Good morning Lumnah Acres family. Enjoying the video. Takes a lot of work to get ready to pour cement. Looks good. Thanks for sharing. Have a great weekend.
Gooooooood Morning Gene. It sure can.
Good morning from Siesta Key Florida.
Made it with no damage and inches of rain
Gooooooood Morning Bill. Glad to hear that.
Good morning, Bill - Not so a good friend in St. Petersburg - 3' of water, house contents and walls destroyed. At least the shell is still there.
Good Day from Kamakura, Japan! 🇯🇵 Hello Lumnah Acres Family & Friends! Have a great weekend everyone! 👍🏾🤩🐶

@@samvalentine3206Good morning SAM ❤❤❤and GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR WIFE ❤❤❤🙏
Gday Al, maybe you should get some polarising glasses/sunglasses to mitigate the glare when working with incidental light on your windscreen?
All ways looking forward to your you tube video many thanks 🙏👍
You guys ever go back to beginning just watch to see where you came from. It's amazing doing a great job.
Gooooooood Morning Barry. We have.
Al has poured a lot of concrete, first was for the outdoor kitchen at the old farm.
Good morning from the Nederlands europe
Following you guys since 2019 and im always excited for your new projects 😽💪🏻!!
Good morning my friends at Lumnah it seems all is well this morning and it seems like a beautiful day. This is a Cajun from Louisiana, I see the supervisor Brutus is making sure that the job is being done right. Hope you all have a blessed and great day
❤ gosh you have completed a great project so far. ... you have certainly been busy over the summer and now autumn heading to winter. Wishing all works out for you. You work so hard to get it up top notch
Al ,how will you remove the animal waste.Shovel ??.SEMPER FI
Good morning Gina Oliver Allan and Brutus and all the animals from a sunny ☀️😎 Saturday morning 28th September
Gooooooood Morning Nigel.
Nice 'cliffhanger'. Got to wait til Tuesday to see the pour and find out if you beat the rain!
And we must wait to see all the mishaps that happen, but we know it will all work out in the end.
6:18 I appreciate that Al plans out all the projects around Gina's needs and desires and "her favourite things to do". This time: tying rebar. Well done! 😀😎
🎉 Good morning... love when you show the animals... Love seeing the Barn Cats...🎉
Hi from Watford in the UK. I hope your weather people are good at forcasting rain AFTER the concrete pour. Wouldnt trust our weather man to be that accurate 48 hrs ahead,
Good morning AL AND GINA AND LADY O. Love watching your vlogs and FRIDAY SHOPTALK 67.
Love & PRAYING. Hows the Queen HOPE?
Miss seeing her, and Daisy.
Thank you AL and GINA

Good morning, Evalina!
Gooooooood Morning Evalina. Hope and daisy are doing well.
Al's Construction..We build it better...I like that
Good morning Al and Gina! Glad to see the weather holding off so you can make some good progress on your runs. Here in central N.C. we have had flooding, trees down, some tornado damage, 3 deaths. Western N.C. has really been hit hard. Severe flooding, mudslides and major roads have severe damage. Much like what you had experienced earlier this year. Some of our friends are stuck in their homes with no way down the mountains til the roads get fixed. It's a mess but there are people already in place working this morning to begin to help. Pray for our water rescuers, linemen and others who are out there this morning risking their lives. Of course we are also remembering the rest of the nation as we all begin to recover. Hugs from N.C..❤
Good morning, Marin - positive thoughts and blessings to those in need since the hurricane/tropical storm passed. So sorry to hear of the deaths... 🙏
@samvalentine3206 thank you Sam!
Good morning, everyone!!
Good morning, Chris!
Gooooooood Morning Chris
Ok Al I guess the next project could be your tool room !❤
Good mauhnin Lumnah Acres and friends!
Goooood morning Lumnach acres family
You have to tie in the old to the new concrete drill and rebar
Took the words out of my mouth. Those slabs need to be tied together
It is just a Barn, no need for attaching both slabs, if a split causes issues' it can be sealed with silicone or something similar, Al will likely use concrete saw to direct relief cracks anyway, like he did, after pouring Shop and Barn floors !
@@4Classiefool
@Coyote; Sad Sack !

