    Robin, I really enjoyed your presentation here. You gave a feeling of genuine excitement for the product like you were tickled by all the novelty.

    After owning a F&P dishdraw for 20 yrs I’ve just purchased my 2nd one. I LOVE THEM because I have back problems and bending is a problem so I mainly use the top one, tip is to just run the bottom draw empty every so often.

    I have had my set of 2 drawers for many years and for entertaining it is the best. I start the salad plates washing right before I serve the main course. It is so quiet, you do not hear any noise. I don't know how I would get all the dishes done if I did not have the 2 drawer unit. I highly recommend this type of dishwasher.

    Great video, I am from New Zealand and came to Toronto in 2012, I am so proud to see F&P (yes calling them F&P is totally acceptable) in North America, but it's sad there's virtually nothing in the laundry range here compared to the dozens of models available in New Zealand.

    8:15 is the time stamp if you are not familiar with this dishwasher make & just wanted to know where detergent goes.

    While this is oriented as training for sales, it’s actually super informative just for consumers too. Great to have a way to educate yourself about a unique type of dishwasher.

      Came here as a consumer with my first ever dishwasher (second hand but in awesome condition) and your video was exactly what I needed to know!! 🎉

    Omg I’m staying at this airb&b in Australia and they have this dishwasher, but their model seems to be just one big unit. The thing keeps beeping like every few minutes! And there’s a flashing red light above the words Fast. I only see the remote control button that has a simple play/ pause button. How do I turn this thing off?!

    I have one of these and love it. I am wondering about any maintenance needed to be done. Is there a filter that needs to be cleaned in each drawer? Or is there anything else that should be maintained on a regular basis. Appreciate an answer quickly.

      Hi Shirley; The models may have changed since I did these videos, so for the most current information on how to maintain your particular model, you should check the Fisher & Paykel website or call your dealer for technical help. They will ask you for your model number and possibly the serial number, so it would be a good idea to have that on hand before you call. Good luck!

    Please show how to configure inside. Advertising says it’s ‘infinitely’ configurable but I don’t find any directions

      Hi Jessica; Your local F&P dealer will be able to show you how to configure the dishwasher drawers for your personal needs. Hope that helps!

    question can you run both drawers at the same time or do you have to wait until one finishes than start up the other one.

    as each drawer is smaller than a full size, What kind and dose of detergent is used with each dish drawer especially on eco mode which only 2 liters of water are used? Any tablets in the market are for a full size dishwasher.

    • @RobinSiegerman
      @RobinSiegerman  5 років тому

      Mjoy J , Thanks for your question, it’s a good one. Unfortunately, I’m not qualified to answer it. I would suggest you have a look at the manufacturer’s specifications on details of use of these drawers. If you can’t find the answer there, I would think someone on their technical phone line could help you. Good luck!

      use powdered/ gel detergent rather then tablets as you can custom measure, also the measuring units are in the dispenser so don't worry

    A regular dishwasher and a drawer dishwasher are the same thing! Only the way it’s opened is different. One isn’t more efficient than the other. 😂

    • @RobinSiegerman
      @RobinSiegerman  3 роки тому

      The way the dishwasher drawer is more efficient is that when using only one drawer at a time you are using half the amount of water and energy, particularly if the cycle is being run with only a drum half full of dishes.

      I suggest you send an e-mail with your comment to the manufacturer. It could be they have that planned for a future model.

      I'm sorry you've had a bad experience. I've heard from many people that they love them! Maybe a service call could help? Depending where you are located, there is likely a qualified appliance service company who might be able to find the issue or make an adjustment. I hope it helps!

    • @janinasimons8533
      @janinasimons8533 7 років тому +3

      +Robin Siegerman maybe they are great units in USA and Australia gets the dregs being a small market, I have contacted the company and awaiting a reply. it could be the pump or a blocked piping in the machine, as I the outlets from sink and dishwasher are not blocked. but tomorrow will be removing the ubend just in case.... depending on the problem, it just might be going to the tip...
      BTW my girlfriend had a model older than mine which was a diamond.... rinsed dishes all week, turned it on every Friday, took 30 mins, and door stayed locked for 5 mins, and even then the hot air that came out... all dishes pots etc, clean and dry and sterilised.... guess going modern,,,, just defeats the prpose.... too many extras to go wrong.... Thanks for your time... Blessings

    • @RobinSiegerman
      @RobinSiegerman  7 років тому

      I really hope removing the ubend helps! In my experience, appliances are a bit like cars: sometimes you get a lemon. I sure hope that isn't your situation, because I know from personal experience how aggravating that is (with another brand)! But just for the record, I'm located in Canada which is also a very small market compared to the USA, and I've heard great comments from clients here. I don't work for the company, and wouldn't have done videos for them if I had heard lots of negative comments from clients. I hope your situation gets resolved! BEST to you!

      +Robin Siegerman Awesome Canada.... I spent around 3 months in and near Toronto in Winter,,, It was like being in wonderland with snow everywhere, and the people were just unforgetable..... I have had some great holidays and travels in my lifetime, but Canada and China are definetly the top 2 .
      Yep you can always get a lemon, I have had a few of them, fortunately they were a lemon when on warranty.....
      Cars I can fix, these new fandangled electronic robots , another story.. I am also trying to make sense of the manual which is not as good as it should be, If all else fails find the screws for the panel where the pump etc is hiding.... LOL, I guess I should have been thinking of a challenge while it was so cold outdoors.... LOL.. Blessings and have a great week. :) TU

    These drawers are garbage. I’m now using mine for storage. Baskets break, impossible to fit if they need to be removed. It has never ever cleaned well. DO NOT BUY.
