    That area has already boomed ridiculously the last 8 years which has absolutely destroyed the local infrastructure and housing prices are through the roof.
    Doesn’t sursurprise me that 2 real estate agents are pushing moving here.

    Did the barrier islands get destroyed by a hurricane? They are barely inhabited

      @@glory70x The islands are continually altered by wind, waves, and flooding. Over many years, the army corps of engineers has relocated, adjusted, and rehabilitated them.

      Darn. We were thinking of moving there in the next year. Apparently, the hospitable southern folks that I've always loved don't want a conservative family from the Midwest who works hard and pays taxes.

    ......but aren't people moving there due to it being cheaper? If prices keep going up then Saint Petersburg is for me. Florida is a right wing state. To many people though

      Alabama is just as red as FL, even with a few cities being blue.
