This was a great tutorial. I didn’t know you could use like yarn to make a dangle! I have a couple of those string threaders from my moms old sewing box! I asked my dad if I could have her sewing box ever since I was little she had the same one. She died before they knew what to name Covid! He said of course you can have it. Now it needs a little TLC but it was my mom’s and I want to keep the memory. Thanks again Dawn B
If you still have a bunch of boring plain buttons you could see them all to a piece of fabric and use it as a journal cover, I think a button covered lookbook or something would be cool as hell
Your bead dangels are very nice. I like them very much. You're close in calling that piece that goes on the top a hat. It's name is a bead cap and I put them on both sides of the bead
This was such a helpful demonstration ❤ Its true that the needle threader trick made me slap my forehead at the simplicity of it yet maybe a handful of people had thought to do this😅 Very lovely project!
I love the contrasting beads and the bulk of the project. Very creative. Thank you so much for sharing. I just happened to stumble onto your channel, so I am now subscribed. Looking forward to exploring all your creative projects.
I LOVE journal jewelry. I just uploaded a video this past Monday on making some and will have another one this coming Monday again on more. I had one of those smaller needle threaders but the wire came out so now I just use a piece of 28G wire about 6"-7" folded in half. I have always loved sewing, but now I find I am sewing paper so much more than fabric (unless the fabric/lace/ribbon is on paper for a journal) lol. I LOVE how your tassle turned out ☺♥
Nice beaded tassel - I liked the needle threader idea also. I make a lot of jewelry - the "hats" are just called "bead caps." I look forward to your button video. I have glued beads to the middle of "boring buttons" and then glue them to magnets. That dresses them up a bit. I also use stacks of them to make "button trees" for the holidays. White and gray and brown can make interesting graduated trees. You can use wire or cord or even a pipe cleaner. There are many videos on UA-cam for making button trees. Anyway, thank you for the inspiring video! ;)
That spine jewelry is gorgeous!! I can't wait to make one. Sometimes when my needle threader isn't long enough, I've used dental flossers because they are definitely long and work great. I keep a bag in my craft room.
Just taking up journaling and embellishments. Found you a couple weeks ago. Your projects are fun. Thank you for sharing. I realize your beading tutorial was 2 years ago but do you remember what yarn/thread you used? So pretty.
I saw someone use long tweezers to hold thread when knotting pearls. This tip may help you get those knots right where you want them. Love your videos. ❤
Gorgeous Margreth , this is a big version off the one you made in the first video’s off these 100 days project and….I lucky one received that one but now I have to make one myself with your splendid tutorial😍😍😍 I realy love the needle treater , never saw that used like this👍🏻 Have a nice weekend! using the needle threader is very smart, reminded me that there are beading needles, they could work too i think. need to find mine x) i love your project!
