I think every game puts a Halloween spooky horror vibe map in somewhere whether its for Halloween or not. A bit like Ravenholm in Hl2, that wasn't actually very scary but if spookified it could be it's own horror game.
Bro thanks for upload this! by far, the best level and soundtrack in the entire game (for me). I replayed this mission a lot of times on nightmare and I never get bored!
@@boneor...7022Which… occurs as a result of adrenaline release. That’s why beta blockers like metoprolol reduce blood pressure and heart rate… they block the action of adrenaline (epinephrine).
I guess it kinda makes sense. Blood Swamps is literally a swamp full of corpses from Night Sentinels while also being riddled with demons, disease and decay. Reclaimed Earth is Earth after the defeat of the Icon of Sin and the demons left behind that haven’t been entirely rooted out yet. However, it is still Earth that has mostly been saved. So it makes sense in terms of the soundtrack. But, even if this is the case, RE has some sick riffs in it. Too bad the level design is boring as fuck.
That's what I felt too. Tag 2 is trying to make the slayer (player) feel like an unstoppable rage machine. However, tag 1 is trying to make the slayer know that he is about to get his ass handed to him.
The one thing I despise about this level are those annoying mushroom looking things THAT blow up, releasing spores that cause damage to you but not to the enemy and cannot be destroyed.
Luckily they’re only used in this level, I like them because they force you to be more mobile and stay off the ground with the meathook, double jump and dash
For the trailer, the first half is from the World Spear (super heavy track), second half is from Immora's intro cutscene. For the teaser, it's a piece from Reclaimed Earth's super heavy fighting track.
Dumb question: how are you getting these shots in-game? I'm working on a video and I want to use shots like these I tried using Cheat Engine for "noclip" but my PC wouldn't run it... for some reason :/
There are 2 ways of doing it: You can either use photo mode by hiding the UI and holding down the next frame button so that everything moves, though by doing this everything will move in slow motion. I've sped up some clips in this but a lot of them I've left unedited because you can't really tell anyway in the Blood Swamps. The second way is by using commands, which I figured out only recently. You need to have ModInjector.bat installed for this to work. From the settings, hide the UI and set your crosshair to none. You then need to type "hands_fov scale 4" in the console to remove your first person hands and weapons. There's also an extra command that may be useful and that's "p_forcefov [number]", where [number] is the amount of FOV you want to force. For very wide shots I recommend going up to 150 as anything above that is way too much. If there's screen shake happening in the level, make sure to disable environmental screen shake in the settings also. As for the height from which I've recorded some of these clips, in the Blood Swamps you can cheese your way on top of trees by finding the right spot and maybe using the Ballista's knockback.
@@anecro My dude, thanks! I tried photo mode and didn't really like it. I'll try those console tips since I wasn't aware of those already. Thanks, again. Cheers!

Light fighting in this level is when there is no fighting, every part of this level is in some way difficult and angry.
Blood Swamps just has such a nice Halloween type vibe to it, I'm not sure why. Anytime I listen to this I just think of Halloween, it's awesome.
Well that's because it released very close to Halloween
Pretty sure they wanted that
Haha yeah I really like it.
The Halloween menu background is pretty similar to the Blood Swamps' one.

Best mix of Blood Swamps, bar none.
Especially the transition into the Heavy Fighting theme.

I swear that transition between light fighting to heavy fighting is absolutely amazing. Subbed
Appreciate it man

I don't know why, but that whirring sound during "light fighting" is probably my favorite part of the song.
