You're missing sections of the water gauge: the skinny "straw" that bobs plus the clear window that tops the black-and-white tube.

From personal experience, I left mine in water for two weeks, furst week it did great but second week all soil roots rotted. Don’t think you’re off the hook. Better to cut off all soil roots and stick in water and get all new water roots. I’m almost sure those roots will melt in another couple of weeks but you took out of water too soon. Keep us posted

@@yolyrom7233this is my question! I can’t find information. Is it better to just water prop it prior to placing in pon and get a good set of water roots?

Add some mycorrhizal bacteria powder to the water on your next plant but you could put some in all your plants reservoir. They would love it

Alocasias do well in pon first year. As they mature pon is not the best in my opinion. Let us know in one year how they’re doing

The water gauge is incomplete! you're missing the red indicator that floats inside and the clear tube that covers it!

  • @officiallypatty

That gauge is missing it’s top half. I would call wherever you got it from and get a working one.
