Maybe try those hooks that go in your ceiling metal pieces between the tiles and a straight curtain rod in those hooks?

For your curtains, could you get large paper clips (bent into a L) to hang your rods from. They might be sturdier than pipe cleaners.

I'm teaching second grade at a Christian charter school
You could try hot gluing the curtains. I haven't tried it, but I've heard a hair dryer works to take hot glue off.
This was my first thought too as a quick, easy fix. :P
That's likely what I'm going to resort to doing. I am just nervous since I'd be hot gluing to the top section of the blinds. I use hot glue everywhere else, so I just need to bite the bullet and do it!!
Do your teach guided reading and if you do, what do you do during guided reading
magnetic hook on the ceiling tracks-they should be metal, if they are plastic you'd need gorilla glue and a plant hanger. If you put a few hooks on the tracks along the window you should be able to hang a rod and then use curtain clips to keep it up. The other thing would be a rod hung the same way-with magnetic hooks-and use a curtain with grommets. It'll never sag pieces off, as long as the rod stays put.
I hadn't thought about magnetic hooks! I have used plastic hooks, and the rod weighs them down. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
Alien Tape will hold anything to any surface for your curtain to stay up. Also, for your silhouettes and letters could you cut everything out of black peel and stick vinyl if you have or know someone who has a Cricut cutter?
Oh that's an interesting thought. I used the cricut to cut out the words. I wonder how well vinyl would stick to the textured windows? They are a strange material.
Could you use fishing line to somehow tie the rod up for the curtains?
That's a good thought, similar to creating a loop with pipe cleaners. I wonder where I wonder where I could attach it?

Hi there! Thank you! I actually made the silhouette kids myself. I would love to be able to share a link to them, but unfortunately, I lost the file due to my iPad crashing/resetting. I'm so sorry! I describe how I make them around the 10:40 mark. Let me know if you have more questions!!
double sided tape for the curtain? I was going to suggest velcro dots but sounds like you tried it!
I need to find some sort of adhesive that is strong. My guess is that I'm going to end up just using hot glue on a section that will be easy to pop it off of when I leave this room. Thanks for your suggestion!
When's your first day of school? Ours is the last week of August.
Mine is the 2nd week of August! Ahh enjoy a bit longer of summer then! We ended the school year before Memorial Day.
