In the platform game, what if the guy asked the other people to go to the corner of the edge of the platform and reach their hand out so he can grab it. Since there's only a small opening in the center, they wouldn't be able to do it, and the distance seems to be close enough for this to work.

Funny, as in the Manga the Chairman EXPLICITLY wants someone with "the luck of the gods" that could survive even an engineered lethal situation because fate could simply not let them die.
This is the worst take of luck someone can have, because them surviving might mean that they used up all their luck to survive the game, and thus will be plagued with bad luck for the rest of their lives lol.
Holy crap I remember reading this manga. Omg, I never would’ve thought a movie adaption would be made of it, and that this is how I’d find out. Maybe they’ll do Part Two someday.
That's a first. I had the exact same thought for the blind jump challenge using sound ^^ The amount of effort putting strategies into this baffles me still
In the platform game, even if the others used the mirror, it would take longer to angle it just right to see his hands. The person bending down could answer it in a second. Based on the time, you would know if they lied. The problem is if someone guessed the right answer, he could've been tricked into jumping on the wrong platform.
When I first watched this channel, I was foolish. I laughed and said, this shit will never happen to me. Now, I'm watching these videos multiple times, making survival notes, hoarding supplies in preparation, and earned a black belt in martial arts along with always keeping a make shift weapon on me. Why did you do this to me? Why?
I mean I'm very innovative when it comes to weaponry and I use the environment around me to destroy anyone who gets in my way and talk s*** about my family
21:40 but that's why he's asking "Is my thumb seperated from each other" not "How many finger am I holding up". His other four fingers blocks the sight from left and right. The only way to see it is from down (which is impossible) and front while bending down. It's actually fool proof.
I'm pretty sure the strategy for the first game only works so long as there aren't too many people in your room when the ball drops otherwise you will be crushed regardless of what position your in.
@Bae Liv if the cage were to be crowded like when a lot of them went to one in panic, even if someone sat on the edge they could be crushed by other people as the volume has to go somewhere 🤷♀
@Bae Liv I thought of it like how some people have died getting crushed on concerts, maybe not instant death but it could lead to some pretty bad injuries
No, if one person can survive in a tucked seating position with their legs pointing to the middle of the cage, theoretically everyone could've used all five cages to sit that way and survive. It'll be cramped, but definitely survivable.
I think that was the strategy .. you’re suppose to split it even.. everyone take a chance.. and huddle on the edge.. which is why they demonstrated the cat crush.. you can see there is space.. the challenge is - are you a follower, panicker or can you stay calm under pressure like an evil student mastermind lol
16:45 The human eyes are crazy good at calculations like this, anyone would be able to tell within a second that those slits only show so much (because you can also only see so much trough them). The problem with this however is that the people behind the wall could just hold onto the wall and peek around it, I don't understand why they didn't just do this instead of giving them a mirror.
For the room with the three walls. I would ask the players to lean forward and give me a fist bump. If they cant then thats clear indication they are behind a wall
I was thinking that, but with my palm open. Though we risk a couple things: 1) grabbed by safe zone contestant and pulled to our deaths 2) we don’t know their arm span, they could be too short. 3) fear. You might risk falling and the safe zone person might be too scared to. 4) someone coming up with a plausible imitation of the previous two alibis.
So basically these videos are more “How characters survived in death games” rather than actual new input. “How to survive SAW : don’t piss off Jigsaw”.
