I moved my first plant to Pon three months ago, I think. Since then I’ve moved 14 more over. My black velvet just gave me leaf the size of my hand and its roots out grew its pot soooo quickly. You’re videos gave me the confidence/ knowledge to move that plant to pon and I’m so so happy I did. Pon takes a lot of error out of growing so many plants b/c im such an underwaterer!
Very useful. Thank you. I am currently using 2 Lecuza Deltini for Porthos and they work great. I have been looking for smaller ones for 2 mini Orchids.
I just like the bitter flavor of coffee. Even if i drink decaf, i enjoy it. Cold coffee with cinnamon dolce 😋 i have made some self-watering pots for my sensitive plants. So far they are doing fine.
The first two plants I’d put in to that pot would be my variegated maranta and my calathea feathers. They are two to at always have crispy tips. I am 98% sure I’d try this. I think you’ve got me converted.
I am very happy about this video. Thank you! So very helpful. I would love it if you had a BEST Trellis video. I need wide ones for my hoya, so hard to find! Anyway, which pot would be your favorite for Hoya of the self watering pots? Or do you not put them in self watering? Much obliged!!
I’m so glad you found this helpful! It took a lot of trial and error to find pots I liked. For Hoyas id either the starter version or these if you have in pon amzn.to/4fF5pqS or these for soil amzn.to/4i9KopM
Ok, so as I've added a lot of semi-hydro to my collection, I've done the self watering pots with the indicators (that always get stuck) and a lot of clear nursery pots in cache pots, but what I find easiest but definitely not pretty is just my nursery pots with a filled saucer so I can see when it's empty. How do you see or know in those 3D printed pots when your water reservoir is dry? Do you have to lift up each plant to look? Or just ques from the plant that it's thirsty? I like to be able to scan the rooms, so I can see who's empty. So solid reservoirs on a lot of plants seem a bit trickier.
Just found your channel. Your plants are beautiful! I don’t use PON, but I use soilless soil for my aroids and some are in Naked Root Planter. So far no algae, but I am not sure what is “to wet” for Alocasia. Some always want water, where some do not. I guess it’s like children they aren’t all the same.
I actually started using API’s Algaefix in my clear self watering planters with every watering and that definitely seems to help with the algae growth!
Hi Claudia! I ordered a few pots from Rare Plant Bae the other day after hearing you talk about them so often. I love pon so I’m excited to try them out! Just an fyi, your discount code doesn’t work on the website. I ordered them anyways lol, but just thought I’d let you know in case others also can’t use the discount code! Very helpful video btw 😊
I’ve never drunk coffee except when I sat for a friends attempt to get her black apron at. Starbucks. She took extra classes to learn. Part of being there was to taste some coffee. It was vile!! That was the mild one. I couldn’t do the bold one. It was much stronger. But I was there for her

Thanks for the info!😊
So glad you enjoyed! 😊
Thank you for this report I’ve been thinking if trying pon. So this is very handy for me.
So glad you found it helpful 😊
I remember watching in the water straw. How often do you Ned to replace the water in the bottle.
I haven’t beefed to replace the water at all. It’s clean and clear and gave only refilled twice. It’s so easy going

I’m curious about transferring plants from soil to on. Do you have the video? Or is it pretty close back in your videos that I could find it.

Please report back if you try!
I loveee iced matcha! Something I’ve noticed is that hot matcha isn’t nearly as sweet as my iced version although I hardly use any ice.
I still need to try some hot recipes, I wonder why?!

That’s so sweet of you! To be fair I don’t like Starbucks, super unpopular opinion but I find it very bitter
