Looks like I'm not the only one working out a few "kinks" in the RX28SE. Like you, I also have binding in the side links. Also had (but have already fixed) a binding problem in the lower left ('driver' side is still 'left', right?) suspension arm, where it attached to the chassis. The only other problem I've had...and, it was a super-easy fix...was the battery fitting behind the ESC. "Fixing" that was as simple as removing the hard body side clips. I might considering adding that grounding wire on the SE, as well as the Atomic SZ2 I'm about to start building, as both will be running steel chassis. Initially, I installed the 14mm rear wheels...but, due to club rules, I'm having to switch them to the 11mm rear wheels. Not a big deal...but, it looks much 'cooler' with the 14mm wheels/tires. For gearing (with 3500kv on 2S) I'm running 64p 53T/10T.

The other (who bought his after I did, but built/raced it before I started my build) has already raced his a few times, but it's also still working on focusing the best tuning. I will refrain from mentioning his name, but he is also a somewhat known TLR Team driver for 1/8 & 1/10, so we're pretty-much following his lead in the tuning department.
Do you have a certain website that you use to order your furitek electronics? Motor / ESC Combo would be great. I just bought the Atomic Mrz Sf and need electronics for it now. Any help would be appreciated.
There are 3 different version. For $360, you can get the RX28 (which comes with the standard front double A-arm suspension), or the RX28K (which comes with the KISS front suspension). For either of these, you can buy the 'other' front suspension. Also, these come with the aluminum chassis. The RX28SE (for "Special Edition") is $500, and comes with BOTH front suspension, a stainless steel chassis, 11mm & 14mm rear wheels, standard & hard front suspension arms, and several other goodies. When the RX28SE was announced, a lot of people (falsely, I might add) claimed it was 'overpriced'...but, of you consider everything it comes with, the cost of either of the other two kits, and the cost of all the other extras the SE comes with, your discovery what a deal it actually is. Plus...and, this is a BIG 'plus'...for the time being, the SS chassis is not available separately, and it might never be (especially considering the SE utilizes several parts that are different from the other two kits, and the fact that the SS chassis uses a different design).
I did 2 videos discussing the 3 different cars. One is before the SE came out but was announced, and the other is part of the SE build. SE comes with both front ends. I still need to do a video on the Kiss.
If I had the money! I would definitely buy one!
They are definitely worth the money for those who are very serious but there are some fantastic budget options to get you in the game.

Once the car is set up and all the bugs are out, it’s a beast.