When he was in the tube, since his legs were free, he could push his legs against the walls and inch his body upwards until he can put his legs over the edge, laying his body out over the opening, buying a lot more time to solve the problem
I love it when he says "This will be the hardest game yet" like yeah it always ramps up in difficulty every new game will be the hardest yet (most of the time)
With the spinning game, there's two things I can see being able to help you out: 1. If you are forced to stand still the entire time; your centre of balance would be thrown off with the spinning, disorientating you and making the game a lot harder. 2. The coins. Assuming the first part is a rule, and we can't just sit down or bend down to place a coin to tell us which way to go, the second part still means you can use the coins as a point of orientation. If you have three coins, you can probably store them in different parts of your clothes (pockets, sleeves, etc.) to face the dead ends. Even if you have just one coin, having that coin facing the safe zone before it starts spinning, gives you an idea of what to rule out; if the game developers are smart, they'll leave you spun around not facing the safe direction, meaning your odds are more likely that the coin is pointing to a dangerous outcome. With your "friends" telling you to leap towards them, you can probably make safer assumptions that the person who the coin is pointing to, is not safe. There's still risk, of course, but there's risk in everything, and it doesn't seem to be made immediately clear if you'll even live should you lose the game. They could just kill you off if you take too long, or your opponent wins, so it's a weigh up of the risks and odds (and personally, I'd take the risk). How can I be sure that any of them are even safe in the end, if I can't see (taking the sound reverb out of the equation, since leather seems like a thick material that would cancel out noise. Could be wrong in this assumption, but knowing people who can't hear anything and have to read lips, sight and touch can ultimately be more valuable than sound to them) and it's not some risk taking experiment instead (considering how the first game went)? They could set up a wall to keep all routes blocked off; though it's not likely, it's still a possibility I'd be wary of before making a move. Not to mention, we don't know how well the walls would be able to reverberate sound, and if we have several people yelling at us, it makes sound a less reliable means of trust. This is my own stance, of course, and we don't know enough about the scenarios to make a confirmed "100% win" answer to everything, but this is personally how I'd go about things.
Also, with the man saying which coin he has facing him, does that mean Zero could possibly have more than one different valued coin on him? Let's say this is the case; if he memorises each coin, he can probably trick the liars by asking which he sets down (being a single coin at a time). If they get it right, like the guy with the mirror, presumably, the person who's actually the safe way to jump, might catch onto the plan, and lie about the coin values when it's their turn. Again, this is a big risk, but if the safe person LIES despite being able to see the coin, whereas the fakes are telling the truth, three honest people and one liar limits the odds a lot, IF they don't catch onto the trick immediately. It's a big trust exercise between you and the safe person, but it could feasibly work, albeit not with amazing odds. Even if it isn't the case, I don't know how Asian coins are marked (e.g. by year, with names, symbols, etc), but if he asks what's on the reverse side of the coin, the one they can't see, it'll be a lot harder for them to answer in a trustworthy way. If they get help from the staff and are told what's on the other side (especially if it's an iconic coin, like a special coin commemorating an event), their delivery could be incredibly suspicious if not handled correctly. Even if a whole lot of "I don't know" is possible, the liars are trying to earn his trust, and the staff are probably wanting to see how much risk he'll take in trusting their word, so it's possible that some of them will be told the correct answer, and some won't. With how he's already slimmed down the numbers, it means the staff might go one truth, one lie, OR keep them both even. Either way, a lot can be discerned from these answers alone.
@@alexisrox44 To add on, the person who bowed and asked for fingertips, the person on the wall had a 50% chance of getting it right. 50% 3 times I think is around 80%. Not very likely.
I thought of this as well but it simply doesn't work. It doesn't matter if they spin your body or not. Because the coin moves with you, you still have no idea which direction you are facing once you stop. Say the exit was N so you put the coin there. You spin a bunch and you are now facing S. But the coin is too. But you don't know that. The coin would have to stay in one place. It might work if you could count how many times you spun but it spins way too fast for that so this trick is completely useless.
First Game reminds me of exam questions. You don't have to be the ace student who knows it all. All you have to do is knowing: 1) the structure of how to answer the question (especially if it's an essay/report) - what is the nature of the question? Are there any loopholes can you exploit in the exam question? 2) some basic + 10% knowledge of the subject (so know enough and a bit extra) 3) looking back on the topic, what is the main themes or agenda or message, that the school/teacher/education system is looking for you to examine or answer back. Whether or not you choose to follow it, debate it, synthesize it, etc is up to you. 4) Is it an essay, paragraph, or audio response question? Take advantage of the mediums of exam or project submission. Instead of writing a slab of text essay, write headings and sub-headings to prompt yourself and structure your response. Plus it saves your wrist from cramps :) Other than this, Have a Damn Good (Exam) Day. Good Luck.
