Amen, Praise the Lord, thank you sister for sharing this hymn Dear Lord bless you. The disciples considered Mary’s love offering to the Lord a waste. Throughout the past twenty centuries thousands of precious lives, heart treasures, high positions, and golden futures have been “wasted” upon the Lord Jesus. To those who love Him in such a way He is altogether lovely and worthy of their offering. What they have poured upon Him is not a waste but a fragrant testimony of His sweetness.
This portion of the Word holds a special place in my heart. Mary was such a pattern to pour the flask of ointment on Him. Wherever this gospel is proclaimed, what this woman has done will be told as a memorial of her :)
Amen, every word of this song is a reminder of our absoluteness to the Lord; all our endeavors, dreams, achievements are all nothing; the Lord should be the Center of our everything. Sister can you share the romanized Korean (hanguel) of this song; try to sing it also in Korean. Amen
Hi Sister, I really enjoyed this song, both English and Korean. I’d like to sing the Korean version, when you have time, can you add the phonetic English spellings of the Korean words, just as you did with one of your other songs? I believe that song was called, “My God My Portion.” Praise the Lord for all the gifts he has showered upon you Sister! Many Thanks! Alan
