron524 3 роки тому +3

      True, loss of habitat and other situations are making it difficult for wild animals, that's why extinction is increasing even faster.

    This is a beautiful sight that most people don`t ever get a chance to see. I really wish more people were appreciative of our animal neighbors like you obviously are. My husband and I passed by a large family(12 or so) of wild pigs on the side of I-75 in Florida where we live, which started a conversation about how the development of land here is out of control there is hardly any undeveloped land around for all the different species we have. Yet there are soo many buildings lying vacant. Your video will hopefully trigger something in the right people to help fight to set aside land everywhere for our voiceless neighbors, this planet is their home also. Thank you soo much for providing them this oasis, by the way very impressed with how clean you are able to keep the water !

      @@mikeroberts5646 Mike; a few years ago there was a Mt. Lion killed by car in Conn, it had apparently came from the Black Hills in SD. Since there is the food resource of deer and porkys there will continue to be more lions east of the Mississippi. All so far have been males but do not hold your breath. That line in Jurassic Park, "life will find a way" is not magic it's a testament to the abilities of animals to survive. I live in AK and the mice here were killed off by an early winter rain that froze all their food, caribou, sheep and muskox can also have this problem. Last summer was very cold and our butterflies had a hard time reproducing. If Dr. Foster is on the edge of town he will eventually see a lion there

    I really liked your video. Beautiful spot. I'm glad you didn't feel the need to kill the little creatures. They want to live as much as we do.

      That's an excellent point. Thank you for your concern. Fortunately, because of the arid climate, tick-borne diseases are rare in Arizona, but they can be serious. As far as is known Lyme disease does not occur in Arizona. There are about a dozen cases of Rocky Mountain Spotted fever each year.

    This is very relaxing to me, i always enjoy watching game pass by wen i m hunting ive done it many times, we hunter don't shot at everything we see, that's a lie, if we did then your scare off the game you are hunting for, the deer here we small females, the buck was not legal, and the coyotes are not eatable, so just watch and enjoy and hunt another day. Thank you

      Yes, They are native to the Southwest. They are actually good eating if you know how to dress them. My dad used to pit BBQ them and the meat was delicious.
