I would like to argue that declaring you quit the death game and that the girlfriend can save herself is perhaps the worst way to test the game master in that situation. Yes, figuring out a way to determine why the game master is helping you is a good idea, but if the only reason they're helping you is because they're impressed with your selflessness/willingness to risk your life to save hers/they have a connection to the girlfriend, then say goodbye to your main advantage in this game. I'm not sure if there is a good way to definitively figure out their motivations in one declaration/action, but you could run some tests over time to see which actions get rewarded and make more declarations as to your own "motivations" to see if that has any effect, but make them less obvious and less likely to cause the game master to completely abandon you.

    • @coultersheppard2052

@@zeyface6366 as of now i haven't watch part 2 so my theory is that the favoritism of the game master comes from boyfriend being likable because of all the stuff op listed above.
Is this a game master like a sports one that values a fair game or a game master like in roleplay games that values an interesting, overall story? I think is the latter and that's why being a likable protagonist is so, so important. You don't want your favorite character dying before the grand finale, do you?

      @jyashin Рік тому +42

That's because it isn't actually a death game. The Telecephalon ("Die Now" in English) is a parallel world to regular Earth, where the people actually play a series of psychological games to earn "points." These points can be used to exchange for items in an "item shop", and they pretty much have everything at a very low amount. A McMansion is worth just 1 point, for example.
When you lose, you don't die, you simply get transported to regular Earth, living your earthly life. But if you win, you get to live in Telecephalon, where you enjoy all the luxuries and fulfill all your wildest desires. However, you have to play a game once every week.

Uhh... I'm pretty sure the time difference isn't a factor with a wormhole.
The point of them is they warp space-time, and connect two locations.
Which means you aren't actually traveling through the distance between the two locations, the locations have been made to be next to each other.
Such distortions would probably require a massive amount of energy though, that might warp time around the wormhole entrances, and would almost certainly emit massive amounts of radiation.
And you're alive to notice that you didn't immediately fry, so they probably built some kind of safety into the system to direct that radiation.
You can't be certain that you're in a death game where there will only be one survivor, so just killing your mark immediately seems a bit reckless.
Additionally, you can't assume that the other players are NPCs, nor can you be certain that in a simulated reality you aren't the test.
For example, it might be that you are an AI, your whole life was a lie, and they're currently testing to see if you'll go aggressive on humanity, before releasing you from your cage.
In that scenario, no matter what threat you seem to be under, killing the other players might be your biggest mistake.

So, coming back to this video after watching the entire series-
It's a ride, and the fact that this video only covers 6/20 episodes and the games are only getting harder is great lol
To anyone reading this, if this video made you interested in the story I do recommend it! The video (obviously) skips over a lot of the story context, and I personally think it's an enjoyable serires to watch. It's not amazing but it's nice :D

Regarding the "vote someone out" room:
Note that the instruction didn't say to vote for a winner. It said to vote for someone to leave the room. This is very important because in order to solve the puzzle we need to understand what the game master wants.
There are weapons there to get us to fight and kill each other. However if the game master wanted us to kill each other he would order us to vote for who is going to win the game. But he didn't. This means the one who leaves the room is not the winner. Then the one who leaves the room is someone who doesn't deserve to win in the game masters eyes.
The conclusion we can draw is that we see going to vote for who is going to die

18:02- “…she admits this is her sixth game.”
Wait. If this is her sixth game, that would imply she should have a really good understanding how these games work, right? If so, she should have been a lot more careful than we saw her to be. Not to draw comparisons to Gantz, but you could say that if you have survived several games up to this point, you would have some elevated paranoia and not be as careless as she was as we saw during the video (up to and even getting killed, but not really, at the end of this game). Either she would know exactly what to do in order to stay alive and thus wouldn’t be worried about other players trying to kill her, or she is the luckiest player out there.

To be honest, trying to sack that girl is a very BAD idea, because at the very start, she revealed that she's played this game more than once. If that was true, then that means she knows more about the game than we do, and also knows roughly the best ways to survive since she's made it this far. Not only that, if she's telling us this, it means that cooperating IS the best way to survive, at least for the time being, meaning we can at least partially trust her in certain situations. I'd be doing everything in my power to keep her loyalty to me, because she's the best chance we have to understand more about the game and getting one step closer to finding our girlfriend. As for the gamemaster, I wouldn't question his favouritism to us, at least not for now. We have too little information to base his motivations on, and he's our BEST chance of survival. If we take one wrong step, all that favouritism and any advantage we have could be stripped away, and I'm not risking that for ANY unsavoury motivation he might have. We could always find more information later, but only if we survive. I'd keep track of what he praises me for, and try to milk that, but nothing more. We can't risk pissing him off or tipping him off that we're onto him.