How To Beat EVERY DEATH GAME In "Zero" *Befriend the main character* *Be the main character* *Follow Cinema Summary's tactics* *Don't join the death game at all and get a normal paying job*
21:52 I'm pretty sure that wouldn't be enough to destroy his plan. If let's say one of the three people with the wall managed to answer the question correctly, that's still 2 options eliminated. And with how fast Shirube came up with his first plan, he had more than enough time to devise a second test to figure which of the remaining two directions was the correct one.
Or, alternatively, just keep testing them - after the third try, the chance they get it correct every time is 1/8 - after the 5th, it's 1/32 - after the 10th, it's 1/1024.
I just realized. The three example dice throws, were all 1s. Three 1s. Then, the final dice throw. Most likely, a 1, if you follow the previous rolls. Thus, four 1s. Cage number 4.
For the first game, I would pick cage number four because that's the one she used as a demonstration. If she was going to demo, it would be number one, or all of them, but if the mechanism has to be reset, then she must have used four because it's the correct answer.
my exact thought process. I also thought that because she did 3 rolls in the demonstration, the correct answer being the 4th roll could make the answer 4. The only clues for ‘observe’ were the demo ball and the amount of rolls.
In the second game i would use my feet to feel the wall other side, i see its not too long for me to stretch my leg to reach the walls AND determine which is the safe zone
@@timmymannies6888 Then ask the person on the other side to lie down and touch their legs with theirs. Of both lie down, they can touch eachother. This is only possible if there is no wall thus save zone
@@TheTechReactor Its best to quickly ask the question multiple times while alternating your thumbs. The chances of them getting it right every single time are slim
with the platform challenge, the only rule from my understanding is that you can't throw anything. why not just take off your pants and whip it off the edge of the platform? you'll be able to feel or hear if it hits anything and it doesn't count as throwing since you never let go of it.
For the 4 plat forms 3 with a wall, I would lay on my stomach and reach my hand out, asking the person on the other end to grab my hand, or touch it in some way, or I could ask them to through their shirt at me, which would be difficult through that slit.
For the platform game, I think the second go was almost perfect. If he found a way to obscure his hands and ask a loaded question, then it would’ve been foolproof. Like if he kept a coin and hid it somewhere on his person, then asked everyone which hand held the coin. That’s not a perfect solution, but that’s the kind of question I’m thinking of. One where if you choose an obvious answer you know they’re lying, and the only one telling the truth would give you a third answer
In the first game, while the assistant shows the ball crushing the lucky cat, it's cage number four. In the end that's the safe cage. That challenge wasn't that hard to crack, if you followed the rules and trusted your observations.
I love how all these "how to beat" videos, whether it's games like this,Squid Game, or even the SAW traps, talk about how easy it would be. The thing is that you only think it's easy BECAUSE YOURE LOOKING AT IT FROM THE OUTSIDE,NOT EXPERIENCING IT PERSONALLY.
Remember, if you’re in any death game, take the role of the main protagonist, because we all know that it’s most likely for the main protagonist to survive
For the platform game, just have each person make a prolonged sound while slowly going and laying down on the platform. That way, you can easily tell if there’s a wall between you and them by whether the sound changes :)
@@LineOfThy a head level small hole. when the wall people would bend down the noise would get muffeled/sound different than the person with no obstacles in the way
Dang, that's a good idea. I was also thinking that asking the person to yell while slowly moving to the side of the platform outside of the window position would also help
because squid game is on netflix and everybody in us has Netflix making it more popular because people in us don’t see any of these movies and these movies/series are so good
For the second game, I would’ve told the people on each side to sing a song and walk back and forth to each side of their playform. That way they would be muffled if they were behind a wall, and I could hear them if they tried to grab the wall and lean to the side because it would put strain on their voice. Specifically I would tell them to do Opera, since the long breaths of an opera performance would put especial strain on their voice
In the platform game, 10 seconds is enough time to look around quickly to see the safe spot, so what I would do is turn towards it if I can, and once the platform starts spinning, I’ll make a mental not of the direction I’m facing during each turn so I could figure out where it is in relation to where I remember the safe spot being, though through this I could still easily die.
