Just finished this dlc again (couldn’t beat the dark lord back during release and now I feel happy to finally beat this dlc) It’s been a hell of a ride, though on the topic of the music… It’s phenomenal to put it bluntly; as one comment mentions, it’s like a heroic version of meathook and I couldn’t feel happier about it since it fits well for what’s essentially the conclusion for the doom series (Yes the dark ages is coming this year, but it’ll be a prequel). Though during the 1:46 area and beyond, I can actually hear the bitterness and even sorrow of the ending. While the doomslayer had finally killed the dark lord; many innocents were lost by the end and the slayer could no longer be with his people for he’s sealed away until he’ll finds a way to get out of hell I love how this game and its dlc actually came together in the end, and how this song basically fits together with how I felt about everything by the end. It was a great journey all around and even when the dark ages releases, I’d still recommend this game and it’s 2 dlcs a must try since they’re so good To anyone reading comments; thanks for spending the time to hear me out and continue to rip and tear, until it is done
