Another thing people dont seem to understand is that one, they included an adapter for it so you can STILL use your standard headphones. Two, the audio capabilities of the lightning port are far superior to the 3.5mm jack. The 3.5mm jack is limited to 16bit 44.1khz quality, where as the lightning port is capable of at least 24bit and 96khz. Want audiophile quality? Well there you go.

Apple could have just made the iPhone a little bit thicker to hide that ugly camera bulge and able to keep the headphone jack with the stereo speaker's and also have a even bigger battery. Every year apple says we have a bigger battery but it still stucks

iPhones, in my opinion.. need a max of 2500mAh.. that'll last the day and maybe more on the 4.7".. if the left it the same for maybe 4/5 years.. tech always gets more efficient so battery life would get better every year anyway..

I think that if you buy a phone and you have to immediately put a case on it in order to preserve it that it is crap. One of the few exceptions is the moto Z with it's cool backs. I never used a case i used skins like carbon pattern, and the toast wood ones look sooo good !

There was the bigger screen on iPhone 6, the 3d touch on 6s, and the iPhone 7 there is water resistant (I don't make a big deal of it because I never had a problem with water damage on phones) but the headphone jack was left behind. So, the iPhone 7 is faster than 6s? Wow, the 6s is already a beast (in my opinion). Not going to change it, and everytime e hear more things about the new iPhone, indeed makes me want it less. I would trade it for 6s for free if someones offers to, but not going to spend money on it.

So uh, what did you want exactly? All the speakers to be blocked when you hold your phone? Or would you rather have a unsymmetrical device? Or maybe you could have a symmetrical phone with speakers located at different positions?
The issue is that the initial claims for why they were removing the headphone jack were a) to make the phone thinner or b) to have stereo speakers on the bottom. Neither came to fruition.
I'm pretty sure the one speaker acts as the hole for the microphone you talk into so it's not actually useless.
It actually has an imbedded mic on the "fake" speaker

My issue is with the headphones. I can handle not having a headphone jack but I physically cannot use apple headphones. They're too hard and they don't stay in my ears because my ears are quite small. I always have to buy JVC marshmallow headphones because they are one of the few pairs that actually stay in my ears. If they were to come out with a rendition of similar headphones I would purchase this phone, but until then I'm going to have to pass. Having a desk job until 10 at night won't happen without my music haha

No the 7 plus is not dramatically better. If you're like me, the size alone is enough to not buy it..even if it was gold plated.lol. 3 gb ram is for the screen and Camara. It's just more to work the phone. This guy is guessing that it's "faster" because of the ram.

ugh, i may not have the original apple lightning cord but i believe its a belkin 6ft cord thats pretty thick and its like kinda screwy. i cant use the normal cord cuz its too short so i have to use this one until i can get a new one. but the problem with it is that it fucks up my phone hardcore when im charging and using it at the same time.
like seriously one time i was texting someone and with not even touching anything, next thing i know, im sending them my fucking location....like what the fuck. a lot of the time i have to like kinda fold the cord in a certain direction so it doesnt go fucking coco for coco puffs.

I was complaining about how I just got a 6s Plus, overall I'm happy I'm not getting a iPhone 7. I like having a physical home button, I love the headphone jack, I pretty much like everything. I think the only thing I'm enjoying about the iPhone 7 is the Jet Black color.

the speaker takes up less space than the headphone hack part did the speaker is thin and long the headphone jack takes up too much space internally apple did this to make the bottom symmetrical and cover up a blank space

I agree it's a really nice phone and when I seen it I was like I'm gonna get that phone. But when someone was doing a review on it during the developers preview he mentioned how you could already see scratch and scuff marks. And that's just people holding the phone, apple states in their disclaimer with that phone that it scratches very easily and they are aware of that so their solution... Put a case on it and if it scratches that easily just handling a phone just imagine changing cases or putting a case on that's difficult to put on or off. That's a recipe for more scratches and scuffs. Or what if you're walking and you accidentally hit it on something. Not everyone is going to put a case on it because some people like their iPhones bare. But yea it's pretty but can get ugly real fast lol