@@boom-jr8vi in some way, yeah, maybe even try to stand up and rotate yourself in the opposite direction while the platform is spinning if you’re allowed
For the 4 options game, I would place the coin in the middle of the safe side and then hold it there, making sure I’m stable enough to not fall over and then jump that way
Man, every time I watch a Cinema Summary Video, he starts with "[Insane Deadly Scenario], what would you do?" every time, I think myself. Probably die like on of the extra's.
For the platform game, I would probably just whip my hair around to check which ways have walls. Depending on the sound that I get when I swish it/the feeling of it hitting something, I would choose which one is safe. But this would only work for someone whose hair is ungodly long like mine, so it makes sense that the thief and student didn’t use this , they have short hair after all. Though I may run into some problems if they decide that my hair counts as an object.
For the triangle rooms, the walls are very thin and it is most likely possible to just break out with brute force. This is because when the gangster slightly tapped the wall, it shock with a wobbling manner and it could most likely be broken with a couple kicks.
Game 1: Yes, you could wait until the last minute, but that also risks other people are coming up with the correct solution and taking all the space in the cages where you can survive. I would simply take that place first and take the risk that the others won't realize what I'm doing (for example I wouldn't tuck my legs in yet), or will fight with other people for the space that guarantees survival. Game 2: Yes, one of the lying players could've guessed the kid's choice correctly, that's why you do it 10 times so they have pretty much no chance of always guessing correctly.
For the first one, my thinking for it was that she showed 3 die that all landed on 1, and then showed a 4th one and put it in the goblet/jar. Taking what we saw earlier, we could've made a good decision that it also landed on 1, giving us the choice of standing in 4.
For Quarter Jump, I would tell the player's to go sit on the edge at the middle of their platform and extend their leg. If I can't touch their foot/leg, that's not the safe platform. I don't know if this is against the rules, but another method is I would tell the other players jump onto my platform. For (possibly)extra security, I'd tightly hold their hand while we make our jump to the safety platform. Another method is to get to the edge of the platform, lay down on your belly and slowly slither out towards the other platform with your arm extended. The gap is narrow enough that you should be able to feel if there is a wall there or not. For the triangle room, I'd hoist the tallest player on top of the water tank. That should get the player high enough that they could peer over the wall and thus have an above view of the structure. The player could also climb onto the pipes for that added bit of height. If the pipes aren't strong enough to support the player; the pipes could then be weak enough to break them open, preventing the water from continuing to fill up the tank.
When it comes to the Safe Zone, the material used to make the masks seems denser than your average pillow casing and might absorb sound or repel sound. If there's a problem with my hearing, using soundwaves to gauge distance and density of an area in front of me may not work (although there should be significant differences in soundwaves when talking to a wall, hearing from a wall, and listening to a space without either). The bowing-technique is brilliant and can be asked twice or even three times to ascertain if the player is guessing or can actually see (If you give the speaker only two options, you can easily pull a 'thumbs up' in the same position without adjusting your posture or flexing uncomfortably, and if they could see it, they would know you're not bowing correctly or have the thumbs tucked in). If hearing is a problem, then gauging time to answer is your next best strategy because even a mirror would have to be placed under the player and angled so that the speaker could see it, and pauses with movement would tip the player off. One that I thought up was asking for a handshake or a hug; the distance isn't too far to jump, 1.5-2 feet, and most of the contestants look healthy and have no apparent disabilities that would prevent them from that kind of jump. As far as I analyzed, there was nothing in the rules that didn't say they couldn't jump onto my platform and then return, and the truthful speaker would be more eager to comply than the ones that were lying. The ones lying may try to say 'I'm not allowed to', but the rules were concluded before the game began, so telling me that they can't or won't makes me suspicious. Any emotional blackmail, like claiming they're being held at gunpoint and will be shot if they try to hug me, will sound suspicious and it may be cold for me to insist they try, but three of them are literally luring me to my death. If I'm gambling with my life, I can gamble theirs in that moment as well. Another survival trick when you're lost or don't recognize your surroundings is to check for landmarks. In the room, I saw one chandelier in the shot that showed Zero, all three walls and the Safe zone, and the chandelier is adjacent to the Safe Zone. Even if there was a second one out of the shot that I didn't account for, I can simply ask a player to tell me what is on their left, and what is on their right. This will probably not work since three are actively trying to get me killed and might change up their answer, and I have been given nothing to write on or notate and keep up the answers, but they may not recognize I noticed the chandeliers and may answer truthfully. The room doesn't spin, only I do, so even if I spin, the chandeliers wouldn't change their position. It's something to consider while using a better strategy, but there it is.
