Seriously? Man oh man,,,, I know how that feels. I had a 690CS do the same exact thing. Luckily Deere took care of it and me with a loaner machine while mine got a brand new engine.
Kudos to the creativity and editing, With so many camera angles and camera operators. All managing to blend together in telling the story. Besides what advantage is their to like the video to the viewer. When it just is there to put more funding into the kitty.
WOOT LOVE HARVEST TIME!! Just think long hours waiting for the rain and the first breakdown (the overloaded dump cart did not count, as it is JUNK! LMAO.
You can increase the capacity of your cart it will be a little pricey But all you need to do Is increase the diameter of the cylinders by a 1/2” Or to 1 inch larger diameter and you should be able to bury it, and it will still liftwith ease Just make sure to increase the barrel size and the rod size so it won’t buckle. That is quite a long cylinder. The shaft can be hollow to keep the weight down but heavy wall tubing There are shops around that could custom make them for you in a reasonable time frame
I used to help design and build custom harvesting equipment I really enjoyed doing that type of work A simple piece of rubber belt can extend your reach on your cart when dumping with out damaging the trailer or the tarp support rods You could also place a camera mount on it so you can see what is left and what it looks like going into the grain trailers Ok have fun I always loved harvesting and trying out new equipment sometimes it was good and sometimes a nightmare New equipment field conditions, crop conditions is the weather gonna help you or hurt you or has it already done the damage
That bean buggy looks and unloads like a peanut buggy except the peanut buggy extends over the semi more. I guess you could fabricate a side extension pretty easily.
Lot's of bins equals more crop storage..the Larson's on the top tier of farming. Black Beans are such a pain, I'm surprised you grow them...I guess they pay well.
By my calculations they are getting $725 an acre based on current market price and using 2800 lbs an acre. What we don't know is what their cost per acre to grow is.
yes, or maybe a lack of oil pressure preventing the cylinders from pushing the load over the top. I don't know about raising black beans but they look like they may be a difficult crop to manage because of the many variables mentioned.I hope the 2800lbs/acre rang the cash register.
Thank You Chet, Dougo, Eric, Brody and Jordan👏 One small field down, now the bigger ones, You guys got this🤞 Work smart, not harder👍 PLEASE Be Safe ALL of you🤗
Interesting on not being able to dump. Do you have your hydraulic pressure maxed out? I seem to remember having to crank it up on an old 4020 to dump a similar silage box 40 years ago.
Chet, you were inquiring about a wi-fi upgrade. Down here, E.Tenn. we have AT&T and I have the AT&T Air which is a receiver globe that sits at an unobstructed window and it works fine.
Just a thought here, why not install a winch/cable lift while the erection process is happening? Future forethought for when gear boxes or other items need to be hoisted 100 feet. Seems like the black bean crop is more of a pain in the wazoo than for what it's worth to harvest. I'd pass.
We use those tipping hopper a lot for grape harvesting down here in NZ. Some designs have a weak spot, the tilt cylinder ram speer. Always go for the biggest diameter shaft as the smaller diameter ones can have a tendency to buckle and fail! 3 inch is a good size! for the rod.
Why don't guys look on putting a winch on one of your bins to take tools up and down with a basket attached to it. That would be much safe than man handling everything.
To be honest, I'm too lazy to read through all the Comments so far but now that the dump part of the dump trailer is away from the unload auger, have you given any thought to putting a 12 to 18 inch extension to the dump lip? Yes I know it's going to make the Bucket a little heavier and harder dump for those weak hydraulics but it would help you get the beans closer to the center of the trailer and give the big Swede a little bit more room to work with when unloading, just a thought from a non-farmer. Keep up the great videos can't wait for more and can't wait to see that bin finished.
For thr new small bin dump cart What if you welded a piece of 1/2 plate to the lip closest to the truck so so it extends the flange and gives you the ability to say the same distance between the bin and the trailer but when it tips gives you that extra couple of inches so you don’t have spill
I would put bigger cylinders. As well I'd put a lip on the box so u can dump further to center. I'd also fab the box to always stay up at the higher level. So the black bars are always extended. And buiLD supports so u can travel through the field. Will make it easier to get close to the truck.
@@gregjames5070 I watched the whole video and no one cares about your opinion. Then I called your mom. She said that's been a problem u have had since a child.
Hey cheet, awesome start to the season. I'm curious if there's anyway to add a short lip to the the dump cart edge, that way the beans can slid out farther in the center of the truck. Best of luck on harvest fellas
Those carts work great with chopped corn and grass those beans must be real heavy for that cart not to go up we run a two hundred horse power tractor on our carts we have no problem dumping into trucks
Can you swing the drawbar to the left to offset the cart so the tractor isn’t so close?
😅no better place to be waiting opt a hurricane than watching Larson Farms Videos!
Watching this and knowing Brody’s combine grenaded the engine today is wild
Dang...
Seriously? Man oh man,,,, I know how that feels. I had a 690CS do the same exact thing. Luckily Deere took care of it and me with a loaner machine while mine got a brand new engine.
I was about to say the same thang
Sad thing is you’re not even exaggerating. Pieces of that engine went into orbit or at least the upper atmosphere
The tint and the tippy spout didn't last long 😂
Sure do appreciate your uploads! Beats anything on t.v. any day!
yes sir
Hope your harvest season goes well. Mines gone the crap already. If its not raining, equipments breaking... the joys of farming!
Chet posted on Snap a video of Brody's combine with a blownup engine. Block split in half with cylinder sleeve outside the engine.
Ya. It’s not going good for them. Brody’s combine sent engine parts to space.
Great video, Chet and Larson Farms! Awesome work!!!!
Glad to see that you call the noon meal dinner. What I have always called the noon meal dinner
me too. Used to hear it all the time in my area of Tennessee and now I'm about the only one who still calls it that
Lunch is something you put in a brown bag. Dinner at noon supper in the evening for sure at our house.
Come on Chet! You are from Minnesota, you know that’s not a BIG cottonwood!
Chet Dougo Eric Broodie and Jordan great job thank you for sharing and your time
"They misspelled junk" LOL
Always enjoy your videos, Chet. Thanks for sharing. Stay safe. Be well. Victor (Arkansas}
Use a smaller tractor for the bean cart and rig a camera up on a poll so you can see into the trailer?

