I believe with all my soul that Korg needs to hire Jim and make an ultimate groovebox called the Electribe Groove Rider that is literally just a hardware GR16. I wish I lived in that timeline.

Love this app and disagree with some of the comments that it isn't up to snuff sound wise. It's the best groovebox on iOS and it's super versatile if you spend time with it. Love Pure Acid 2

Hi Doug … I hope you and Jo had a good Christmas. I am trying to get my head around 2 apps and since you have done videos on both I thought I might ask you for some help. Do Groove Rider GR-16 and Drambo 2 have similar uses? Is one of them better for live performance? Thanks.
IS it possible to midi map the part selector buttons as well? I can't seem to figure that one out.
I want this application to play drum rhythm while singing on guitar..I want to use rhythm like boss Rhythm Loop Station..Are there drum loops in this application?
I’ve had Grooverider for awhile i hardly use it. It’s a good app just doesn’t sound on par with other synth apps or even Pure Acid. It’s ok, just lacks something that keeps me coming back to it. I install then delete, then install it. It’s a love hate. I hope the updates keep coming. I would love to see a modular interface like Pure Acid. It seems it tries too hard to be like the hardware Electribe instead of using cool features that software allows. I would love to see Magic keyboard integration for shortcuts and play/stop. Ect Still i like the app ok. Thank you for the Great, as always, video.

GR-16 sounds as good as you want it to be. Your comment doesn't make sense tbh. As long as you use a decent audio interface with your iOS devices, audio quality should be as good as the samples you use.

Hi everybody, late to the party here. I'm enjoying the app, but I can't figure out how to change tempo. Under pattern, most of the parameters (Length, Rhythm Base, Swing, etc) open up drop-down menus when you hold them. When I hold the Tempo parameter, nothing happens, no drop-down. It just sits there. And I can't see any other way to change the tempo. Am I missing something, or do I have a bad copy of the app or something? Thanks!
Hi, when you have tempo highlighted, you use the DATA jog wheel to change tempo, you can find on the left hand side, just above the RECORD button.
Depending on what parameter you have selected, you can use jog wheel for lots of different things.
I agree, not the most obvious thing in the world.

Can you record knob turns in real time, like, hit record then turn the pitch knob and affect the hi hat sound, then turn off record and the tweaking will be captured?