4:09 sir, you do realize that they said "eliminate" meaning that even if you made it out alive (avoiding the ball), you would be killed anyway. But anyways, you may also be right about wanting the most potent leader so we may still have a chance. But remember, we are in a death game, so the chances are slim. Edit: so he was right. Nice
For the blind game, wouldn't it be way more simpler to ask the person in the safe zone to stretch their arm towards us so that we can know if they're standing there? The others wouldn't be able to do so since there's no way for them to do so and that would guarantee a victory.
it makes sense... until you consider that after the first time you did this they would probably be given a fake arm similar to what was used to try to trick the player after he won,
@@lunaw2174 if that were me, id pull their arm with all my strength, if it is a fake id notice by either snatching if from them, or noticing by them hiting the wall. If it were real, they'd have to jump to the plataform with me.

In the platform game, even if the others used the mirror, it would take longer to angle it just right to see his hands. The person bending down could answer it in a second. Based on the time, you would know if they lied. The problem is if someone guessed the right answer, he could've been tricked into jumping on the wrong platform.
exactly they had a 50/50 chance of getting it right and he had to do it three times
If i was the gangster i would troll him by saying the wrong answer
But them talking would also tell him if its safe or not because the voice would be behind a wall or offsides of him
well they couldve angled it in preparation once he asked the first one of them.
And I think you would hear the edge of the wall as they try to lean
When I first watched this channel, I was foolish. I laughed and said, this shit will never happen to me.

@Bae Liv +it’s not like they’d get any medical treatment so an injury seems like a death sentence
I feel like the thief is basically someone who has plot armor in their inventory but doesn't need to use it since they already got brains

I was thinking that, but with my palm open.
Though we risk a couple things:
1) grabbed by safe zone contestant and pulled to our deaths
2) we don’t know their arm span, they could be too short.
3) fear. You might risk falling and the safe zone person might be too scared to.
4) someone coming up with a plausible imitation of the previous two alibis.

@@toxicteapot7941 oh. Didn't notice that.
I love it when he says "This will be the hardest game yet" like yeah it always ramps up in difficulty every new game will be the hardest yet (most of the time)
With the spinning game, there's two things I can see being able to help you out:
Bro chill out
I thought of this as well but it simply doesn't work.

All you have to do is knowing:
1) the structure of how to answer the question (especially if it's an essay/report) - what is the nature of the question? Are there any loopholes can you exploit in the exam question?
2) some basic + 10% knowledge of the subject (so know enough and a bit extra)
3) looking back on the topic, what is the main themes or agenda or message, that the school/teacher/education system is looking for you to examine or answer back.
Plus it saves your wrist from cramps :)
Other than this, Have a Damn Good (Exam) Day.

12:26 exactly my thought. If am going to play twice make it 2 mid games cuz if mid is 75% death rate then I don't want whatever is in hard
I love rewatching these
For the first one, my thinking for it was that she showed 3 die that all landed on 1, and then showed a 4th one and put it in the goblet/jar.
Alr let's be real, I would never think this thoroughly through while in a death game
maybe some people could survive the 1st and 2nd, but ain't no way i'm doing high school trigonometry in the middle of a death game
I legit just guessed 4 in the first game 💀💀💀
Can’t wait for part 2
I almost choke at my brrakfast watching thisxD omfg the amount of "that must be trick!" Is hilarious😂
4:09 sir, you do realize that they said "eliminate" meaning that even if you made it out alive (avoiding the ball), you would be killed anyway.