Amen! Chester always whines!! Born with a silver spoon and still wants you to feel sorry for him...poor little rich kid! Hey chet: gfyslf
@beentheredonethat3925 from the definition. It is you who is having the wine. How much beer did you actually drink 🍸
That was a good view because I could see nerves and excitement in Chet’s face. That was a good yield for the first field.
Awesome video Chet. Doesn't seem that it should be this late in the year yet. Be safe running the equipment this year. 🚜🚜🚜
Best video yet. Riveting.
I have to admit, I wasn’t expecting that coming! Totally surprised me.
Do not overfill the "bean" cart!
and the black bean experiment continues.....
WOOT LOVE HARVEST TIME!! Just think long hours waiting for the rain and the first breakdown (the overloaded dump cart did not count, as it is JUNK! LMAO.
Dougo's harvest words of wisdom!!! Great episode fellas

Or just get the right tool for the job. They could buy a kinze cart with the belt conveyer for less than your piss ignorant plan.

They blew up the engine on one of the combines!
I see comments on this and watched is there another vid of this being talked of and shown im so curious lol hope they get a new engine put in her
Instagram. It just happened today.
Yeah the one they just traded for
That new bin.. Wow.. That's a big unit to jack!
What was the engine oil leak on air force one that was coming out the breather tube?
Eric, you're doing a great job.
Chet you are a very hard worker and your dad is fun to listen to have a safe harvest God bless you all
Those black beans seem like a pain in the you what to raise
That bean buggy looks and unloads like a peanut buggy except the peanut buggy extends over the semi more. I guess you could fabricate a side extension pretty easily.
Dougo jaw jacking. lol
Be safe this harvest

They're around $28.00
need some bigger cylinders on the dump cart.

