I do a bit of touring on my MT 10. Use the SW Motech tank bag and Blaze panniers. Don't know about you guys on tour but I do plan my rides around fuel stations....she's a thirsty beast.

What's the purpose of having a sheep's skin seat cover? Does it just add padding?

Good question. It creates a surface which allows blood to circulate that bit better, preventing your butt from going numb on long rides. And it adds a bit of plushness too.
