Eeeek!! I was so excited to come in and start setting up my kindergarten classroom this year!
I really like a modern look, but also fun for the kids. Choosing the right furniture, making sure the kids like it too, and a place I like to be in. This is how I do it, but lmk if you have other ideas too. Check out my IG to see the rest of my teacher life :)

OMG, new teacher and subscriber here because this video is amazing! Love how you stayed true to yourself and got rid of the bright color’s because i’ve seen one too many rainbow themed classrooms. I’m not married but boy did you have me cracking up at that table 😂 like Dad where are you?! And on top of that using a bathroom rug for the quiet corner, genius! I will be starting my 18th year in education (I’ve done lots of things in addition to classroom teaching during that time) but my first year in kindergarten. I can’t wait to see my room so that I can get it set up. I love the way that you did things.

Where did you get those little pink/reddish chair/stools by your desk? Also, could you paint the green wall? If not, maybe try contact paper.

I taught in a Catholic school this past year, but we had a 45% Muslim population, who were about 80/20 hijabi/non hijabi. It was really cute seeing them react to resources where they were represented, or running to the mosque together after school to say the prayer they missed during lessons. My question to you: How do you respond to parents who might not be as open minded as their kiddos?
