    Could you go into more detail about how many packs of hair you used and how you distributed the different lengths on the wig? Like did you use the 20 inches at the top or the bottom?

    Nice work! The Freetress Bundles are a much cheaper option to spending crazy amounts on human. I wished they would come up with better closures though to match the hair.

      Aldejha Loggins In the video I actually had it rested on my head w/ bobby pins. Depending on your head size, the cap fits snug around the nape. But usually I sew the wig on one long braid around my head

    didto, I just got done watching your video and I too was thinking the same thing on the part where your camera is on 03:26, I was thinking, "what happen? why did she stop showing what she's doing?" you completely can't see a thing on what it is your doing. like if I wanted to make this wig I would be stuck. its like watching a cooking show and cooking along with them and when the commercial goes off and your cooking show is back on they show the completed meal, its like what? they completely left out the rest of the recipe and they're now showing you what the dinner looks like..eek! you left out the heartbeat of the last few steps honey..please do this over, please. Thank you!!! Yakisha S.

    • @TheBrilliantBeauty

  • @ChundraRam04
    @ChundraRam04 10 років тому

    I bought the Thai bundle because my store did not have it. But I use your method and with a few adjustments it will be perfect. I just have to leave some more hair out and add combs. It took me 2hrs! LoL.

    • @TheBrilliantBeauty
      @TheBrilliantBeauty  10 років тому

      LOL! I'm used to making them faster now and I'm comfortable with the glue gun. I guess it will take more time for a first timer or someone who does it less often but it really is a fraction of the time of sewing (I HATE sewing wigs). I've always wanted to try the Thai; let me know how it turns out!

    • @ChundraRam04
      @ChundraRam04 10 років тому

      The Brilliant Beauty The Thai hair is beautiful but I had to flat iron it and put some curls in it to soften it up. I like your method because I am a freelance graphic designer and I don't always have time to sew.

    THX SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO I am now confident that I can make a wig. how do u protect your hair so the glue wont go down to the hair?

    • @TheBrilliantBeauty
      @TheBrilliantBeauty  10 років тому

      Hi hun, the glue is on the cap. Some ladies do the process w/ the cap on their head, in which case they use a shower cap or something to keep the glue off their hair. However, the dome cap method is a bit diff. than the regular "quick weave" and works best when done on a wig head (much easier).

    Amazing for several reasons. First, it looks good. Second, that you did it that fast...my U-part wigs take me forever to do...I need to stop being so meticulous like you...lol. • @TheBrilliantBeauty
      @TheBrilliantBeauty  10 років тому

      Starasia So-Ambitious Hey Starasia, it seems like you have a problem w/ the dome caps not fitting generally. You may want to research caps that better fit your head. You can do a quick UA-cam search for that.

    • @SwaggMissezz09
      @SwaggMissezz09 10 років тому

      The funny thing about it is put the cap on first it was fitted everything. I put it on the mannequin head did the u part wig. And when I went to put it bag on my head it was as if it was not shaped to my head anymore. I had to cut it to sharpen it back.

    • @Blue4626
      @Blue4626 10 років тому +1

      Starasia So-Ambitious hey, i had the same problem! i eventually realized it was because my head was bigger than the head on the mannequin i was using. if you look on YT there are a ton of videos on getting the mannequin to match the circumference of your actual head. hope that helps :)