Watching you guys washings tractors reminds me of watching
Car Wash (1976) movie same thing watch it ha ha ha enjoy.
4:07
2:16 / 2:35
Car Wash (1976)
Can you extend the lip on the dumping side? It may allow for extra distance
That dump cart reminds me of running the boll buggy in cotton.
I bet the Cornstar family wishes they had gone with your bin builder
Thank You Chet, Dougo, Eric, Brody and Jordan👏 One small field down, now the bigger ones, You guys got this🤞 Work smart, not harder👍 PLEASE Be Safe ALL of you🤗
WHEN YOU THANKED THE LORD ~ I STAND w/YOU IN THAT STATEMENT !!!!!!!
No pics of Brady’s excitement? 🙁
Cause this video isn't from today
How would that be possible? When this video was out before it happened
I imagine they utilize the scale's numbers to update their combine calibration? Non-farmer here.
3:44 the black auger wagon in the background 🤨🤨
what was the reason for AF1 puking oil last season ? I didn't see an outcome . Ty
Should try offsetting the tractor hitch to the side to get the cart closer to the trucks
Should upgrade that dump cart to an old Byron or oxbo dump cart. They have 2 cylinders for lifting and 2 for tipping. Plus they lift higher.
Yeah that was last year that it was so dusty that you had trouble seeing as you were combining.
new add on option for the Miller Pro,
the Chet Body Scoop
sweet
Did Titan machinery ever offer to do a CASEIH demo of an Af10 combine on your farm?
There has to be a valve or reducer inline somewhere restricting those rams
Ask your bin builder how many bolts are used.
Ok he just answered in the video, less augers for black beans
Chet you have to put bigger rams on dump cart
Swede nice job you didnt spill any yet. Guys be very safe out there. Nice to see that small bin going up.
Nice to see the cart working well -(minus that one refusal to dump)
“We’ll see how this season goes.” If only you knew what was coming…. By the sounds of it an X9 demo😂
Big Swede misspelled junk😂😂
Go to the red river valley and get a spudnik commodity cart. It has belts in it.
Ok this may be a stupid question but why do you kill your black beans? Is that how you harvest them?
Interesting on not being able to dump. Do you have your hydraulic pressure maxed out? I seem to remember having to crank it up on an old 4020 to dump a similar silage box 40 years ago.
Dump cart is rated for 400 bu of wheat @60 lbs.
Yes that cart is junk.
Chet keepus updated on you and Jean's new house.
Why don’t they put cross stabilization bars inside,? Oh and put grain monitors on said bars! What do I just a stupid truck driver…
Chet, you were inquiring about a wi-fi upgrade. Down here, E.Tenn. we have AT&T and I have the AT&T Air which is a receiver globe that sits at an unobstructed window and it works fine.
Did you Ram Truck guys here the rumor that they are done making Ram trucks they are not producing any more trucks you Ram guys may have to buy Ford 😂
Idea for the dump cart, hang a chuck of hydraulic hose off the hinge pin so you know where the edge of its at and it won’t harm the trailer
Cool to see you harvest a crop to be used for human consumption
Just a thought here, why not install a winch/cable lift while the erection process is happening? Future forethought for when gear boxes or other items need to be hoisted 100 feet. Seems like the black bean crop is more of a pain in the wazoo than for what it's worth to harvest. I'd pass.
Ok don't listen but u have to dump on the opposite side of the trap on trailer ok

It's too bad you can't use your bottom dumps that would work on your dump cart there 🇺🇸
To be honest, I'm too lazy to read through all the Comments so far but now that the dump part of the dump trailer is away from the unload auger, have you given any thought to putting a 12 to 18 inch extension to the dump lip? God will keep the tornados away.
Do you guys do any corn scouting or crop estimates?
Well up here the people that use black beans got green cards it's got a belt on the bottom and belt for unloading auger
We use kmc nut buggy in south east Alabama we it for corn soybean sorghum peanuts and it’s a lot bigger than that little buggy
Just a thought, is it possible to larger diameter hydraulic cylinders on the dump cart so that you could lift and dump a full cart.
How about if you weld a 4 to 6” lip on the unload side ? Now after the closeup, looks like somebody already added one.
I would put bigger cylinders. As well I'd put a lip on the box so u can dump further to center. I'd also fab the box to always stay up at the higher level. So the black bars are always extended. And buiLD supports so u can travel through the field. Will make it easier to get close to the truck.
I watched the whole video and not a single person asked what you would do. 😂😂😂🤡
@@gregjames5070that's because a longer lip will destroy the bows on the trailer.
@@gregjames5070 I watched the whole video and no one cares about your opinion. Then I called your mom. She said that's been a problem u have had since a child.
More JD junk, Time to get a red one. The new ones are great.
@@watermanone7567 I can agree with you
The new red ones are junk too.
@@watermanone7567 no, idk what your talking about,
@@CadenBult That is because I did NOT ask you. Mind your own business.
@@gregjames5070 Do you own one to compare them?
Thank god that helps with all the pain and water this year let’s pray for more good news to come Please be safe in the fields guys. And god bless
I wonder if a live bottom or belted trailer would be better for black beans.
first lets goooo harvest time !!!!!
Hey cheet, awesome start to the season. I'm curious if there's anyway to add a short lip to the the dump cart edge, that way the beans can slid out farther in the center of the truck. Best of luck on harvest fellas
I'd send that cart packing!
How are you going to get the combines to calibrate to the correct weight. Is it a chip that needs to be replaced or a board that is dried and cracked.
"Never the less" NOT "none the less".
Need Dougo to take the excavator and remove that lone tree at the field entrance.
Just get another harvester it is just money
You still need a big flap on that edge of the cart
Just here for the armchair experts.
Those carts work great with chopped corn and grass those beans must be real heavy for that cart not to go up we run a two hundred horse power tractor on our carts we have no problem dumping into trucks
New Grain Bin... Awesome
Where's the new intro lol
Misspelled junk. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Great video good to see y'all
There must be a pressure adjustment to dump a full load.
God bless you 😮😮😮😮😮😮