Yep despite what some think that slab needs to be tied to the other. Over time It can pull away from the other slab and move up and down too. Especially where it is close to his run off . Its ok though cause its not mine its Al and Ginas and they still do amazing work. Its probably already poured by now anyway. Lol
Have a good weekend.🦋🎉☺❤💙
Good morning Al, Gina, Olivia and all the Lumnah friends and extended family. We are praying for everyone affected by the hurricane.
Good morning y'all from the south of Texas. Make or get yourself a good breakfast, it'll keep your smile energized app day. My breakfast will be tacos.
Good morning, Eric - Enjoy those tacos!
I am always amazed by Al's building abilities.. The new additions to the Castle Barn will be put to good use throughout the years to come.. Lumnah and Wild wonderful channels are my favorites . I've watch you kids build your dream homesteads and the ride along has been absolutely incredible..Through good & bad you all have prevailed.
God bless and keep up the great work. We all will be watching...praying for good health, prosperity for a successful life..❤
Love you guys..

It's been a real wet cold summer here..🤬
Between Al and Ken, these guys are the masterclass of floating slabs for us NE DIY'rs!
Good morning from Gatwick wishing everyone a great and peaceful weekend 🎉🎉🎉
Good morning, Jim!
Gooooooood Morning Hyland
My dad built bridges, so as soon as we were 14 we went to work for him. A bridge deck gets two layers of rebar a 12" O.C. I remember long summer days tying rebar all day long. It is no fun!
Good Morning Al, Gina and Olivia! It raided all day yesterday here in Germantown, Ohio. Remnants of the hurricane. Lord of trees down but no flooding. Prayers for Ben and Jason.
Gooooooood Morning glad you are ok. Yes hopefully they are safe
Good morning guys !! Great job always a great team effort!! Have a great weekend god bless!! Stay blessed all!
Good morning, Eric!
Hi have you considered investing in the rebar tieing drill its much faster and as you have other buildings in the pipeline it would be nice investment. Cole the 🌽 corn star 🌟 brought and demonstrated it .
What a lucky guy you are Al, Such a willing helper Gena is. A wee bit o attitude in there as well. A job well done up to now. This is when it gets interesting. Bet you Brutus will want to stick his oar in as well.. Buying in bulk is the way to go. Never short always just enuf wae a wee bit extra. Thanks for vid. Lookn forward to the next one. later
Great JOB Gina and Al. Major changes for farm animals and wow can't wait to see how it all works. God is Blessing you all.
Good morning Lumnah family ☕️
Great job, team work makes the dream work 😎👍
Good morning, Joseph!
Let the pour begin. Can't wait to see Gina working concrete in rubber boots & hope she gets to operate the power concrete finisher as she loves operating the dirt/gravel power compactor.
I don't know, Gina. Al has all these "my's" in his life. He probably owes you big time. :)
Do you's have the concrete trucks that have shoots to direct the flow of the concrete as they pour? Less labor for you's to manually spread out. 👍🙂
Please don't forget to make your slab alittle sloped as pigs tend to make a wet spot. Love your videos. Keep up the great work.
Brutus was a big puppy but as a young dog he just seems to keep growing and filling out. By the time he is in that 2 to 3 year range, he will be huge!
Good Morning Lumnah World! That view looking from the barn out is great!
Hallo from South Africa! Thank you for another lovely video!
if you buy something today for future use. you will be saving the cost of the increase of cost tomorrow.
Hey Al, Gina beat you, fair and square, with the hand tool for those ties!! 😂
Great job preparing for the cement. Can’t wait to see the final product.
Isn't it dangerous for the cows with all the rocks in the pasture
It’s so funny my dog Brutus perks up every time he hears “Brutus” on the video ❤
That poor flail mower takes an awful beating.
You really work good together! The critters are going to enjoy their new extension.
❤Brutus is the best. Look forward to your next video🙏🙂
Just a suggestion. You have a ton of stone. Use them as props for the rebar.
Tried your camp fire decaf for the first time this morning.. I like it!😊
Al and Gina should have a coffee blend called “Giving it the beans”.
I just love the drive and energy of you two, Al and Gina.
I love ALL Lumnah Acres videos!
Goooooood mooooorning AL, Gina and Olivia fellow viewers and all my friends Hoodie from Jamaica 🇯🇲. Wow, can you imagine it's the weekend already❤❤. How are you guys doing? Hopefully, you were not affected by that storm
Good morning, Lloyd!

