You are such a blessing to people who want to make jewelry but are so timid about some of the techniques or have never been shown. You are a gift and are blessing so many people by your sharing and your kind, loving spirit. I have been making jewelry for a long time now but you now have another big fan. God bless now and always. Cute idea! Never saw this before. U could also glue a sequin on as a bead cap to cover the stub... love this idea my crafty friend!

Love your video. You can stick the eye pins in a piece of styrofoam until they dry and then cut off the excess. Just an idea.

I don't have the tools to make dangles so this video came at the right time. I never got in to jewelry making so I have not invested in beads and all the different things that go with the craft. I little tiny stash that I got from a grab bag at the thrift store but it is not anything to make a full project. One day I may just try this when I find some items on clearance. Blessings

Beautiful work! I found that when using hot glue when wreath in that when it gets heated up from sun, being in a car or hanging on a door that the hot glue remelted and embellishments fell off of the wreaths. I don't think the dangles will stay together either.

What a genius idea. I love it and fully intend to use it when I bead with my grandkids. I did notice that the beads look to be acrylic? Yes? I was wondering if you tried this with glass or metal? I feel a little leery of that for some reason. Might work tho. Were any of your beads glass? Maybe the teardrop one. Just curious. Thanks.

I absolutely love the instant dangles, but I wonder if you have had any unfortunate luck with the glue not holding up? I just know over the years the hot glue has not always stood the test of time. Thanks so much for your video and great ideas and beautiful creations!

Use acetone to remove superglue from skin.

Hi Felicia. This is an old video but just found it. I've never had good luck using hot glue on jewelry. Does it hold on the bracelet you made? I'd like to try ur technique with the super glue. You can clean ur fingers w/ acetone if u get super glue on them. TFS. Tere

      Greetings,
The bracelet I made was wire wrapped and it is still in tact. The charms I made too are in tact too but you do raise a good question about hot glue because sometimes it can separate from slick surfaces so its as bit tricky. Thank you for the acetone tip. Please keep me informed of your results. Blessings...

paprluvr hot glue is not designed for jewelry. Over time, it will come apart. I do wonder how the Gorilla Glue hot glue sticks would work. That glue is supposed to be stronger.
For this technique, E6000 is the recommended adhesive.

Hi. U R so much fun to watch. I had stumbled upon your charm/dangle method and was flabbergasted because I'm putting an arts crafts and bead thing together for an 8 year old. My first question is WOULD U PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHEN U HIT GREAT CLEARANCES, PLEASE? 2nd...r u the girl who glued bits of chain on to a flat top earring? Please write. Thank U. Hi Sharon. I don't think I'm that girl lol but I will let you know if I come across great deal on beads. As a matter of fact, HObby Lobby has many beads 75 percent off right now. I love to craft and shop from Tuesday Mornings because they get new stuff in every week not available at craft stores. Blessings....

HI new subbie. I make a lot of jewelry and there is a tool now that helps you make the loops so you don't have to hot glue and cut. it is called the one step looper by Beadsmith. it is a little pricey but get a 40% or 50% off coupons from Michael's or Hobby Lobby and it is a decent price and you will LOVE it.