Good morning Al and Gina, have a good day.
G’day 😊 aw those barn cats are so cute! ❤ great to see them full of beans and enjoying life 😊👍
Gooooooood Morning Agnes. They sure are fun to watch
Good evening, Agnes - The new kitties are cute, but no one can fill Figaro's shoes!
@@samvalentine3206 G’day Sam 😊 that’s very true! We are all left we a Figaro shape missing in our hearts. Hope you’re having a great weekend
Hello there, Agnes!
Hopefully your concrete goes well.
It's coming together nicely !
Gina I like the way you think lol
Good morning everyone here at Lumnahs . Can't wait to see it finished. Stay safe everyone
Good morning, Richard!
@samvalentine3206 good morning Sam I hope you're having a wonderful day
Good morning and good work you two ❤
Gina is pretty tough on you Al.
Gooooooood Morning Randy. She can be. 😂
Good morning, guys!
not sure how much concrete work your going to be doing but the rebar tie guns are worth it
About 5 more Concrete pours were discussed, don't know how big, when or what for, but a pad down by compost pile, a pad at the side of Barn where the Tractor attachments are, a pad on opposite side (front) of Barn, a pad on side of Shop, think an apron pad in front of Shop !

Awesome video!
Good morning!! ❤🙏🫶

Why use re-bar instead of mesh? In the UK this would have been drop a couple of sheets of mesh in and job done?
Al has used Cattle Panels, before, he already had the Rebar, but the best modern Rebar is using Fiberglass Rebar, for Never having rust deterioration issues !
A plant in Ohio makes them and Letsdig18's side-kick 'Bealy Good' on You-Tube has been using the Fiberglass Rebar building his house !
Municipalities should never use steel rebar again !
Hello from France
Gooooooood Morning France
Good morning Lumnah Acres!
Good morning, Carol!
Gooooooood Morning Carol
Al,i would have brought it out further too where you have cleaned and levelled?
Lots of Snow will fall from roof piling-up there, also Al talked about putting underground Cold-Cellar/Potato-Cellar combination in that hillside, plus maybe a Refrigerated Cold Storage room !
When are you going to hook up the radiant heat in the shop. Before winter sets in?
Needed before deep freeze' so later this year, figure around Thanksgiving !
❤😊

Good morning, and have a wonderful
Good morning, Travus!
Good Morning from Michigan. We have a full day as well. Work doesn’t end it just changes day to day.
Is there some reason you don't have a safety guard on the grinder? Saw another homesteading channel user cut himself quite badly a couple of weeks ago.
I had a grinders wire-wheel fly-off, at work, well-over 20 years-ago, was wearing only safety googles, was Not wearing face-mask and wire-wheel took a bit of skin off of the tip of my nose, finally' can only notice if looking very close, had to go home from work and didn't work for a few days to heal, but was no need for a Physician !

Does Bruntwork wear make work wear for women. And I love how your homestead is evolving, especially the land. Some small shubs around the yard would look so nice. And is the door window to the shop going to get the red paint off ever or is it for privacy.
The best Rebar tie-er i've seen is a handle ( like a screwdriver - size ) that spins, You take one tie and bend into 'U' shape and hook a hole, then move under where Rebar T's - to then hook second hole, pull as it spins, done, next, So' no heavy drill to carry and can easily beat getting 6 done per minute !
I saw a post from the Hollars saying they were ok but haven’t seen anything from Sow the land. Any news?
Gooooooood Morning. I haven’t heard yet
@@LumnahAcres I’m always here watching, just quiet. Thank you! I know it’s bad in that area.
Some sites used small cast blocks to position the depth of the rebar when paying foundations, often making them on site as a 'preparation' stage a day or so before the rebar was laid in.
Plastic chairs instead !
@@4Classiefool
A lot of steps to get ready for a concrete pour. Y'all did a great job doing that. It seems you have several supervisors on the job site...a dog, a cat and a couple of cows. They are definitely keeping you on the ball. Have a Blessed weekend everyone.
BRUTUS!!! lol poor dog he just wanted to pway LOL
What happen your other dogs
Home-bodies !
Just wanted to let you know how much we love you all. Been watching since the beginning and we both have learned so much. I do miss seeing Olivia but she is a teenager now so we understand. She has turned into a beautiful young lady just like Gina. And Gina you have come a long way learning how to build along side Al.
Consider placing aprons at each end of the existing barn door openings at the same time as placing the addition.

Good morning Sam
Good 🌄 morning, Annette!
Al if you put a culvert in that ditch, you could soil and grass over it your concrete pad would then open into pasture
Or they can walk thru the ditch or even a small animal bridge for the Pigs, because the Cattle travel thru the gate, Chickens don't care where they walk or if they fly it would be nifty !

On the outside level out a roadway to give room for hay bales and even the cement truck.
